Through The Performer’s Eyes: Eva Long

First, and foremost, the true title of this article is “Inside My First Day on Set - Current.” It is written word for word by a starlet who has long been known to me as the female performer in the Girl/Girl world who can make any film sell. It was within the ranks of the library that Filly Films possess that I first met Eva Long. Her scenes were passionate, provocative and powerful. All this, despite her co-stars not always being able to return the energy. For some stars, that is a nuisance. Not for Eva. I again met her in this business through one of my best friends in the industry, the now retired Lynn Vega. There are some stories just too steamy to tell the general public. What I can divulge is that both women always made the other one blush. In more ways than one, and on more than a few occasions. All thrown together with a heart of gold, and a love for this business that few ever have as deep. It is every single one of those bullet points that led to try and seek out this woman to shoot, and all I can say, is that this woman did more than make a dream come true for me, and I think the story she has to tell about her time on set both past, and present, will do the same for your fantasies. A notification came in titled "Call sheet for tomorrow"... My first call sheet, here we go, I thought. It read eight AM Hair and Makeup. Pure Mature / Anal, MILF Scene Partner Johnny Castle, and the address. Bring two forms of identification. Wardrobe falling in line with a MILF theme. The part that made me the most nervous was, MILF attire, lol. I had thrown all my general manager clothes away before moving to Las Vegas, and you're telling me I need them. I immediately went shopping.

I arrived at the location about 10 minutes early. Now, where I come from, early is on time. On-time is late, and late is unacceptable. It was a very warm and fun introduction from everyone, asking for IDS. Signing consent forms. Then heading over to the makeup chair. As I looked around, I noticed several racks of clothes and shoes...Needless to say, I didn't need my own wardrobe. Thank God!!

I snapped a few pics of my amazing hair and makeup. Tried on a few wardrobe options. Then, when the wardrobe was approved, off we went to the shoot location. We pulled up to a beautiful two-story home, in a very nice neighborhood. Sleek, modern kitchen. Big, open living room. Complete with large windows and doors opening to a tropical-looking backyard. Pool, palm trees, and a fire pit! It was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Right away, I noticed the stairway leading up to an open large bedroom right as you came up. This is where I met Johnny Castle. The scene started with me in the kitchen, getting coffee I think? Lol. Then, a sexy strut up the stairs and the encounter. From here it's a bit fuzzy. Dialogue and a sexy stair walk seemed to happen on autopilot. I then did a short tease to Johnny and boom! Right into sex! As soon as the camera was on, I came alive. Everything felt more comfortable than most experiences that are so-called "normal.” I think it was my own pride of wanting to do good, but it was also comforting that I was there to play a character in this situation. I think that is why everything just seemed so natural to me. I do have to say that I owe the comfort, and relaxed feeling to the one, and only Johnny Castle. He was such a gentleman and guided me so effortlessly, he is a LEGEND! Thank you. When that day was over I felt relieved and hungry for more.

Now, fast forward eight years later. This current project, "The Solo Series/When Girls Are Alone" was brought my way by Don, and I was super into this right off the bat. Why? Choose your theme, consisting of photos, an interview, and a solo scene. “I love this idea!” That is all I could think of. Don and I ping-ponged a few theme ideas around until we combined the Aubrey Hepburn, ("Breakfast at Tiffany's) theme with a bathtub solo. Pure genius in our opinions, lol. Miles Long was set to do the photography and videography, which couldn't have been a better fit. Miles and I had worked together on my first photo session for my agency pics. We hit it off instantly to put it mildly! Reuniting on this project was so cool.

Over the course of the next month, Don and I worked on the wardrobe. We locked in a shoot date for Miles and I. When shoot day arrived, I arrived at Miles and got straight into hair and makeup. Our Makeup artist was none other than Wendy Doyle. Which was our first time working together. She is a master at her craft, and as I write this I'm overwhelmed with gratitude that she was aligned on this project. It is her work in that make-up chair that truly brought this look to LIFE! I wanted the project to show my versatility as a performer but also show all the sides of Eva Long. Feminine, strong, sexy, classy, naughty, and fun. This day is, and will always be, very memorable to me in so many ways. As I have been working in this business for eight years I can truly live in the moment, outside the nerves or fear of the unknown, because I have done all that Eva Long does! The scene became me in essence and I rocked my own world. The photos that Miles captured are to a T what I wanted to embody. I couldn't be more proud of the work we did.
