Parker’s Picks: Group-Sex

It is that diversity that makes this “After Dark” shine. And now for something completely different. 

Colette Pellisier takes the director's chair in a short film that represents a total departure from X-Art’s style and serves as a preview for the more fun and ‘porny’ work that would later make up Colette.com’s style.

When it was released in 2013, I was still very much rooted in the art-porn camp. If an adult film wasn’t cinematic, elegant, or something out of a ‘90s music video, I was less than enthusiastic at that time. In a way, this goofy five-some began to change all that.

The set is relatively basic, and the concept is about as porno as you can get. Capri gets two male strippers for her birthday part, and so an orgy ensues. It isn’t high art at all.

Instead, “Happy Birthday Capri” is a fun and seemingly unscripted orgy. The crew is out of the way, and despite some made-for-porn positions (hello reverse cowgirl), you get this impression that the whole thing is one big improv act.

This is not the highest rated scene out there: X-Art fans rate it 7.6 out of 10, but it is a fun example of silly and free-wheeling porn and gives plenty of insight into future directions taken by the X-Art network.
