Hi Sunny, you are always a starlet who can be depended upon in delivering an amazing performance. For those fans who are not aware of you, how long have you been in the industry, what have been your most pleasurable moments so far? What has been your least pleasurable?
I have been in the adult industry for five years. After my hopes of competing and coaching in ice skating were dashed due to a foot injury, I got into yoga and pilates instruction before walking into a Deja Vu Gentelman's Club in Tampa, Florida to perform on stage for the first time. I gained popularity instantly and ended up being named Deja Vu's Showgirl of the Year for 2004. All of a sudden, I appeared on HBO's "Cathouse" tv series. In 2005, I was named Nightmoves Calendar Cover Girl.
My most memorable moments have been the ability to show that I can continue to be an entertainer and to express myself in many ways. I am able to let myself go; to show my energy and light shine on my fans through the screen. I love POV because I get to talk to the camera for my fans and it is in the first person. It is a way to be closer to them. As to the least pleasurable moments, I really dislike the "play for pay" mindset of many girls. They do not get themselves totally involved into the scene like other women who really enjoy getting off with other ladies. I dont' like it when the only thing that is motivating them is the financial rewards rather than the personal and feminine reward of being with another woman. I really enjoy the authenticity of the moment and not faking it.
How did you get started in the adult industry?
I went to the AVN Awards show and I dressed up very nicely. Serenity gave me a ticket for the show. Afterwards, I went to Sean MIchaels' party and received a card from Mr. Hirsch from Playboy who said that "You have the look that we want." Then, I was booked to appear on Playboy TV and Radio. Other opportunities started to roll my way.
Currently, you are having a remarkable career with your work in the XCritic Pick Not Airplane XXX: Flight Attendants, Women Seeking Women 58, and Battle of the Asses 2. Your upcoming role in the movie Alice (in Wonderland) with the studio Metro should be another incredible outing and will help them garner buzz and accolades as they continue with their highly anticipated comeback. What does it mean to you that the industry's movers and shakers have so much confidence and reverence in your acting skills and professionalism?
Wow! It makes me feel so good to hear that. I am very particular on who I am paired with and what studio to film with. I want to make sure that I put on a very good performance so that I don't ever cheat myself or my fans. I want to get to the next level so that means to always get better. I'm a go-getter. I love what I do. I'm an entertainer. As in Not Airplane XXX and the upcoming Not Airplane XXX 2, I love getting off.
How was filming Alice (in Wonderland)? It must have been a lot of fun in making an adult version of a beloved fairy tale?
What's so neat is that everybody says that I look like Alice. As a matter of fact, as soon as director Erica McLean saw me, she said that "You're my Alice" and I got the role. The art design, make-up, and wardrobe were high priorities on this production. At the end, it was cool in making me the Urban Alice.
You have remarkable sexual chemistry with both men and women. What traits of a woman do you admire most? What makes a woman sexy? What traits of a man do you admire most? What makes a man sexy?
I admire a man who is confident, but not cocky. He has a swagger to himself. Business men are sexy. As for the ladies, I admire everything about them. They are beautiful creatures. A sexy man smells good. Since I am a Southern girl, I like to treat my man right and he must treat me right too. A sexy woman is confident and smells good too. It also depends on how she dresses. It's also important that they do not compete with me. In other words, I like women who are comfortable in their own skin.
What was the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry when you started? How has the industry changed over the years?
The biggest surprise is how time flies when you are having loads of fun. Even though I have been in this business for five years, it feels like it was only yesterday when I started. It's gone so quick.
Are there any industry people (actors, actresses, directors, etc.)
who you have not had the opportunity to work with yet and want to very
badly and why? What would be your dream scene?
As for a director, I have always wanted to work with Andrew Blake. Tori Black and Peter North would be dreams to work with especially since I want his big load. I also want to work with that adult actor who looks like Superman.
How were you as a kid growing up?
I had a great childhood with very supportive parents. I was fun, happy, and a real go-getter. I got along with everybody. I'm an only child. I am very thankful of my childhood My parents will be celebrating their thirty-third wedding anniversary in August. They were hard-working parents who did everything so that I could skate.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I do yoga every day. I also enjoy behind the scenes activities on film production and working on my personal web site such as directing, shooting, creating content, and all of the interlockings that transforms. Also, I enjoy being in front of the camera too. Overall, it's the collective nature and an all process team that really makes my job fun.
What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?
I really enjoy being able to challenge myself in different directions. It's not all about the sex. I enjoy having all the markets (DVD, Internet, etc.) come together since this is my platform.
