The Kamikaze Comedy Night At The Hollywood Improv: Now That Was Funny

(Hollywood, CA/ A Entertainment News)- On a cold Southern California Saturday night we made our way down to Hollywood to see our good friend and comedian Adam Hunter perform his Kamikaze Comedy show at  the Improv.

The show was packed with great comics and it was a celebration night of Hunter's Web show on Comedy.com with the same title. The comedy show clips which were recorded throughout the past year originally aired on the huge comedy site www.comedy.com . Hunter has also appeared on Chelsea Lately, Comedy Central and was in the finals on "The Last Comic Standing" show.

We were not surprised that the place was filled to capacity; we could tell it was going to be a great show and Adam did an excellent job at marketing the show to the fans and people in the industry all month long.

At our two tables right in the middle of the room we had an all star cast from the Mainstream, Comedy, and Adult industries. My friend and comic Jeffery Peterson who is one of the founders of the "California Chronicle XXX" magazine sat at our table. The monthly magazine runs an "A Entertainment News" column, Peterson is known as the "420 Comic". Beautiful starlet Angelica Lane also sat with us and her manager Satan J was there as well. One of my best friends in the industry Joanne from the Free Speech Coalition was the ring leader of the table.

Right next to us at the next table was Superstar Sunny Leone, she was just named one of the top ten American porn stars by Hustler Magazine, Regan Reese, who now has a re occurring role on the Sons Of Anarchy show was next to her, Rock and Roll guy Dave O, The legend Ron Jeremy, and Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof was at the table as well. The Bunny Ranch show "The Cathouse" has been on cable TV forever and justifiably, because it's a great show (it's a great place to go to).

The night was filled with fun, and the comedy on stage was excellent, everyone at our table was laughing so hard we almost hurt ourselves. The very funny Jamie Kennedy wrapped up the night as the headliner. The audience was filled with famous comics as well. If you have watched television in the past year you would probably would recognize half of the crowd in the room.

After the show was over we all stood outside for a bit as the valet was running way behind, I am sure this was a much bigger crowd than they were used to. Everyone decided that we should go over to Jerry's Deli for some food before we went home. It was my self, Satan J, Jeffery Peterson, and Angelica Lane in one car and it was late. Angelica had a shoot at 8 in the morning so we decided to head home and told the rest of the group to go on with out us.

Apparently once the group got to Jerry's Deli, a paparazzi who claimed to work for TMZ asked for some video bites from Ron and Dennis as they walked in. Someone else in the group objected to the paparazzi and after a short time the guy pepper sprayed the dude in the group that will remain unnamed. From what I hear Ron Jeremy said they were happy to do the interviews. I have hung out with Jeremy and Hof several times and the one thing I can say is that both of them are very good "Public" people, meaning that every time I have been with them they have always had a smile and a joke for anyone who came up to us in public.

Regardless of the ending, we had a great time at the comedy show and I have to once again thank Adam Hunter for inviting us, putting on one of the best all around comedy shows I have ever seen, and being a great friend.
