Another Exxxotica, Another City: My Trip To New Jersey

The stage is set for the ever-active Chaturbate sponsored stage that held host to many shows throughout the weekend.

This was my second year attending Exxxotica, I was in Miami back for the  September meeting. Even then I still heard the legend that is the New Jersey leg of the sex show carnival. Not comparing one to the other because they are both two completely different shows. That is an impressive feat that is pulled off under the Exxxotica banner. This traveling troupe of adult performers paraded through four major cities in the US and I was lucky enough to attend half of these stops. New Jersey was packed wall to wall with real fans of the adult industry. It was a phenomenon I only heard about, I even heard a lot about it last year when I attended my first Exxxotica back in 2018. Matter of fact I haven’t seen a convention hall that packed since the comic book conventions I used to attend many years ago here in Orlando. The experience was amazing on all fronts especially for someone covering the show as a true fan deep inside the insider.

More fans meant more performers attending with their booths and porn loot. Certain names that weren’t present at the Miami branch of the expo but were here at the NJ outing gifted us with their presence. Names like Jada Stevens, Luna Star, Kenzie Taylor, and Kiki Daire whom I got to meet for the first time. I also saw familiar faces like Evan Stone, Jillian Janson, and Lauren Phillips that I’ve seen at previous Exxxoticas or other expos that I’ve attended.

I got to meet Natalie Mars for the first time at this jam packed leg of the Jersey tour for Exxxotica.

Both Exxxotica Conventions stood out to me on varying levels. The Miami show was more of an industry get together since a large chunk of the industry is local to that city. The attendees felt more like curious onlookers than the major fan turnout that was New Jersey. But that is a good thing because imagine how many new fans were made in Miami that probably showed up at Jersey's leg? It truly is like following around your favorite band on tour.

I was greeted by the frozen stare of a love doll at the 1 Am Love Doll booth. So many sights and sounds.

Many of the major vendors were around too but with a seasonal twist. Halloween was around the corner at the time of this three-day meeting so there was a spookiness added to the sexiness. Images of iconic horror filled the convention space complimented by treats at the booths where the starlets stood.  Clothing lines advertised their wares next to a convergence of booths that housed these very performers selling their clothing lines too. It was a XXX mall that doubled as a carnival show celebrating responsible sex.

There were many stand out memories for this trip up to New Jersey. Meeting people for the first time was a definite plus but seeing the same familiar faces around mingling just like I was made me feel a part of the carnival. Everyone left home behind to be a part of their second home in this celebration of accpeting sex in an accepting industry.  I wish there was an Exxxotica every month in every city.
