Sexual Health Expo 2016

 Brooklyn once again had the upmost pleasure to host the Sexual Health Expo last month which was sponsored in part by We-Vibe, Tenga , Cine-Kink, Babe-land, Doc Johnson and  a host of many others! The focus of the Expo was more of a learning experience when it comes to the latest facts about sex and intimacy in a very relaxed and open environment.

The Sexual Health experts and Coaches were also on hand to provide the expertise on seminars on learning to love yourself, sexual wellness among many others for couples. Couples came from all over the Tri-State area for a weekend filled of guest speakers CineKink’s Lisa Vandever, freebies, games and an all around good time for all to be had.

Among the many booths and guest speakers over the course of that weekend, a few did catch my eye and held my attention. One such as J.Caress Studios, which carries a full line of beautifully designed LGBTQ greeting cards. The art work and dedication that went into making them and showcasing them at the show caused a lot of interest among the hundreds of show goers that weekend. Cine-Kink also had a booth there a well, reminding everyone that it is more than just OK to get your “KINK” on and enjoy it to the fullest! CineKink’s Lisa Vandever was on hand to greet everyone and let them know about upcoming events.

Pleasure Chest NY had a booth as well as many others that where more than happy to give out free samples of goodies varying from candy to lubes and condoms.

 Doc Johnson’s booth was always crowded the entire weekend as they were raffling off all sorts of goodies and showcasing the entire line of toys.

The Sexual Health Expo (SHE Expo) granted full access to dozens of workshops, a full exhibition floor with a wide range of pleasure products and goodie bags for the first 2000 attendees, where couples learned more about the latest in toys and pleasure their partners without feeling out of place. I had the pleasure of speaking to many of reps  in depth about their product lines as well as a  sneak peek to items only available at the  show.

All in all, I had a wonderful time learning more about what makes us tick sexually and what things change us as we are all sexual creatures. For a first timer at the show, it was more like going to the EXXXOTICA without the porn stars and just an entire showroom full of toys! I can’t wait till next year to see what the Expo has in store of all of us!
