Rough Sex.. BDSM.. Is it for Everyone?

The other day while I was reading Kayden Kross's blog post about how she enjoys it rough, it got me to thinking. How is it that so many  enjoy the pleasure brought on by the rough sex play while others remain stead fast in their vanilla life style? Many couples enjoy the soft touch, slow seduction but from time to time need to shake up and spice things up so sex doesn't end up boring. Then there are those that enjoy the hair pulling, ass slapping, choking, use of toys, and of course BDSM.

From what I have seen and read, it has to be the adrenaline rush that heightens the arousal for both partners. Is it considered wrong to inflict light pain to induce more pleasure? In my opinion.. No. Even in mainstream movies you'll find some kind of reference that leads back to the fetishes which are enjoyed by so many.

How it is that one man can enjoy CBT (cock ball torture) and still enjoy the soft sensuality of love making? The obvious question may be that at the extremes of sensation, the lines between pleasure and pain blur.  Does CBT provide for some men levels of ecstatic pleasure far greater than any "normal" experience? Can that same man who indulges in the pleasure and extreme arousal from CBT have no problems enjoying the gentle touch during foreplay? The same goes for women. What is it about the pain of clamps and the feel of leather against their bodies that brings on so much pleasure? This coming from a person that loves watching BDSM titles.....
