Katie Morgan interview

 

 

It is a big "get" for Vivid Radio to have the amazing and talented Katie Morgan as one of their radio hosts. She has already proven from her work on HBO that she can engage her viewers and conduct a very informative discussion as well as make it fun and entertaining. She really knows how to run a show and make her guests feel so comfortable that it allows them to be more open and honest. It is also a blessing that Katie is making adult films again. Her passionate scenes were sorely missed when she left, but now her fans can rejoice and get turned on by this beautiful star.

Hi Katie, it is great that you have your own successful Vivid radio show. What do you want your listeners to get from your show?

I want listeners to my new www.VividRadio.com show to have fun, be entertained, feel excited and maybe even be informed. Fans of "Having Sex, With Katie Morgan" can call in and participate in the show with questions or stories on whatever we're talking about. I'm on every Wednesday with "Having Sex, With Katie Morgan" from 1-2 PT.

Your work on HBO has been very entertaining and informative. What are your thoughts and feelings about the work you did for them?

I'm proud of the nine shows I did for HBO. I love that they are still airing and new fans can see them for the first time.

Could you tell us about some of your most memorable experiences with your fans especially the heart-warming ones where they gave you much credit for their successful sex lives and relationships?

I've had lots of great experiences with fans over the years. I always love when couples come and tell me that I help their sex life in one way or another.

How did you find out that Vivid wanted you as a host for one of their radio shows?

I ran into Vivid at AVN this past January. That was when they approached me about doing the show.

How did you feel when you first returned on set for your first sex scene after coming out of retirement?

I was really excited to be on set for my first scene back in the industry. I never got to work with Lexington Steele the first time around, and I always wanted to. It was a super big welcome back for me!

Who are some of your all time favorite performers who you have worked with during your career?

Oh God! There are so many! My all time favorites are still Evan Stone and Steven St. Croix. Since I've been back I've made some new friends Seth Gamble, Johnny Castle, and Van Wylde. There are some awesome performers in this industry, I'm really enjoying how competitive the guys are now.

When and how did you enter the adult industry?

I got into the industry in 2001. I was out on bail on federal importation charges, and I was bored and watching a lot of porn. One day while watching a Shane's World party movie, it occurred to me that they weren't having any fun, they were getting paid too. I did some research and a few days later walked into Jim South's office and told him I wanted to be a porn star.

In your opinion, what has been the biggest change in this industry since you entered it?

The biggest change I've seen in the industry is better testing! Not only do we test more often, we test for more STIs. When I first started we tested every 30 days with a panel of 3, today we are testing every 14 days with a panel of 7. I've said it before and I''ll say it again, the safest sex is tested. Know your status! Tested is sexy.

Are you a dog or cat person?

I am a dog and cat person, and everything else too! I ran a pet store before I got into the industry, I love all creatures. I have dogs, cats, birds, turtles, frogs, ferret, sugar gliders, and a wallaby. It's a bit of a zoo at my house.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I guess my main hobby is pets, they keep me pretty busy at home. I also love gambling and night life, living in Vegas is a lot of fun!

Fans can always find me on social media. My Twitter and FaceBook are both verified @thekatiemorgan I also have Instagram @Katiemorganxoxox . I post sexy pics, and also regular life pics too, pets, food, and whatever else I might get up to. I run my own socials, no one else is posting pretending to be me.
