TikTok users reported temporary downtime due to heavy traffic that was caused by the release of new single "Sweet Sixteen" by Japanese girl group ≒JOY. According to Hindustan Times, there was about 1.5 million new videos on the platform featuring "Sweet Sixteen" in the span of five minutes. Coincidentally, the top trending NSFW subreddits this week are centered around Asian babes.

In the last 24 hours, the top growing NSFW subreddit, r/KpopSexy, has seen an uptick of nearly 18% in subscribers. This community is dedicated to South and Southeast Asian girls ranging from pop stars to pornstars. In this subreddit, they prefer tasteful and intentional nudity in their posts. To give you a better idea of what to expect in this community, the recent common tags, also referred to as flairs, in this group are "breasts," "soft fabric yoga pants or tracksuit sport," "flexible," "butt," and "jiggle."

Another subreddit that's trending this week is r/AsiansGoneWild. This reddit is for female Asian Redditors to post their NSFW pictures and videos. Unlike the other subreddit, this community is focused on the real girl vibe versus a pop star or pornstar. As noted in last week's Flesh Trends, redditors seem to really enjoy "real girls" and "gone wild" when scrolling through NSFW subreddits.

After the release of ≒JOY's single, r/KpopSexy saw an increase in growth within 24 hours. Did the release of "Sweet Sixteen" and its popularity on TikTok cause NSFW Asian subreddits to trend this week? Personally, I don't think it's a coincidence. With all eyes on the Japanese girl group on TikTok, it's no surprise the NSFW turned their eyes to the subreddit dedicated to Asian pop stars.
