XCritic Interview: Kendra Lynn

First off Kendra, thank you for sitting down with us here at XCritic. I have had many colleagues comment on just how much you fit the bill of the "girl next door." Many of them referred to your work with Forbidden Fruits Films, which, most do not know, require quite a good degree of acting capability. To start things off, what is your favorite type of character to play and your favorite fantasy to turn into a reality for fans.

Kendra Lynn:

Let me start off first with a huge THANK YOU to DON, to include all the team at XCritic for supporting my career, film work, and future plans with my newer film companies. An interview such as this creates a great opportunity that I am not only grateful for, but appreaciate more than you know. Thank you again to evryone involved with my journey to date and beyond. Now, to honestly answer you here Don about roles I have played, when I first began in this industry it appeared most of the roles everyone wanted to cast me fo,r were in films where I played either the teenage girl next door or taboo daughter scenes. I never minded these roles as I was already attracted to older men anyways, so this made it fun to role play with the male talents, while being naughty on the inside and innocent on the outside.

As I grew into my career over these last few years, I always try to have as much fun as possible on set while the camera is rolling, even if it is only wardrobe, hair, and make-up. I like to joke and have a good time. I found a great way to get into my roles and work, was by exploring ways I could relate to someone or something from my own my life experiences. That appeared to work out best, so I could become what the director wanted me to be for that scene, plus it helped to create a connection with the male talent for the scenario that transistions to the screen for the viewer. Seriously, the fact that I was about to be fucked by a new cock as if no cameras were there was how I approached these shoots in the beginning. Once again for me this worked out well, as I started to get more into my roles and enjoy my time on set learning and mastering my craft. Plus this showed me that I can put my mind in the right place as a professional adult model and not look to give off a feeling that I am nervous around the crew or talents. I mean I am lucky enough to fuck hot guys and gals on set and get paid to do this...LOL!

Part two of this question, what type of role have you never gotten to take on head first yet? What type of character are you dying to play? For those who do not know, will we get to see these characters portrayed for us with Tropical Lust Productions?

Kendra Lynn:

There is only a few roles I have not yet played in my current adult film work, over on the fetish side of things, though I do miss sometimes playing intense DOM roles and scenes. I would say a genre like this in my film catalog will become a complete role reversal where females DOM the guys but with a little Kendra twist on it. Something along the lines of content you already see in works from HardX, James Dean, and a few others that are excellent at capturing scenes where the intensity floats borderline of scaring the shit out of the viewer. Instead of filming the normal punishing, yet dark cliche fetish. I would instead stay within the realms of the girl next door who destroys slave fuck boys!!! I cannot give a lot of details but I will say it is going to be a whole new type of film for sure. These types of films are already in the works, where I will be showcasing models like Draven Star in films not currently in the genres they are used to working in. There are also many exciting projects in the works as we speak on the Tropical Lust side of my company, to include other titles on the Kendra Lynn Films side of the house.

This leads me to my next question. What is Kendra Lynn’s definition of Tropical Lust Productions? What type of company is it? What do you all specialize in? Is this something fans will see as long, lengthy productions of grandeur? Or is this simply, good old fashioned gonzo sex for all the masses to ogle at with their jaws on the floor and their eyes bugging out of their heads? I would love to hear it from the cat’s mouth, what is it that Tropical Lust Productions is looking to bring the fans?

Kendra Lynn:

This is such a awesome question to ask because those who know Tropical Lust personally will tell you he is very straight forward, honest, and almost too blunt about the BIZ. To include topics that could help make this a better industry for ALL involved. I would label his company and him as extremely focused and driven, which helps to motivate my company and films as well.  With the two companies, we will be able to offer gonzo films, amateur films, amateur cinematic films with in depth B role and plots like you saw in the 70's threw the 90's. To include everything in between, which can help us to become diverse in our titles and reach a wider audience. Tropical Lust just started listening to the fans and talent that were all saying the same thing. The porn of today is cookie cutter and there is no real story line or meaning left anymore. Just a lot of raw, close up sex and the same five themes over and over. We hope to please the fans and industry with more back to the roots films and well thought out approaches that built this industry into the empire it is today globally. Keep your eyes open across the summer of 2017 into next year for many exciting titles to release under Tropical Lust, Kendra Lynn Films, and many more models we are currently developing films for.

Now Kendra, I do enjoy getting to pick the brain of a performer and get all those lusty details to the fans in only the way an adult actor can bring their way but I also like to showcase the person behind the character. I have heard that you grew up in Indiana and that you are not a basketball fan? Is this true?  I would love to know what it was like growing up in Indiana? More important than that, I would love to know how you became a Packers fan being that I am a Denver Broncos season ticket holder and bleed orange and blue!  I did enjoy Super Bowl 32 by the way. Tee-Hee.

Kendra Lynn:

Yes this is true, so I know I let down the Midwest LOL! I can tell you though, that the house I grew up in like most, when you made it to the garage that was more a man cave for my father and everything is Indiana University and Bob Knight....I mean to some Bob Knight and IU is like GOD in the HOOSIER STATE. I also had the privelege of attending my first INDY 500 which happened to be the 100th running and the year Dan Wheldon won before he was lost to us all at Vegas at the end of the season. The 500 had me hooked instantly on racing and I have now been over the years to Indy Car races in 3 different states since then. I also started to watch more F1....Anyone want to bring me to the 76th running of Monaco next year? You better have a big boat....HAHAHAHA.

As for growing up in the Midwest, Indiana life is pretty simple and easy going. Indiana is a state in America where I was raised on original principles, values, hard work ethic, and being courteous to those around as well as all your neighbors. This is passed down from an era almost lost in the Midwest upbringing that built this great nation up for decades well before I was born. As for the Packers I had just moved to Florida right after graduating high school and  arriving home from a day of work in the retail world, I turned on the TV. It was still on ESPN from the race the day before. I think it was a 30 for 30 on the Packers and I do remember seeing Clay Matthews on TV before this, as well as Aaron Rodgers. They were talking about this new player and how they were really excited to have him new to the team. They kept calling him Twista,and I watched his story about his life and road to football, as well as the draft and the NFL. Seeing and hearing his story about coming up from the streets on a ruff road to the NFL, I was like...."Hey I do not have a team and I do think Clay is hot and everyone else I know loves the Colts." This is how I became a Packers fan...and remember that Peyton built his house in INDY before DENVER.....LOL!!!!

I found researching you to be something very interesting. We share a great many things in common on paper. At least that is what is on paper.  I am a huge Beatles fan, huge! I have seen both living member’s live in concert and I go ape shit over their memorabilia. I must ask, how did you become a Beatles fan. I am also more curious and I would love to know, my fellow writer Cyber 5 would love this, what are the first five songs on your favorite play list you have made over the years, because you must have one, the love for The Beatles gave it away doll.

Kendra Lynn:

Back to my father again.....him and I spent a lot of time listening to music together and he taught me all about classic rock as well and his favorite group The Beatles. This is probably why I LOVE John Lennon and a lot of the classics. I have a few playlists on my Spotify as well as the ones shared to my account thru Tropical Lust which is a lot of alternative and classics as well.  1.  John Lennon - Imagine  2.  Extreme - More Than Words  3. Guns and Roses - Patience 4.  Mad Season - Wake Up  5. Silversun Pickups - Growing Old Is Getting Old.....and this was a very hard question to ask as there are so many talented musicians and bands out there. So you might roll up next to me this summer at a light when I have the windwos down and jamming out in my ride to Lil Wayne, Twenty One Pilots, 311, Johnny Cash, or  even Journey. I love all music depending on my mood or what I am doing at that time. I am now starting to learn more about the surf/drag race/hot rod community of the west coast. This has opened my eyes and ears to groups such as The Ventures, Ritchie Valens, including the SoCal Punk/Ska movement. There is mainly one genre I do not listen to very often, but I do not mind country music and being from Indiana I do know a lot of country songs. I just kept an open mind to what sounded good or what I felt I could connect with at that specific time. Music is awesome!!!!

Girlsway, along with Bree Mills and Alan are simply one of my favorite movie making duos in the business. With all their recent success this last awards season, I would love to know what your experience was like shooting with them. Has that experience influenced the way that you make films being as you are the co-owner of a production company yourself. I would love to hear, what has shaped your directorial eye in this business. Who and what has influenced the amazing Kendra Lynn?

Kendra Lynn:

To clear the air I still have not shot for Girlways, but I have met Alan a few times at events and worked with Craven Moorehead on set for Peter and Nadia North. I would LOVE to work with Bree and her crew as I only hear good things about their sets and her amazing "Honorary Lesbian" family. She has done really well the last few years and come home as a rockstar from the awards shows that just passed us by. I would say right now they are setting the standard and vision for lesbian titles and some of the stars they shoot are some of my good friends that say the same....they are top notch and get shit done. Sounds very similar to my approach as I come forward with Tropical Lust and my newest film creations for models in the industry that are looking for their own visions that can be motivated by others.

Now here is a question I have been dying to also ask you, because I have heard through a mutual friend, that you would love to have some ink in the future but do not have any now. My question to you, the actor, the producer, the performer. What is your view on the rise of the tattooed performer? Do you see tattooed performers being able to have the same advantages as a performer who is ink free like you? Now, most important. Do you think the tattooed performer will ever get the same kind of roles as you in terms of the “girl next door” or the innocent teen or MILF, depending on the performer?

Kendra Lynn:

I have already had to question this myself as I would love to have ink but I also had a corporate job about 6 months after high school which I just left this year so that was not really an option. By this I mean I knew if I was going to continue to shoot and being young I had the girl next door look down and I am also natural. I really thought about this for a year because if I was going to go the route of a tattooed star there would be no half-assing it, you gotta be covered like Bonnie or the girls really getting it done in the biz such as Kleio, Leigh Raven,  Harlow Harrison, or my homegirls like Jarushka Ross and Draven Star. I support everyone in this industry so it is great to see the tattooed girls get the exposure they deserve as we are all models in the end right? I also think it is super hot if you ask me on the ladies. On the tail end of your question this can go both ways for either myself or any of the tattooed stars. Some doors open for them that will not open for me as I have no ink and vise versa for tattooed stars. Whether I was inked up or the doll next door we all make choices in the biz that shape and shift our careers. It is hard for me to shoot for Burning Angel or be at the Inked Awards winning an award with zero ink, just as it is hard to be a model covered in ink and piercings playing the role of the young girl next door, shooting scenes like...I Banged my TEENAGE Step Daughter (HAHAHA) or I FUCKED the Babysitter while my MILF WIFE was at work...LOL!!!!

Kendra, you have been active since 2013, is that correct? I should ask Kendra, off all the films you have been a part of and all the characters you have played this far in your career, what performance do you think truly defines you, or is simply, the most amount of fun you have had on set? I would love to know, especially that way we can tell the fans what scene is the absolute must have that every Kendra Lynn fan simply must watch?

Kendra Lynn:

Yes in 2013 is correct starting in Florida and I recently moved to Los Angeles in October of 2016. With all the characters I have played to date....I learned a good amount shooting my characters for Confessions out now at HotMovies and for Dilf Diaries that releases in July. Both these roles were in depth and required me to go into characters that were different than the typical taboo daughter or gonzo fuck scenes with little or no dialog that i had shot most up to this point. Even the role I played in Confessions is actually pretty sad but sits on the edge of hope with dreams versus reality. As the Dilf character was a lot of fun. I was the younger sister in a role with Cadence Lux as my older trouble making sister and of course I was the good girl next door. I can tell you though for this BGG scene all three of have a first on camera that was captured in the scene as the roles were just wrote that way...I can say it is super fucking hot and I have not done this on set again for a film company to date since. Way to go Cadence and Tony D as we rocked that shit!!! Now for the most fun and relaxed shoots I have done which kind of capture who I am sexually off camera, and also where viewers can see a good amount of the real me. This would most defintly would have to be the Gangbang Creampie I did a few months back for them in Arizona. Just me with 5 hard dicks, a camera man, and a lot of cum. I can say that Aziani Studios and their crew of guys are a blast to work with and you will be fucked the way most girls want to be but never get to be, inside an environment that feels nothing like a set but more like a swingers club ran by the most awesome staff on earth.

Well, we have to ask this one being as the fans would love to know. So, I have heard you are a food coinsurer, is that true? So where does a gentleman, or lady for that matter, take you if they are looking to simply make you melt like butter and take you home after a meal? What food is it that will score a date and instant invite to go upstairs with Kendra Lynn? Part two to this question, do you like to cook? If so, what is your favorite thing to cook? I myself love to and I think there is such an art to whipping up some shit in the kitchen. Hours of prep time is my heaven, especially if it is with a beautiful woman like you and filling those minutes while prepping a great meal with great talk of life and everything in between.

Kendra Lynn:

OMG I love food and this is hard since I have to maintain a look for you and all the fans. Growing up in Indiana there is not a lot to do beyond nature and outdoor activities if you fish or hunt. There are a handful of events every year like the fair, concerts, and things like the zoo. Most of the time there is only the typical normal spots like bowling, movies, the mall. and lets not forget half the year we are buried in snow. So food and going out to eat are what most do, or you see a  lot of the family & friends backyard BBQ, weekend get togtehers in the spring and summer are very popular as well, which always includes a ton of home cooked food when we all come together. Fort Wayne if I recall has the most fast food, restuarants, and churches per capita than anywhere else in the US. Lets say I kind of had food in my face everywhere I looked. Donuts, or any kind of baked goods and pastries are my killer. It used to be chocolate but for some reason as I get older I have found other delights in my routine. I am also a chcocolate dipped swirl cone, sundaes with no nuts or cherry, chocolate shakes, and shaved ice whore...HAHAHA. If you follow my Twitter or Instagram you will see I am always out eating at Mom and Pop eats up to the types of places where you dress your ass up and drop a $100 for a drink and a meal. I do not give a fuck what it costs to eat a dinner or any other dishes or food dish that is worth every dime you spend for it. So to your question of how you win your way into my tastes buds and the bed depends on my mood for what I am craving. I do go to more Mom and Pop though over nice sit down venues. I just love the options of so many talented spots where traditions and recipes have been passed down for generations to create icon spots and dishes all over the world.

In America this means where you are in the states can dictate where and what you eat, so a place that a guy or girl could spend under $20.00 and watch me get excited like a little girl is Portillo"s Italian Dipped Beef with sweet peppers and soaked. I was so happy after leaving the Midwest when they came to Florida, and saddened when I moved here to Los Angeles, but that was short lived as there is a Portillo's in the OC an hour and a half away from me if traffic is good LOL. Yes, I have been there easily in the last few months 5 times at least I think I have as when I go there I am usually pretty baked. Living in the valley it takes 100 years to go 10 miles, so I spend a lot of time with Tropical Lust and Brock Doom hitting up all the iconic food spots all over Los Angeles. I love how many 24 hour options there are, and as a Midwest girl there are not a lot of places you can eat beyond IHOP, Denny's, or Steak and Shake that are 24 hours so this is fucking awesome here. The 3 of us were laughing a few days ago at the LA Times top 100 places to eat everything good in Los Angeles. This included a list of bars, fast food, over the counter, ice cream, donut shops, food trucks,  to the top seafood or steak houses. After we checked off where we had already visited recently  we realized we have close to half of the roster completed. Like SK Donuts as the #1 shop in LA, to Canters Deli and Pacific Dining Car. I have also found another favorite spot for a Philly Cheesesteak and they show stars love too....BOOS PHILLY in Silverlake is FUCKING BOMB!!!!

I love to ask this of every performer. Especially those who know how to create a great scene with another woman. Who is the one star that you would simply love to work with more than any other that you have not already? What performer has captured Kendra’s eye and perhaps developed into a bit of a crush to where you know that you would have an incredible scene together.

 Kendra Lynn:

You ask this question because it is an easy one to be answered for almost any adult star. I was saddened the day that Bonnie said bye to the biz a few years ago as I was crushing her hard and going to find a way into a scene with her no matter what. Then I became super happy for her and her man when she annouced she would be leaving us all and beginning a new journey to start a family. I thought this was great to see as so many of us girls get stereotyped by the masses that we cannot have a normal life off camera, or find love which leads to marriage and family. So I always thought....well that cannot happen for me anymore, then I started to see Katrina Jade in my feed more and more and was like look at this hot bitch that remoinds me of a younger Bonnie. Now this question may be all in reverse but I would love to know the story of how an amazing woman like you got into this business. We would love to know how it all began.

I was not really looking to come into the industry as I had a great job with amazing pay and benefits in Florida. This provided me with a decent quality of life helping me to afford a nice 2 bedroom apartment 4 minutes from the beach. The beach life leads you to go out often and I did along the beach and sand weekly. Sitting at a bar on the water with Tropical Lust having drinks, dinner, and just enjoying a beautiful Friday evening on the sand we kept noticing this girl looking over. She was with a group of younger people that looked like our kind of crowd staring over for like an hour as we all 3 made eye contact. About an hour later she finally got up and walked over to us getting straight to the point.

She asked if we were dating each other and if we were open. This all depended on where she was going with this, so Tropical Lust said something close to that and stated under certain circumstances the answer would be yes and we are pretty open minded.
