My Top Films of 2012

As the year has wrapped up and we are right into 2013, it's that time to make my top ten movies that I got to review for Xcritic. It looks like I reviewed around 90 titles this year, and there were some great movies in there, along with some stinkers. But you don't want to read about the bad ones, so let's get to the best movies of 2012. I do also need to point out, there were many big titles that I did not get to review, with the large number of reviewers, sometimes you don't always get to see everything you want.

As I look through my reviews, it looks like 8 movies got our highest rating, and 22 got our second highest rating. And that means I get the rough job of picking 2 out of those 22 movies to fill up my top ten, which is going to be harder than numbering 1-8. But here we go...

#10 Celeste Star's The Teen Hunter

This was one of those movies that surpassed what I was expecting, fairly new company to me, with a few familar faces, but a few new favorites due to this movie.

#9 Ultimate Fuck Toy: Riley Reid

I was a little behind on the knowing about this lovely lady, and this was a great introduction to her. A very memorable, and nominated scene with Riley, Lily and Jules.

#8 Best New Starlets 2012

For me, this seemed to be the year of Elegant Angel, and we started off with a great movie involving the lovely ladies who were the rookie class of last year, and what a great class of rookies it was.

#7 Big Wet Asses 21

Yet another Elegant Angel movie, and was part of the trio of movies I reviewed, that all got our highest rating.

#6 Dani Daniels' Yoga Instructor

You can also say that Dani Daniels was also a major highlight for 2012, as we started the year with her in the G/G scene and we end the year with her entering into the B/G scenes.

#5 Craving 2

I was always a huge fan of Wicked Pictures, and it seemed like I didn't get to review as many of their titles as I had in previous years. Solid release, and a very sexy twist on your well known fairy tales.

#2 Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody

I did not review this one, mostly due to it getting 2 reviews already, all our highest rating and didn't want to sound like a broken record. It's Star Wars, which is a huge plus to me, and written by people who you can tell love Star Wars just as much.

There should be no surprise that this was the top of my list, it was one of my most anticipated movies, and I am so happy it didn't dissapoint. It has one of the most amazing and memorable scenes (the finale) and it just looks gorgeous, and I am not just talking about the Lilys. This may not be for everyone, but with any of these movies I listed, all that I hope, is that you will give each of them a viewing and see if you agree or don't agree with me.
