It's been a while since I have added to my blog, the time wasn't right, but now it seems to be.
Why I think anyone gives a shit what I'm doing or even matters is a constant mystery to me, but here I go.
After 20 years of living, breathing and bleeding Vivid, we have parted ways.
I would especially like to thank Jim Kohls and Mark Hamilton from Pulse who are two stand up guys and had my back on more than 10 occasions.
It was a pleasure to work with and for them.
It seems after all these years, the fun is over. We used to have such a good time in this business, it was exciting, fresh and we were all rock stars, or at least partied like them. I loved this business. I had the occasion to meet Hollywood stars and music people I never would have met. Imagine, walking into your booth and there was Tony Curtis, Buck Henry, Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies, Richard Anderson, Evel Knivel, Jim Brown and God knows how many more.
It was great being with a company that I joined on the ground floor, helped build, and turned into number one on the porno food chain.
Ahh, the good old days. The glory days.
But those days are over, with the internet and the cheapening of the product, the whores selling for nothing, it has all taken a toll on DVD sales and my well being.
Now it's time to turn the pages, I have come to find that if you still produce great product, sales still can be great. This is evident with product such as Justice Leagure of Porn Star Heros, the numbers were significant.
So I opened Exile Distribution, I signed up Penthouse, Paul Thomas Productions, Erocktavision and a new company called Pleasure Dynasty.
Paul Thomas is working on a parody of The Graduate, which will be a five star instant classic, Pleasure Dynasty just wrapped Taxi Driver A Porn Parody with Tommy Pistol, Jesse Andrews, Chanel Preston, Lily laBeau, Evan Stone, Bill Baily, Misty Stone and Ron jeremy, and oh yeah, my second ever non sex acting role as Martin Scorsesse angry man in the Taxi cab. I was pretty good too, if I do say so myself.
There is life after Vivid afterall.
I am doing pretty well and I have to make my own excitement in this business.
Thanks for all your support.
