Spotlight Title: The Pinch

B. Skow is the best director at Vivid Entertainment
for those that enjoy watching sex, his newcomer series scoring
accolades all over the world and his all sex titles among the best the
company has offered in years. That said, the company has long been
regarded as a couples feature producer with a slew of directors trying
their hand at blending not only sex but plotted dialogue too, this
market niche growing increasingly narrow as fans flock to gonzo porn.
So, we know that Skow can handle the easy stuff but what about the more
difficult features that many consider full of FFF (fast forward
fodder)? Thankfully, when given room to expand the concept, the
director opts not to truncate the sexual aspects of his works like some
old school directors have, he instead provides the best of both worlds
with longer sex scenes that generate the kind of heat the market
demands as well as cute little stories that feature lovers can
appreciate. His latest such effort is called The Pinch,
starring Meggan Mallone, where a man with a porn reviewer sized cock
struggles to find love while battling all the usual hurdles. Frankly, I
know the director prefers to leave features to his ill equipped peers
at the company but this twisted version of mainstream's "Shallow Hal"
was a huge hit with me and a few friends that laughed more than a few
times, the kink being we were laughing when we were supposed to laugh,
not laughing at the movie itself. The movie was able to successfully blend the plotted portions with the sex to
provide the best of both worlds. My tolerance for poorly crafted
features has certainly waned over recent years so I was half expecting
this to end up like another PT flick but Skow came through in spades,
partially thanks to Voodoo's solid acting efforts but the rest of the
cast handling their duties in a better than average manner too. Of
particular note was Nick Manning's egotistical hypnotist that suited
him exceptionally well but as much as the cover made me think this
might be another "Vivid-Alt" project, it was creatively well ahead of
the pack to the point where I rated it as Highly Recommended.
The amounts of strokability, replay value, and fuck for the buck were
substantial so even those with a quick trigger finger on their remote
controls might want to ease up a bit and enjoy the movie. In short, The Pinch (Meggan Mallone) was a lot of fun with plenty of heated sex between the players, most of them showing some chemistry along the way.

Digital Playground
is one of the last holdouts in the industry when it comes to
compilations, preferring to get fans to buy their back catalog titles
rather than sacrifice them to trend set by their peers of unleashing
scores of scenes thematically tied but lacking anything new. Well,
starting next month, they take their first step in that direction,
bundling five scenes by popular porn hotties Teagan Presley and Jenna
Haze in Teagan Vs. Jenna from the Handheld Pictures line so
many gonzo fans have come to appreciate. For those that will inevitably
ask, none of

the scenes were new, none of them appeared to be edited
from their originals, and all of them starred either Teagan or Jenna
with none of the filler so many other companies seem content with
slipping into their own compilations. Jenna was given the bulk of
scenes this time, 60% of them featuring her while only 40% had Teagan,
but I'd be lying if I said either of them let me down in this package.
If sales warrant it, this may be the beginning of further compilations
from the label, or even actual Digital Playground titles, my preference
for original material being included weighed against the benefits of
dedicated fans picking up just what they want rather than what amounts
to filler (for them) as well. I'd have tried a single star featured
first myself, maybe even getting the lady to introduce them herself in
newly shot material as well as add in some form of new bonus footage or
solo scene but this will be your chance to weigh in on the company
following industry trends instead of blazing forth as a leader (such as
they have with high definition Blu-ray releases). It combined some scenes from the Control and the Filth Cums First series
nicely enough, featuring Teagan Presley and Jenna Haze in all of the
five scenes included here. Both ladies some fine work here with Jenna
providing the most enthusiasm, chemistry, and energy but Teagan coming
in a decent second place so I rated it as Recommended. In short, Teagan Vs. Jenna was a bold first step towards releasing compilations in a depressed
market, perhaps also following their peers by lowering the MSRP as
others have done to allow fans to get a look at just how nasty the
Handheld Pictures line has been, providing raincoaters fans with the
kind of hardcore smut they might never have believed possible from such
a couples friendly parent company. If you're a fan of Jenna Haze and
Teagan Presley, you will appreciate the substantial amounts of fuck for
the buck offered up for your repeated viewing. I'd tweak future efforts
a little bit more but the selection of scenes showed some care worthy
of praise so check it out.

Highlights of The Week

Lee Roy Myers is currently riding the wave of popularity for his sitcum parodies released by New Sensations.
While still trying to find the right rhythm for such shows, some of my
associates claim he is only a couple notches down from the infamous
crew at X-Play, the award winning duo that currently dominates the
market in terms of providing the best movies in the

genre. I admit that
I liked Scrubs better than The Office
and the ever present learning curve faced by all directors proves once
again that experience helps with upgrading the results as I sat down to
enjoy Seinfeld: A XXX Parody: 2 Disc Collector's Set this past
weekend. The original show helped propel Jerry Seinfeld into the
national spotlight, the show about "nothing" a hit for years on network
television. In Myers pornified rendition of the show, he takes several
of the more sexually oriented episodes from the series and spins them a
few notches deeper, the end result the best effort by the team to date.
James Deen took the lead as "Gerry" and unlike some of his past feature
work, he seemed well suited for this role, as did Eric John as
"Crammer", Kristina Rose as "Elaina", and Steve Pomerantz as "Gorge". It was my favorite movie by the director on a few levels, easily earning a rating of Recommended
from this sitcum devotee. Sure, a few of the characters were ill
equipped for their roles (either in terms of playing the characters or
having sex) but James did a passable Jerry, Kristina did a good Elaine,
and Steve's George was a lot better than expected. Eric could have
polished up his Kramer and other than Evan's Porn Nazi (as well as J.
Walker's Noman), the rest of the cast were largely disposable. I got
the impression the script was written quickly with few revisions and
about half the sex scenes had little replay value for me but
ultimately, I think the director is getting better with each release.
He might not be much of a threat to the X-Play duo's efforts yet, but
he is better situated to challenge them than any other director in the
field given what I've seen so far. In short, Seinfeld: A XXX Parody: 2 Disc Collector's Setwas as entertaining a sitcum as I've seen all month , the extras
package and leads showing some acting chops that could lead to bigger
and better things. If you like sitcum porn parodies, you could do far,
far worse than this one...

Mike John
has long been established as one of the best POV (point of view)
directors in all of porn, bringing a sense of heat, wonder, and
enthusiasm where so many of his peers just follow his lead in a
halfhearted manner. Over the years, his reputation has preceded him and the number of copycats grown to epic proportions, but Mike is the
original as far as his fans are concerned. His latest fuck flick making
it my way is a compilation of ten scenes, most of them coming from his
well received POV Pervert series, a double disc movie called POV Overdose 2: Special Edition.
With retired hotties like Lanny Barby, Penny Flame, Paulina James, and
many more worthy women, Mike revisits his scenes in such a way that he
reminds us all of just how sexy they could be sucking his genetic juice
out of his Nutsack. It was extremely lengthy (lasting over five hours!) and provided some of
his best work in the POV field he so dominates so I rated it as Recommended
or better, depending on how familiar you are with the scenes (and
women) themselves. Since I have virtually all of them, I admit that I'm
biased as wanting all new material and finding myself disappointed that
the double disc set was not labeled as a compilation but that is one of
the reasons reviews exist in the first place, serving to inform people
when production companies are unwilling to keep us all posted. Still,
you could do a lot worse than picking up a copy of POV Overdose 2: Special Edition,
at least if you don't have the scenes already, since the action was
often very solid (and shot well enough to be ahead of its time (pun
intended).

B. Skow is the catalyst at Vivid Entertainment
these days, bringing with him a sense of renewal as a director that the
company has needed for a long time. While not exactly the fault of
their remaining directorial staffer, the company continued to follow a
set path for far too long, growing complacent even before the industry
found itself in dire economic straits. Thankfully, Skow is equally
proficient with gonzo as well as all sex vignette efforts, his best
work being the manner in which he brings newcomers into the industry or
his showcase titles that feature the contracts stars so many fans
adore. Such was the case with his latest title, Hanna's House,
a title best described as a tribute to lovely Hanna Hilton, though the
other ladies certainly added some appeal as well. The back cover
described the movie like this: "B. Skow followed Hanna around her house
for a few days and shot everything in sight. Hanna has sex every
morning with her man, and it's raunchy, uninhibited and totally wild.
She has beautiful, natural d-cups and an ass sculpted by the gods. At
around noon, she has friends over, and the sex pretty much continues
all day. Meggan Mallone, Alyssa Hall, Rayveness, you name it...they all
come over and they never stop coming. This is reality sex at it's
finest." It might not have been his best work to date but I gave serious consideration to rating it even higher than Recommended.
The sex was fun, frisky, and even solid in terms of replay value &
strokability but the quality of the men limited just how good the
performances could be. Still, Hanna was a hotty as was Meggan and the
other two ladies, the realistic audio track a nice surprise over the
overproduced scores so prevalent to porn these days. In short, Hanna's House provided two full scenes of Hanna Hilton getting busy, lengthy scenes
that will serve many of you repeatedly compared to the truncated "sex
gets in the way" type scenes Skow's peers at the company tend to shot
these days, the buildup of tension and chemistry pretty good to my way
of thinking.

Robby D.
is one of my favorite directors to both tease and praise at the same
time, the man's devotion to his hectic production schedule as the main
man at Digital Playground
legendary at this writing. I can write a book singing his praises and
two lines about where he needs to step up to the plate a little better
and guess what he'll focus on? In any case, I like so much of his work
these days that a fellow reviewer suggested I was Robby's personal
cheerleader, the truth being that the guy earns the accolades rather
than buys them from me as is all too often the case at other websites.
Next week he comes out with the latest installment of one of his
favorite series too with Cockasian 4. The drill with this one
is that it focuses strictly on Asian chicks and because it is in the
hardcore Handheld Pictures line, it lacks the heat-draining artistic
effects to concentrate on the gals working the knobs for some ball
draining fun. I'll be up front once more and say that I'm not a
slavering fanboy of Asians but I like a gal that can get into her scene
(or at least pretend to do so) regardless of her ethnicity so I went
into this lengthy (3+ hours) fuck flick with the knowledge that Robbie
tends to pick the best talent available. It began and ended on high notes, Katsuni a major force to be reckoned
with from what I could tell. The sheer amount of Asian fuck for the
buck was enough to elevate Cockasian 4 into a rating of Recommended,
the director showing he hasn't lost his touch when it comes to his
fetish for the ladies from the orient. In all then, it was just what
many of you will expect so check it out when you see it available next
week, Katsuni and Jessica Bangkok the best reasons for checking this
one out as a movie for your collection.

Lee Roy Myers has been hailed as New Sensations'
version of Will Ryder in terms of his porn parodies of late, my own
estimation of his skills showing him to be more likened to Hustler's
Stuart Canterbury or Anton Slayer. For me at least, his track record is
pretty short and lacking some of the production team needed to hit a
home run every time holds all of the pretenders to the throne back a
few notches though I admit he stepped up a bit when it came to Scrubs: A XXX Parody (SD & Blu-ray).
As the market gets saturated on the Sitcum parody craze (this has
happened before in porn mind you), the better directors and companies
will continue to make them work and I suspect that Myers will be among
the short list of those that make it, his first three titles all well
worth checking out. This time, the popular television sitcom played out
pretty well, the medical facility and outfits matching the level of
acting by the genuinely appealing cast. It was a lot of fun, managed to take the original style and pornify it
nicely, and the sex was sufficiently heated to merit a rating of Recommended
or better, depending on how much you enjoy the sitcum parody craze
sweeping porn these days. Personally, I thought the technical matters
could have been upgraded to a full 1080p and a better lighting guy
employed but would probably rate it a notch higher for myself given my
public support of the genre (I like the sitcums more than most people).
In short, Scrubs: A XXX Parody (SD & Blu-ray) benefitted by
the participation of the director, his crew, and performers like James
Deen, Ashlynn Brooke, Jack Lawrence, and a few of the others but the
rough edges were not smoothed out as well as they could have been, this
parody spoofing the original more than serving as a tribute to it but I
think most porn fans will enjoy watching it a time or three, perhaps
even rubbing one out on their own while watching.

Muffia
is one of those internet companies you may not heard of until recently
but they have been quietly getting better with all sorts of porn
offerings of late, the most interesting of which are their porn
parodies. Of all their collected websites though, I figured the one I
would least about was the subject of today's review of King Dong Vol. 1 .
The movie took six scenes from the website's archived footage and
placed them on DVD, providing a lot of fuck for the buck in the nearly
four hour fuck flick regardless of who the well endowed men were
supposed to be. With performers like Shyla Stylez, Capri Cavalli, and
Jenna Presley as but a few examples of the ladies, I wondered if any of
them would prove to be size queens but given the men of the cast
(Voodoo, Jordan Ash, Alec Knight, and one I didn't know), I felt secure
that the size issue was largely a figment of the advertising
department. It was a bit uneven in terms of sexual heat, chemistry, and passion but
the amount of fuck for the buck alone helped boost this one up to a Recommended
and I dare say that if the best scenes are yet to come as someone
suggested, follow up volumes might be even better in terms of
strokability, replay value, and all the things people like to see.
Please note though that some of the cocks in the show did not merit
realistic consideration for higher grading purposes, the concept of the
series itself needing larger cocks to rate much higher. In short, King Dong Vol. 1 had a mixture of cock sizes but a solid female cast of cuties that I
liked enough to overlook the size issue, the plentiful nature of the
footage helping me out too so check it out.

Digital Playground
is perhaps the most successful production company in porn these days,
their winning formula of letting director Robby D. loose to unleash his
creative perversions in various incarnations working more often than
not. That they have also been the only company to fully embrace the
advances in technology such as Blu-ray sure hasn't hurt my opinion of
them either, regardless of reported sales. Their latest title making it
my way is the upcoming Jack's POV 14 Blu-ray, the movie to be released at the end of this month on July 28. Like Jack's POV 13,
this one features a contract hotty, this time the sexy little Riley
Steele, complete with her enhanced chest and crystal clear blue eyes.
As expected, most of the footage shot was done in the point of view
fashion so the viewer could fantasize about boning the babes himself,
though there was again a departure from holding too strictly to this
approach for those purists demanding 100% POV. In any case, with a cast
including Alexis Texas, Kristina Rose, Codi Carmichael, Nicole Ray, and
Riley Steele, the bets that this fuck flick would trip my trigger
remained very high. It was full of hot women giving exciting performances so I rated it as Highly Recommended
within the genre. I would have appreciated better extras, more tease,
and a stricter adherence to the POV camera angle but I can't deny that
each of the ladies present gave 110% to make this one of the best
volumes in the series to date. Kristina Rose led the pack with Alexis
Texas close behind (pun intended) but even Codi Carmichael, Nicole Ray,
and Riley Steele seemed to be in rare form as they fucked and sucked
their way into inspiring the intended effect. In short, Jack's POV 14 had a lot of POV fuck for the buck and surpassed Jack's POV 13
in terms of quality sexual misconduct, the movie certainly proving what
I've been saying about the director for years now as far as how his
talents can enhance a production. The high definition version was a
nice looking upgrade too, the details and resolution enhanced
significantly to make the action more life like, meriting serious
consideration if you have the equipment to handle it.

Jonni Darkko's association with Evil Angel
has long proven a fruitful one, his works upgraded almost out of the
gate from his previous employer and moving on up from there. While most
of his colleagues dedicate themselves to quantity (in the form of
double disc sets), Jonni seems content to polish up his single disc
releases with his unique sense of rhythm, music, and the all important
casting of people that work well together. His latest release is Boob Bangers 6: The MILFs, the sequel to Boob Bangers 5
that some of you praised so hardily online last year. The emphasis was
on showcasing major performers possessing large breasts as always but
he added in the MILF dimension where the gals had to be older and
thicker, if not truly "mothers" in the classic sense. As far as I'm
concerned, any cast starring Gianna, Lisa Ann, Jayden James, and
Phoenix Marie is one I can jerk off repeatedly to so I was more than
happy to check this one out this past weekend. It started off extremely strong thanks to Gianna, Lisa Ann, Jayden James,
and Phoenix Marie but the final two scenes struck me as second tier so
I rated the movie a solid Recommended. Jonni knows how to pick
the cream of the crop so I attribute this oversight to a rush job or
someone flaking, the MILF dynamic limiting just who could come in for
the action anyway. In short, Boob Bangers 6: The MILFs, like Boob Bangers 5
before it had some highly prized action and some okay action, the
better scenes making the weaker ones look very much out of place
(though strokable they may have been).

To be honest, I had low expectations for POPPORN: The Guide to Making
Fuck. History hasn't been kind to non-porn directors (or rather
non-porn non-directors in Spock Buckon's case) trying to cross over to
make porn films. While I enjoy the short videos on Popporn.com I had a
hard time imagining how they'd translate to a full blown porn. I was pleasantly surprised to find that POPPORN: The Guide to
Making Fuck is a lot better than I expected. The film manages to
capture a lot of the fun and antics of the Popporn crew while at the
same time being an engaging and stimulating porn. A lot of the credit
here probably needs to be heaped on Mike Quasar who seems to have
shepparded the Popporn crew through their first production. But what works so well with POPPORN: The Guide to Making Fuck is
Spock Buckton, not only is Spock a likable guy but his jovial whit
seems to be contagious and results in scenes where the performers seem
to be having a really good time. This turns POPPORN: The Guide to
Making Fuck into a nearly three hour romp with great sex with
performers having a blast and a fun story that stitches it all
together.
The first effort from Popporn is much better than I expected. As a
spoof POPPORN: The Guide to Making Fuck is fun, funny and entertaining.
The humor hits its mark and the fun tone carries through the entire
film (even the sex scenes). I enjoyed the cameo from Nina Hartley but
would have loved to seen more action between her and Spock Buckton.
Buckton doesn't 'perform' in this film, but I think it's a line he's
going to have to cross in future endeavors. A mini scene with Gianna
would have been fantastic.
While my expectations for the first Popporn movie was pretty low,
my expectations for the next will be pretty high. They've delivered at
a pretty high level for their debut and I expect great things from them
in the future.

Harry Johnson found a couple of worthy titles to check out such as Gangbang Auditions #23: Do you like gangbangs? How about watching hot girls getting their holes
stuffed with more cocks than you can shake a stick at? I suppose the
two kind of go hand in hand, but Gangbang Auditions #23 definitely has
a lot to offer if you're a lover of the genre. Stars such as Rebeca
Linares, Mya Nichole, and Dakoda Brookes bring their A game to their
auditions and it's safe to say that this is one of the better entries
of the series. Granted this is mostly due to the presence of Linares
and my personal preference towards her, but regardless this is an allaround good release with some hot action that deserves to be checked
out!
If you enjoy gangbangs and have appreciated other installments of
Gangbang Auditions, then the 23rd entry will give you plenty of bang
for your buck. There may only be three scenes here, but Rebeca, Mya,
and Dakoda all churn out amazing performances. Add to that the fact
that each of the scenes will last longer than you will and you have a
release that's worthy of any gangbang fan's collection. There isn't a
single bad part in any of these three scenes and I must tip my hat to
Sid Knox for directing such a fantastic release; and Model House: Despite the fact that it's a straightforward porn with gonzo sex, Model
House is a rather unique release. The show is full of quirky bits,
personality, and production quality that speaks to the mind of a
director looking to do something different. It's upbeat, interesting,
and features a lot of banter between the cast. They play around a lot
and it really just seems to be a release where the people wanted to
have a lot of fun. Not that having sex isn't fun, but yeah, you know
what I mean. At any rate the sex is actually quite good and stands out
at many points during this show. Model House is a rather straightforward show with five scenes, six
girls, and some simple, hot sex. If that's all you need then you'll be
quite pleased with this release. Personally I enjoyed the fact that, in
addition to the quality sex and hot girls, the show had a ton of
personality. In each scene there's some charm to it and there's an
upbeat quirkiness that you simply don't find in porn. I felt it made
the release stand out, even though the content itself is nothing but
plain good sex.

Apache Warrior also dedicated some time to bringing us a few winners like Road Queen Part 9: the ninth installment in the very popular
and successful Road Queen series. It stars Deauxma who is one of the
most heralded actresses in the history of Girlfriends Films. She plays
a stripper who travels across the desert Southwest in her custom,
purple Ford automobile. Despite having several competing studios
attempt to capture significant market share in the lesbian adult video
industry in recent times, Girlfriends Films continues to be the leading
force. Their motto is to offer the viewer "simply the most realistic
sex in lesbian adult video" that has ever been filmed. For a movie that has been a long awaited installment in the popular
Road Queen series, it's a mixed bag. The first three scenes and
pairings are very sensual and the viewer can sense a strong bond being
created between the women as the scene kept on progressing. Dia Zerva
and Claire Adams need to be singled out for their playful behavior and
creativity. Rayveness has charisma to spare. She has star power and
oozes sexuality on the screen. However, it's unfortunate that Deauxma,
the star of the series, did not have a lengthy love scene. This
occurance will disappoint many of her fans and especially the fans of
this series. Nevertheless, I recommend this movie; and American Swingers : directed by award-winning legend Paul
Thomas. He also wrote the fine screenplay. It comes from the number one
studio Vivid Entertainment. Although Monique Alexander is billed as the
lead performer, it's important to note that the stars and standouts in
this movie are Lorena Sanchez and Tee Reel. Lorena and Tee play a
married couple who are trying to get ahead the old-fashioned way by
hard work. Tee's boss played by Alex Gonz is a swinger along with his
wife Monique Alexander. Eva Angelina and Justin Magnum play their
swinging friends. Everyone thinks that Tee's wife Eva is one hot woman
who they would like to have a piece of. As one can tell by the title,
the movie focuses on the swinging lifestyle. However, Tee and Eva are
very reluctant to enter that type of world. Mr. Thomas' script enhances
the bond between the characters of Tee and Eva. The viewer can sense a
great love connection between them. Despite the hype that this is an
inter-racial movie, it does not feel like one even though several
ethnic races do have sex together. American Swingers is a nice couples movie. The chemistry and
bond between Tee Reel and Lorena Sanchez is the foundation to this
feature. They portray themselves as a regular hardworking and loving
couple that could easily be your next door neighbors. On account of
this likable persona by Tee Reel and Lorena Sanchez, the inter-racial
aspects of this movie are not in the forefront.

We end this look at the best in porn by checking out those titles recommended by the Mooninite such as the third in what we can assume is an ongoing series, Cock Happy 3 is more or less in the same vein as the first two Cock Happyreleases from Belladonna/Evil Angel. No surprise there. It's Belladonna
getting down and dirty with the dudes, something she doesn't do on
camera that often these days. Cock Happy 3 is the best of the three entries in the line sofar. It's a nice mix of harder edged stunt-fucking and more traditional
guy-girl XXX smut. Belladonna's fans will be happy to see her in all
six scenes and this release comes recommended, Belladonna's Toy Box Touted on the cover as 'a couples guide to sexual communication' this
three disc set is nothing more than a lot of girl on girl action with
an emphasis put on sex toys. Not that you hear me complaining, I mean,
look at the cast. Kimberly Kane? Gianna Michaels? Alexis Texas? Bella's
surrounded herself with some great talent here and the proof, as they
say, is in the pudding. Or poon as it were. Once you get past the not so subtle plugs for Belladonna's sex toy line, Toy Box works and it works well. It's all girl on girl action so those who need
actual cock in their porn won't dig this but fans of extreme lesbian
highjinks will have no problem getting into this one at all; and Jack's Asian Adventure (Blu-ray): Robby D's take on goofy Asian gonzo smut is a good one and it all
started here. Shot with a keen eye for composition and with a fun sense
of humor, Jack's Asian Adventure is a solid entry from Digital
Playground that makes porno fun. The girls look good and perform just
as well, while the guys all turn in admirably workmanlike efforts on
their end as well. The typically lush Digital Playground production
values ensure that the movie always looks nice and slick, even if this
isn't particularly 'reality based' porn and really, if Asian chicks are
your thing, you'll want to take a look. Jack's Asian Adventure is a nice mix of hot hardcore action and
some welcome playful humor. The movie is well shot, very well cast, and
performed with quite a bit of genuine enthusiasm. The extras are weak
but the transfer is typically strong from Digital Playground and this
Blu-ray release comes recommended.
