(Clearwater, FL/A Entertainment News) - If you checked the schedule you would find a hundred parties that were scheduled to take place during the week of the Superbowl in Tampa Florida. The people at Nightmoves Magazine decided to throw one of them Wednesday night.
The gathering was held at the Flo Lounge, after seeing the place for the first time I would say it's more of an Ultra Lounge. I don't know if they have ultra lounges in Tampa but this in my opinion is one of them. The Flo was a nice place; white sheer drapes lined the VIP areas. The lighting tinted the areas in that cool, relaxing, softness you see in Miami all the time, but the Flo Lounge is in Tampa Bay. The Bar staff was dressed to impress, and the waitresses were beautiful.
We drove by another party on the same road at a place called the Venue, it seemed to be packed. It should be no surprise that everything is busy during the week of the Superbowl, but I am not sure the week is going to reach everyone's "Savior" Its not slow here, but its not an "Obama Crowd" either.
The Nightmoves party at the Flo was engaging, there were people in the lounge, drinks were "flo-ing" and there was a nice atmosphere in the room. DJ Eyeball was back in the booth, he has been a Tampa based record spinner for a good many of years now.
The night was capped of by a performance from Candyman who is a national recording artist and a Tampa resident. CandyMan's show is a fusion of a rap video and a strip show, complete with the mandatory groin grinding during the show. We can not forget his DJ/Emcee Butterbean. You have to have that guy on the side with that echo rap to make it good right?
As always during trip to the Tampa Bay area my friends from the Shady Bastards were deputized into the A Entertainment Crew and Greg was on spot again with some great pictures of the night.
I have to give a shot out to Tampa Bay's local porn star Christy Wild who came out and hung with us for a while, she is always the life a party for some reason.
I met a few really nice people during the night, and had a good time co hosting the evening with Tracy Allen from Nightmoves Magazine. It was the first event I attended since landing in Tampa. We have things planned the rest of the week leading up to Sunday and the Superbowl at Raymond James Stadium.
Tampa Bay needs a fulltime A! Crew... But are they ready?
