3 jars of your favorite tomato or pasta sauce (My favorite is Prego Mushroom)
1 empty sauce jar of water
2 small jalapenos, chopped
1 small white onion, chopped
2 whole garlic cloves, chopped
1 can of corn
3 packets of McCormick Chili Seasoning (Contains gluten!)
1.5-2lbs of vegan ground beef substitute (My favorite is Impossible)
Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, turmeric, smoked paprika, cumin, and any other spices you like
Also:
Shredded vegan cheese
Tortilla chips
Your party guests will love this vegan chili! Start the recipe in the morning or early afternoon, and it will be ready by the evening!
Simply put all of the ingredients in the first section into the slow cooker. Make sure to break up the ground beef substitute before adding--this is easy enough to do with your hands.
Turn the heat up to High, and let cook for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally. After this time has passed, you can then turn the heat down to Low to keep the chili warm, throughout the party.
Add shredded vegan cheese and tortilla chips as desired.
Serves 12-15 people or, if you're making it for just yourself/your family, it will last all week!
