2014 XCritic Award Nominees

These XCritic Award Nominations are selected by the staff of XCritic.com. Each XCritic reviewer nominates the talent, titles and directors for each category from the thousands of titles reviewed on XCritic in 2014.  The XCritic Awards were an extensive process that spanned the better part of a month and included re-viewing of many titles.

This year we decided to do things a little bit different. Many of the major awards seem to slice and dice things into too many sub-genre's, which is great in some ways but it doesn't really help distill down the best of the best. With the decline in Porn Parodies we've decided to fold the categories into best feature, acting and performing. A good parody should be able to compete against a good featre.

We've also folded in Interracial and Ethnic releases, although the adult industry can often be very black and white, we feel that sex between black and white performers isn't a sub genre, it's just sex.  And good sex is good sex, no matter what the ethnicity of the performers.
