The name says it all. But until you’ve been, you really don’t know what to expect. I went to my first Exxxotica in Chicago of 2021 and remember feeling a little bit anxious on my way into the convention center {Actually, I was VERY anxious, … possibly downright nervous!!!}. During that first trip, my case of nerves was due to not knowing what to expect. A few months later, on my return to New Jersey Exxxotica, I felt the same butterflies in the stomach, except this time it was from knowing what to expect and looking forward to it!

I was about to enter a building full of friends, future friends, and … family! It’s exhibitor booth after exhibitor booth, all of them filled my industry family, beautiful people, and wonderfully unique products. But you don’t have to be writing up a short piece or taking photos for XCritic to have a good time. Fan and pros alike are seen taking a stroll around, stopping and talking, taking selfies, but most of all, enjoying the show. There’s the bondage dungeon, the main stage, and the Exxxotica Hotties scattered about, moving, swinging, and dancing around. And it lasts for three days.

Newsflash- three days isn’t nearly long enough to take it all in and see everyone that you want to see. The time literally flies by until it’s Sunday afternoon when people start saying goodbye, packing up, and heading to the airport for that long flight home. Still, it’s such a welcome thing, especially after the long Covid lockdown. The banner for New Jersey said, “It’s About F*CKING Time”, and that was right on target. I loved every single minute of it. I had a blast at New Jersey, Chicago, and I’m looking forward to meeting up with everybody again in Washington D.C.
