The XCritic Interview: Maitland Ward

XCRITIC

Written By:

Don Juan DeMarko

Who is Maitland Ward? As of February 2022, she is the XBIZ Performer of the Year. A feat that has never been accomplished by an actor who started their career in the “mainstream” world. You can call her Mistress Maitland, or Rachel Kimberly McGuire. The one thing you better damn well call her, is one of the most dedicated actors the world has ever known. She has the trophies to prove it. You will soon call her an author, and within Don Juan’s "bones" to be thrown askew when telling the future, he sees directing and writing credits under her belt that will blur some definitions within XXX and MPAA creative systems. But that is for a later discussion. The here, and now is all about those trophies sitting upon Maitland’s mantle, and her journey to earning them. She is an artist who needs no introduction, within any circle. She is a media darling who has the paparazzi smiling, just as much as the “old school” journalists who claim to be above the modern age of internet, blogs, blurbs and porn. I, for one, call her friend, and after this very special XCritic Interview, I have a feeling that you will be calling her something you never thought a porn star could be called, ….a game-changer.

Some actors, they are all show. Maitland Ward, she is a woman who lives by a code of compassion and kindness. Behind closed doors, she is all business. With the door wide open, she is all heart. The thing that I've marveled at the most since I first met Maitland, is her genuine smile. Her replies, all unscripted, and from her soul. If there was ever an ounce of timidness, you could not find it, and I dare you to try during a nerdy conversation with her about Jedi Knights and Comedy Central Puppets. That is where this interview begins. Completed just a few weeks after her massive win at The Palladium in Los Angeles, and a return to seeing her fans, and peers in person.

Maitland Ward

Don Juan: Woman, I have not spoken with you since this COVID-19 craziness began.

Maitland Ward: Yeah, you are right. I think that it was just right before that we last spoke.

Don Juan: Yes, it was. Because you were just about to make your second run as Best Actress, then bam! COVID-19 hit this world like a ton of bricks. Never the less, it has been an amazing twenty months since then, hasn’t it?

Maitland Ward: Yes, it has been exciting, and scary at times. I think that we got so much accomplished despite all the things that were happening around us as an industry. I think that has been pretty remarkable

Don Juan: I want to start out this interview with some bold words. I want to be the industry writer, who states for the record! Said with balls to the wall fury for anyone who talks shit without looking at your work. There is no one, and I mean, no one, who has come into this industry and done what you have. Maitland, you are doing it by working your ass off, and becoming a better performer. I have so much respect for you as an actor. You are a starlet who is putting the effort into the things that you are doing. If there is one thing no actor can do, that is fake anything in front of that camera in this business. You are putting in the work to become a true XXX performer. I can not commend you enough for that.

Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward: Thank you so much. You have always been the most amazing supporter of everything that I am doing. I appreciate you so much. I really try to put in one-hundred and fifty percent into anything that I am doing. That is because I respect what I am doing in the industry so much.

I hate when people, especially “mainstream” people, say; “Oh, it’s just porn. You relly do not have to do anything as an actor.” No, I am actually working harder than I ever have before, on anything in my career! It has meant so much to me, to be able to act in these breathtaking roles. Each and every year, the roles just keep getting better and better.

The perception in the world is changing. I believe that, because I have a lot of this newer generation come up to me and say, “I love your work. I love what you are doing in porn.I finally get to say that I watch porn” There are a lot of people out there in the world who do watch it. Most would never guess they watch it either. People who enjoy the features, and getting to see sex within a story. I am seeing that become more abundant of people, not just my fans.

Don Juan: This is an epic tale. One becoming more common and common these days. I was just talking to one of the great marketing directors in the industry, and she said something I will never forget. I was asking her how she was doing during this pandemic on a personal level, and her response was, “business is booming in porn.” I think so much of that is due to the fact that people are not being held down by the shackles of society. The binding that so much of society tries to place upon our business, and those who love the work produced in it.

Maitland Ward: Yeah, right, right! It is astounding to me. On my personal Facebook, yes, my personal Facebook. One that does not have a lot of my work on its pages. I posted that I won these awards, and I get all these people, from all walks of life, who support what I am doing. Family, friends, they have spoken up and said that they are proud of me, and have all been congratulating me. I think that is an accomplishment all unto itself. You would think that people would shun me. I know that I do not come from a place that is very conservative when it comes to porn, but, still, I see so many people, from all walks of life, and it is just the coolest thing to see.

Don Juan: You know, this brings up a story that I have been wanting to share with you for a while. I had a friend, who was on a mainstream set, and had this great little role in a mainstream television show. Long story short, it took her longer to get paid from the mainstream set, than it did from a “porn” set. That is something I think that would be very eye-opening to discover for a lot of fans and critics of the adult world. I think that would shock so many civilians who do not know the ins and outs of either side of the business. To know that people got paid quicker on a porn set. That is news that should shock the world.

Maitland Ward: That is so true, and some of these standards that we have been held to in porn, they are not held to in mainstream. There is just so much that is “loose” when it comes to mainstream and how they define things, or situations. It is so stringent in porn.

Don Juan:I think that the pandemic has given me a different perspective on things. You always take time for people. I think that is why you will continue to be successful with this campaign that you are on. A mission to make the world aware of who sex workers are, and why they deserve people’s respect, as well as their love.

Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward: That is so sweet, and that means so much to me. I really, truly believe that the only reason that I have gotten to the places that I have, is that my fans keep coming around to all the things that I am doing. We keep sharing all these amazing adventures together. I can not thank them enough for continuing to show up over, and over again. No matter what it is that I am doing. They allow me to be the dork that I am, and everything that you see, or hear me say. It is all because this is a team effort. People like you, people like Kayden. All these people that I have across during this journey. You all have really helped to knock down these walls with me. So, thank you all for being a part of this team. Our effort together means so much.

Don Juan: Sweetheart, you are beyond words. The thing that I must commend you the most on, is that you are a person who will sit down with the mainstream press, our industries press, and you give everyone an equal, and fair shot. I know both sides of the coin, it is a madhouse at times. A feeding frenzy with the press! Then, here you are, always your gracious self. How do you do it, my friend? I have always wanted to know what drives your compassion.

Maitland Ward: Aww, you too. You are always so loving and supporting about everything in the industry as a whole. I appreciate everything you do. It is true what you say. A lot of mainstream writers that I know, tell me that a lot of actors that they work with do not want to answer a lot of questions. They want to give the most basic interviews, and they want to know the questions well ahead of time. Some of them are just not that friendly too.

Don Juan: Maitland, you are one of the truest of actors that all sides of this business will ever have known. You are the definition of an artist, and to share one’s artistry, especially an actor, it is so damn difficult to share that with people you do not know. Especially when it is us, the press, and all of our inquiries.

Maitland Ward: Yes, you are right. I will say that along with the fans, the press have just been so supportive too. In every part of my journey along the way, both have been with me every step of the way. That is something that I will never forget!

Don Juan: I think I have shared this with you before? One of my favorite interviews that I have taken part in, is when I sat down and talked with the lead singer of the Misfits.

Maitland Ward: Oh, yeah, you have.

Don Juan: That is an interview that I would never pass up, for all the wrong reasons. Sitting down with you my dear, it is something that is warm, open, fun, and filled with laughter and smiles. I am learning just how valuable that is right now in life. Now, for us to start this thing off, in the most grandiose fashion. You hosted the XBIZ awards, you won performer of the year. That had to be something special.

Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward: Oh, it was so special. That was one of the biggest shocks of my career. It is what made the night so special. Getting to have the awards show in person, that also made the night that much more special. When XBIZ came to me, and said that they were going to be doing the show in person, and doing things in a big way. I just could not say no to hosting. Then, getting to win Best Actress for the third time, that added to the evening as well. The shock for me. That came from winning Performer of the Year. It was the fact that XBIZ was not just honoring my acting, but my sexual performance as well. That award is like saying, “you are the total package.” I was so floored, I didn't even know what to say. I was really at a loss for words. But, I think that I got it out, what I wanted to say. What a special, special night.

What other things I will never forget about that evening? It is getting to see everyone’s faces for the first time in years, and in other cases, ever! For the first time. I had not seen so many people in a really long time. That is because I am usually over here, in my little corner of the world, and those people who are with me in that corner. I see them all the time. But, people who are over at Brazzers, Gamma, or any of the other companies that don’t come over to the Vixen side. Those are the people I had not seen in years. It was really cool to get reacquainted with so many great people. What a joy it was to be able to celebrate together as an industry. Then to win performer of the year! It was just the cherry on top of the sundae.

Don Juan: You know, the first part of Don Juan that I want to put into this article, is that I am going to beat the shit, out of anyone who gives your work a bad call. Especially without ever taking a look at your true body of work, and filmography. I mean that. You have become one of the best damn performers in this business. You know how much I take this business seriously.

Maitland Ward: Yes, I do. That is why I appreciate you so much.

Don Juan: I was talking with a rather hard-nosed director in the business, just a bit earlier in the day. We were in fact talking about you. I told him, “look at MUSE, episode one, of season two. You will see that Maitland Ward is one-hundred percent a different performer.” He sluggishly agreed with me, as he should have. It is the truth, and I see that effort in every production that you are a part of. That deserves to be rewarded. That is why I am so happy for you darlin’!

Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward: Thank you, and I am very proud to have earned it. I owe so much of that award to people like you, and all the people who have supported me along the way. That is what makes it such an honor.

Don Juan: So, I have some more insight for you within the industry, and that amazing night. No matter who the person is, happy, grumpy, sad, business-like, or carefree as can be, they all talked about your speech to me. I am dying to hear what you said to the crowd woman. I must know. It is the industry buzz.

Maitland Ward: Oh, that is right, you have not seen it yet because they have not aired it yet. I think that it is going to be on XBIZ TV. If you can not find it, I know that they posted some of my speech on Twitter. I don’t think that they could fit the whole thing. I will try to find it for you.

Don Juan: You rock, my friend.

Maitland Ward: My speech, it was about being a sex worker, and an actor.

Don Juan: I had some friends tell me a little about what you said. I love that you spoke to your fellow sex workers, and actors, about such something that is very true to your heart. I would know. Since day one you have preached to me about wanting to learn more, and educate the world about sex work and it's workers. We need more of that in this world. You made people stop, and think. Even the grumpy bastards of the industry.

Maitland Ward: That is how you know you did something well.

Don Juan: So, on a personal note, and I say this as a huge germaphobe. Were you a little skeptical about getting back with the masses with all this COVID shit raging all around us?

Maitland Ward: Absolutely. XBIZ, they were really great about making people feel safe within a public event like this. They were superb about checking people’s vaccine cards. Especially with something like the Omicron variant spreading like it did so rapidly. So, yes, I was nervous, but there was a stronger feeling inside me that was telling me that I just had to do this. I had to get back to doing this. No matter what, in my mind, I think we all said that we are just going to get back to doing this together, and get through this together, no matter what! I hope that I was able to help lead the ship by getting to host this event. I felt it was my duty. So, yeah, I was a little nervous, and I got a little sick afterwards, but, it was something completely different than COVID.

Don Juan: Well, I know you told me that you did not get sick, and that is a good thing my dear. I had the virus, and it kicked the shit out of me. I can only imagine what people feel like with all these variants that are now out there.

Maitland Ward: Well, I tested positive for the antibodies. The way that I found out, I was on set with Vixen, and we had a person there who was administering the tests. They did it with a little prick of the finger, and they told me, “you have the antibodies.” Which means I must have been sick at some point. I think it is like you said, the last time we were all at AVN, I think that is when we all might have been sick.

Don Juan: I think that I might have been sick twice. I just got over being sick with COVID, and it has to be that OMICRON variant. Like I was telling you earlier, I was also sick after that AVN Awards show. When you had messaged me earlier in the week, I was just getting out of fourteen day quarantine.

Maitland Ward: Oh, wow! I think they have now dropped it down to a five or ten day quarantine. It seems like it is always changing.

Don Juan: I had totally forgotten that in LA, you guys are doing the cards! I am just so happy that you made it out, and that you were one of the people leading the charge for all of us to band together. You are talking to one of the biggest germaphobes. You, actually going out, showing us to not fear the presence of one another. That is a big deal, my dear.

Maitland Ward: I think so too. It created so much positive energy with everyone through the entire event. That happiness just ignited something within everyone. That is what I took away from the XBIZ awards show. Everyone was just so happy to be there. To see people’s faces, …to hug, and to party. That is what made that environment what it was. Being together again, and I think our mentality was, at least it was mine anyway. Even if we get sick, we still did it. We still made it out there to be together.

Don Juan: I love the XBIZ press that has continued coming out, all the way up until now. It is amazing! You know me, before all of our interviews, I am doing research until the very last second. I think they did a remarkable job. Every piece has been solid.

Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward: Yes, they have done a lot of good stuff. They are always so good at what they do. When you win Performer of the Year, I think everyone dreams about that interview. About what it will encompass. XBIZ, they made every single one of those interviews special. March has become my favorite time of year, because I have been in their magazine every single year around that time.

Don Juan: Darlin’, you are the one that inspires that within everybody. You know, my partner Miles, who I am creating this dream project of mine with, the minute I said your name, he said. “Get her on board. Tell her that no matter what it takes, we want her on board!” That is what you create within the heart of everyone who comes across your being, in any fashion. You inspire people to put a little elbow grease into the things they are doing, and that is good.

Maitland Ward:Aww, well, you know that I will be there for any of your series. Anything that you are creating. I have been watching, and I love how artistic everything is. You should really be proud and excited about it.

Don Juan: Well, I did what you did, my dear. I sat down, and I thought to myself, “how can I give back to the industry?” Both people that I am partnered with, they are people who love the performers. My series is something for the performer, by the performer. Something that is all them. All of you guys. I had Lacy Lennon tell me that fans were coming to her at the XBIZ convention, and were talking about her interview. That meant so much to me. That is what I wanted to accomplish, and that is why I want you a part of this so desperately.

Maitland Ward: Oh, that is great to hear.

Don Juan:Geezer, look at me overhear giving you my full pitch when I should be interviewing you.

Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward: Oh, don’t you worry about that. I am in, and we are signed, sealed and delivered.

Don Juan: You are truly something special, darlin’! So, we have to get into the definitive tale of Muse two. When that film started out, the audience was taken into that dark classroom, with that dark lighting, showcasing that character you created again. Truly, from that moment, no one can deny why you got that acting trophy that you did. That character, she spread her wings throughout the whole movie, and you feel her presence everywhere. My guess is that it had to be very nerve wracking to try and improve this already great character and move her into another realm of fantasy and storytelling.

Maitland Ward: It is so interesting. This year, that character, she was so much my “dark-lighting” throughout all the projects that I have done. Of course, she was in this series for me. All those things that were happening to her, and inside her, they made her become a bit more broken. But, at the same time, she was a lot stronger than she was in season one. Last year, she was so much more controlled. You remember that dominatrix scene. Last year's version of her, she was much more controlled. In Muse, season two, she got to become even more passionate, and driven. The whole thing, with the student bringing the case against her relationship with Manuel. Everything for my character, it just unraveled. I felt like I could really let go in Muse season two. There were so many places that I could get emotional, that I could explore the ways that this character could come apart. It was one of the best acting experiences in my career. When I got to these bridges, where I had to become very emotional, I found things not being as “pretty” as I thought they would be. I learned to love the fact that these moments were not pretty. I think that is how I was able to make things become more real for the audience, made things, very….raw! The sex too, to be able to take it to that place.

Don Juan: So, this was something that was very dark, in the best of ways, for you as an actor and an artist?

Maitland Ward: Oh, yes. In the beginning, you can see that everything about her is surrounded by darkness. It is not just being in that dark classroom that you speak of. I think that the darkness sets the tone for all the things that are about to come for every part of the series. There is so much that you see come into this character’s life. It is really like foretelling of the storm that is about to hit her, and when she gets hit by it, she really gets hit by it. This character gains strength through this storm. She gets stronger by being this broken down. I think that is something that shows another side of strength that we are not used to seeing with women. Most people think that you can only find or see strength within a woman and her dominance. It just is not true. That is what this character was for me. The amount of control that this character has despite all the things that are happening to her.

Maitland Ward

Some of the things that I remember most are the emotional places that the character went with Manuel. Then, this character, and her not being able to find love, all while facing these massive obstacles. That is how she becomes undone a bit. But, I think that's what gave her the strength so that she could build herself back up. The gang bang at the end of the film. That is what she needed to experience in order to finally take control of everything in her world. Because everything that happens to her, in Muse, season two, it is constantly spiraling out of control. It was this really fantastic journey to embark on, as an actor. To be able to play on so many different emotions, I think that is what every actor hopes for in a role. I think about that little scene, the small amount of time spent with Manuel. It is such a pivotal part of their relationship and interaction to the rest of the people in the film. The intensity of that scene showed so much where my character was in the story, and that is what leads everything else to begin to unravel. So, yes. It was the most amazing role to take on as an actor. It was one of the best roles I have ever played, and I am talking mainstream, adult, everything!

Don Juan: What this film makes me think of, are the years when the Wachowskis created The Matrix. Coming from a sci-fi geek, I would tell all non-sci-fi geeks, “this is why we nerd out over such things like this movie. A great movie makes you feel like you are in a simulation.” That is what this entire series makes you feel like.

Maitland Ward: You are so right about that. I never looked at it like that, but you are one-hundred percent right, and it does not matter the genre of the film.

Don Juan: This is no bullshit plug for Matrix Resurrections. No! I kid you not, when each of those stories unfolded, I was hypnotized and sent into an alternate reality. One that makes a person feel déjà vu if they have watched the first season with those exact interactions with Manuel. I love that you put the “human factor” into a character in the XXX film world.

Maitland Ward: Oh, that is such a good way to put it. That is the wording that I was looking for earlier. My character puts a “human factor” into all the emotions that she experiences. That “human factor,” allowed me to take her to all these places emotionally. To me, there is nothing cooler than that.

Don Juan: I love these looks into your heart and soul, my dear. I know how passionate you are, and I mean, gawd damn, you went to school for this.

Maitland Ward: Yes, I sure did.

Maitland Ward

Don Juan: Well, this is what brings us to our next topic of conversation. When I see the difference between this character, and the one you play in the Mistress Maitland series. That is something that shows the true depth of the predictions in this industry, and the actors like you who bring these characters to life. In Mistress Maitland, you again send the fans into a different type of simulation. One that has such an authentic feel to it. Every time we sit down and talk, I never get a chance to actually talk to you about fetish. Now, that you have that trophy on your mantle, what better time to talk about fetish. The spotlight you have put upon it, it is just so awesome, my dear.

Maitland Ward: Right, we never get to talk about fetish. I think fetish is really cool. Don, I just love that sort of thing. The Mistress, she is such a different character, just like you said. When you look at her, compared to the character in Muse, she is just so twisted. She loves all of her kink and fetish. She is all about domination. Furthermore, she has no apologies to give, AT ALL!

Don Juan: How to create a character like this inside?

Maitland Ward: Well, she is a character that is very twisted up inside. Her emotions, they are also very twisted, and I think they have to be. It is so crazy how popular that character is for so many of the fans out there. I get so many requests from my fans on OnlyFans, to get that saber out and start dominating like Mistress Maitland does. They want me to walk like her, they want me to talk like her. They are always looking for me to revive the character, and take fetish to other places they have not seen. It always gives me so many ideas when they tell me to get my boots on, and bring out that whip she uses. They really love that, and to me, Mistress Maitland is very “comic-book” esque for the fetish world. She is just so surreal. She has this persona that is so specific, and that is what makes it so cool to play her. I love these two roles, and feel so lucky that I got to play them.

Don Juan: I like to believe that this is what every actor dreams about. Especially within a one-year time period. To be able to play characters who are the complete opposite of one another. That takes so much dedication and talent.

Maitland Ward: You have no idea. When we were filming each scene, we were kind of going back and forth between the two movies. My schedule was like this; I would shoot a big portion of Muse, and then we would fit in Mistress Maitland stuff. Having to switch back and forth. It was a lot of fun.

Don Juan: You know, that statement right there. It speaks volumes of the mental energy an actor must have. I don’t think any actor,in any side of the entertainment world, gets credit for enduring such emotional rollercoasters. All in the name of putting on a show for the masses. You are making the world open up about their love for fetish, and the hard work it takes to create such features, roles, characters and more.

Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward: Thank you for that. I do have so many of those fans I told you about on my OnlyFans tell me that I am allowing them to talk about loving fetish. It is also something that ranges past just domination, and I am always open to trying new things. My fans seem to like it as well. Those two combined things make me want to experience more of it. I hope to always be someone who allows for more open-minded thoughts like this in the world. That it is okay to be shown in this type of light. Also, that it is okay to enjoy such thoughts in your brain, as you put it. Opening your mind up to those things, it is not something to be ashamed of. Fetish, it is something amazing. Something worth celebrating upon discovery. It is one of the most incredible parts of porn, I think.

Don Juan: I have told you about my future memoir. The title I have toyed around with is, “What I learned from dating a Porn Star.” It is about how I learned about things just like this. How I learned the value of intimacy, compassion and thought with a woman who is a sex worker, and makes a living because of sex. I think it will shock people that the industry life is not always about sex parties, orgies and free love.

Maitland Ward: Oh, I totally feel you. I have been getting some response from people about my book that is coming out. Some people think that it is going to be these tales, about all these wild sex parties. Things along that nature. I think what you speak about is so important, and such an interesting angle to write a book about.

Don Juan: This great love of my life, who I am still very close friends with. She told me when we started dating, “I will have you enjoying fetish, and you will understand a new meaning of the word, romance.” She was right. Before her, I was just a hopeless romantic. Now, I am this man who wishes that he would have gotten into fetish earlier in my life. Because I felt like I missed so much. Rope binding, domination and submission. It has been life altering.

Maitland Ward: Oh, gosh! That is such an intriguing perspective. I love that, because nobody would expect that. I don’t think people would expect to see, that what you can get out of porn, is something with heart. Especially from that kind of sex play. That is really neat! That is something that must be written about! It must!

Don Juan: My dear, I think that is the wonder of our business. You know, I was just talking to my partner, and good friend Miles Long about something similar. If people were to listen to our phone conversations, they would be surprised that our talks are always about finding intimacy with women. Cuddling, compassion and love.

Maitland Ward: I know just where you are going with this. People would believe that all you guys talk about is sex. (We literally stop the interview in it's tracks, for a great laugh shared.)

Don Juan: You know, I think that is what makes your characters something so real. So relatable to the people who watch. This last year has been one of the most epic combinations of love and lust created by a performer. That is why those trophies went home with you. Love, it is a forgotten part of life, let alone the industry. I think that is what you bring most, with all that you are. Compassion, love, and kindness. Those things are all a part of sexuality.

Maitland Ward: That is true. That is very, VERY true. I think that sometimes it is missing. People think that the industry is just sex, sex, sex. There is so much more to it than that. I was once told, that no matter what it is, my writing, or performing in a scene, and not just in porn, “You have to fulfill everybody’s senses.” You have to be able to do something that appeals to all five senses. Or, four of them, at least. Being that to hear it, see it, smell it, and touch it. I think that is something you can do with the things I have created so far in the business.

Don Juan: So, I assume that when you approach each film you make, you have such things in mind.

Maitland Ward: Oh, yes. I feel that if I have created something that only looks good, I have not done everything that is possible to reach the fans. Looking includes only one of your senses. I do look at it as a failure, if that is the only sense I reach within my audience. I want them to all be immersed in it. I want them to be a part of “The Matrix!”

Maitland Ward

Some people have doubts about everything, no matter what it is in life that they face. That is what makes this world, and this community, in adult entertainment so great, and so different. I leave you with this in closing dear reader. As a man who has been a casting reference for directors and production companies, a XXX film critic, who has literally watched thousands of films. There is no doubt in my mind that Maitland Ward deserved the 2022 Performer of the Year trophy. She is a star who is bringing back quality over quantity. She is a “mainstream” actress who is showing us that her greatest roles have been here, in the adult film world, creating fantasy. That is something the outside world has never cared to admit existed in porn. But, ask any producer or director, that is the only way you can sell a film to fans who want kink, erotica, and don’t want anyone’s opinion about what they love. These two characters, these two films. They are something that will be remembered as a defining moment in the land of XXX. This writer sees it as a jumping off point to bigger things, and not just for Maitland Ward. I like to believe, the only way that you can say thank you to an actor of her caliber and experience, is to give her a prize that few people ever earn. She is now in a realm with Jenna Jameson, Jewel De’Nyle and other legends of this industry who took our world to new places. In the digital age of porn, we forget that there are still moments of innovation. We forget that there are still worlds that can be discovered. I like to believe that is what makes Maitland Ward the gold standard of the two-thousand twenties. She is a person who is making us ALL elevate our games, and no one on earth has ever failed when it comes to giving their all. Maitland Ward, Muse, and Mistress Maitland are proof!
