A girl-girl performer who should receive more exposure is Sophia Jade. Her fondness for the ladies is a genuine feeling that shows on screen well. You can definitely tell that Sophia gets into it with much desire. Hi Sophia, how long have you been in the industry? How did you get started in it?

I am hitting three years. I was initially a softcore glamour model, but I guess I realized at one point I didn't really have any qualms exposing my sexuality on camera. I've always been attracted to women as well, but I am not assertive so I wouldn't really be getting hook ups with the girls. Now they are just handed to me. It's great!

I wish more critics and fans were more exposed to your amazing all-girl work. What is it about the ladies that makes you so fond of them and gets you so turned on?

Being with a woman has this softness that a man cannot really compare to. The experience is often times mutually pleasurable while being with the wrong man. It can be more about one person than the other *cough*

There is much more to grab, feel, touch and smell on a girl. It's beautiful and sensual.

What makes a woman sexy? What traits do you admire in a woman?

I typically like girls who are bad ass and who know how to put one in their damn place! Ballbusters!

What did you do before you entered the adult film world?

I never had a normal job in my entire life besides babysitting.

When was the first time you kissed a girl? When was the first time that you had sex with a woman?

I've kissed girls plenty of times in high school while I was drunk, but usually they were straight and only wanted to do it to look hot for the guys. Or I don't know. I'm not assertive so I never really take first steps. The first time I ever been with a woman was on camera and it was Molly Cavalli at Mollyslife.com. I've hooked up with girls off camera since then though.

What makes a man sexy? What traits do you admire in a man?

I've always been told by those I know that I have very extreme tastes although those types of extremities will vary during certain stages. They all must be eccentric. Right now, I prefer boys who are more submissive and feminine, but in the past it has been the complete entire opposite.

What has been the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry since you have started?

There has been a lot of changes in it throughout the the three years I've been in it, but it seems like there may be more girls doing it today than there ever has been.

Could you tell us the first time that a fan recognized you?

I've gotten creepy guys following me in the airport then tweeting to me later, but one time I was having coffee with my friends and some overly excited fan in a foreign accent came up and was like "SOPHIA in LA." It freaked my friends the hell out.

How were you as a kid?

I was a bit of a tomboy, a bit anti-social, but I would still party a lot. I also took AP classes. Multiple personality. Same as now.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Fashion Design which is what I am currently studying, Drawing, Painting, Fine Arts, Traveling ,Music, Films, Books - All these things matter greatly to me and if another person doesn't have these similar interests, we just can't be friends.

Are you a cat or dog person? Do you have any pets?

I love all animals. I grew up having a dog, but I don't have any pets. I'd like a horse.

Are there any particular adult stars that you want to be paired up with in the future?

There are some girls I worked with in the past that I really wish I'd get paired up with again including: Lena Nicole, Yurizan Beltran, Capri Cavanni, and Celeste Star but I also really like to work with Nicole Aniston, Bree Daniels, and Aaliyah Love in the the future.

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?

The sex ... duh! I probably wouldn't have much of a sex life without it. And let's face it. We are all attention whores here too so the interaction with the fans. The transformation from being dorky girl to glammed up and the flexible hours.

What does your family think about you being an adult performer?

My mom is cool with it and that's the only person in my family whose opinion matters to me.

Is it easy for you to make friends with other adult performers?

It was never easy for me to make friends, but I made some great acquaintances and a couple of good friends.

What is your shoe size?

Are there any films that you are working on right now? Are there any web sites or future projects that you would like to promote?

Working on a few things. Definitely going to start a paysite in the future, but we all know those take forever. Not sure when things come out sometimes, but I've shot with Violet Monroe recently for Pussy Eating Club, one of my favorite companies to work with and I also shot recently with one of my favorite photographers who I literally started my whole career with, Holly Randall for a bondage book to be released by Quiver Books this Fall. I'm definitely looking forward to that.
