During the past decade, porn had been seeping into the mainstream more and more. However, no one could had predicted the shock and awe that reverberated among the entertainment industry when a former Miss USA titleholder said that she was going to star in her own adult movie.

Kelli McCarty, Miss USA 1991 and actress of the popular soap opera Passions, decided on her own to delve into the porn world. Her curiosity, determination, and courage must be admired for taking this huge step which definitely worked out for the best. Her film Faithless from Vivid Entertainment was recently nominated for Best Video Feature and she for Best Actress. Kelli McCarty has opened the door even wider and it will be great to see who else will follow in her shoes. Read our interview with Kelli McCarty.
