Lunch with the folks from Real Touch and Lisa Ann

On Dec 4th,  I had the pleasure of having  lunch with the  multi-talented Lisa Ann , who was in  New York  as the  spokesperson for  Real Touch a  high  tech  toy  for  men from AEBN. I got to  see the product  up front and  the  demo  thanks to Scott Rinaldo the  product Manager,  Naturally  curious about the  high price  men's  toy  I did  ask a few  question and  voiced a few  concerns to them. Which  Steve Goldberg and Brett Drysdale were  quick to answer and  explain about the  product and the   demand  already f or it in the  adult market. With the  adult toy  market directed primarily to  women, today men have  their own  high  tech toy they  can use while watching  specially  encoded VOD with their favorite adult  performer. PC user friendly and  currently available for use with Windows, it  strokes the entire  length of a man's penis stimulating the  feeling  of "real  sex" hands free.

Currently it has close to  600 scenes adding more to its  collection. Another plus is that there is no need  for a  condom , though to get  the total  experience use of a  water based lube is required and is  also include  in the packaging. They  did  stress that the unit as with  any adult toy on the market is  NOT dishwasher  safe or  machine  washable and that it  should not  be completely  submerged. Introduced  back in  Jan 2009 at the  AEE and  at the CES men can now  enjoy  their  porn even more.

 With  47 different  countries  already  interest in the product and a huge   US response  thanks to  xpeeps.com, the company is looking to  corner the male market  . My  first  concern was the  price point off  $199.00 to  which  I asked will  consumers actually  pay  that  much  for a male  toy, the  reply  was Yes, shown in  three adult   consumer  shows  there was a  Wow  factor  response with no  hesitation on the  price point.

Real Touch  has made a lasting impression in the  adult toy  market as  well with NY's talk show  host  Howard Sterns who  spoke  very highly of  it, At  first  glance its  oblong  shape does look a bit off and some what intimidating  to me but  as I  watch the  demo and  placed to  fingers  inside the unit it  did leave a  tingling  feeling on them.

What  was once  just  an  after thought in someone's mind after  watching  Woody Allen's  The Sleeper has now   become a reality for  men.  I did  ask if in the  future they were looking to market the same idea and technology in a  women's  toy and  they said  it is in the  works  for now.

As  a  woman watching the demo and  listening  to them talk about  their product with  such  high esteem, I can say that the Real Touch  is  something  that will  have the  curious wondering  on the  how  to's and  just how much  pleasure one  can  derive from it,  I will say that  did  see  a lot of   interest at it at the  launch party that night  over  at Rick's Cabaret which you can  read  about in my next  blog  posting as  well as my interview with  Lisa Ann!
