Seeing Riley Reid as the next candidate for Evil Angel Films’ “I Am” sex documentary was a pleasant surprise. After the awesomeness of Angela and the mystique of Katrina, Riley Reid would be the perfect stop for these deep journeys to visit. A veil is lifted in this series documenting a real human that is perceived to be a porn fairy thanks to what the internet can lead you to believe. In reality, this person is actually proud of her porn accomplishments and doesn’t shy away from them. Riley Reid is hands-on from beginning to end when it comes time to procure her porno art apart from living her real life. Being involved in directorial duties and having her own site filled with her own content is something that is shown in this doc. I was so excited to see a tour into Riley’s routine as it reminded me of MTV’s Cribs but with a superstar porn actress instead of Marilyn Manson. From starting her day home to arriving on set, Riley is followed by Evil Chris’s camera to show that there is a human side to the fantasy.

Seeing the massive poster of the film’s cover design hanging over Times Square brought the reality home that this was a large undertaking from the house of Evil. The minute the photos landed on Twitter of the larger than life film poster for ‘I Am Riley’ my excitement grew. It was good to see porn go big like that for a project that deserves it.

“We really worked hard on this one…” Evil Chris messaged me and I sensed it not only from the marketing push but also because of the lineup of visionaries that were on board for this sex doc. The usual suspect of Evil, Jonni Darkko, had a hand in this outing. He just gels well with some of the top talents in the biz because his style is all about the gleam and pristine of our business’ best stars. All while keeping it filthy for the true porn fans out there. The scene he was involved in had Manuel Ferrara activating his adult star status to bring out the best in Riley Reid.

The threesome scene with Izzy Lush and Isiah Maxwell was all also about bringing out the best in themselves and the viewers. A new tart like Izzy can only shine with Riley and Isiah at her side. I'm sure she made new fans here with this unified sex endeavor. It is actually a great primer for the very showcase that kicks off as the first sex scene that has this showcase rise in heat.  From there you’ll meet everyone from her personal makeup artist to her dog as the film progresses.

The closeness continues in this intimate look into the life of Riley. The main man at Evil Angel had a crack at capturing Riley Reid with his camera too. Matter of fact the entire theme of Evil Angel CEO John Stagliano’s episode was a photoshoot. This was the iconic trans scene with Aubrey Kate and Riley Reid that has an interesting scene setup with Sebastian Keys playing a photographer in the scene. Things turn heated in the musical montage that shows him engaging with Riley Reid and Aubrey Kate. Then the real TS sex sets into motion. Before the teasing montage, you’ll see the three of them cavorting on set in a gleeful manner. Stagliano and Reid are genuinely excited to work that day since it comes off in the dancing they do on set and for the scene. If you want to even call it job since the lucky Sebastian Keys and Aubrey Kate get to play with them that day.

Finally, the explosive fifth chapter has two dynamite male talent meeting in the middle to DP Riley Reid. Chris Streams is on board for that chapter to explain it himself. Expect to see Ramon Nomar and Markus Dupree step on set to show this enthusiasm the minute they meet at Chris Streams'  place. Even with an injured foot Markus Dupree didn’t slow down one bit for this double penetration blast. You’ll see him hobble through the door in a pair of crutches. You’ll also see a caring Riley Reid asking about the injury before the amazing sex scene takes place.

This inside look also shows a very real moment in one of the episodes where a fan reaches out to Riley Reid in a segment where she calls them randomly from her phone. The reality of a scammer using Riley Reid’s likeness to steal money from a hapless fan is easily read on her concerned face. It shows you a tidbit of what these performers go through thanks to the over access of social media. She is understanding to the plight of this lost fan but also points out that she doesn’t ever ask for money directly from her fans.  These stark realities are just a touch of what I Am Riley provides since most of them are happy moments from this porn nymph’s life. A life worth more than what a few hours of film can show.
