I went out last night to see a friend's band play which I haven't seen in awhile. It was good to get out and see them play along with some friends I hadn't seen in awhile. But there is always that uncomfortable curiosity they pose with the interrogation "How you been? Where have you been? What have you been doing?"

It's ok to tell them about my "real job" of my music magazine Innocent Words (www.innocentwords.com shameless plug) but is it ok to tell them I have been immersed in a world of porn where girls are sucking and fucking huge cocks, sometimes two or more at a time?

Only a handful of my real friends know about my secret life of a porn writer. I used to hide the fact that I wrote for porn magazines and eventually my own website www.IWAdult.com (another shameless plug.) But now I don't really care. Who wouldn't want my job? When people find out I work in the porn industry they are either two things 1) really curious about what I do and how it all works or 2) they think I have the greatest job in the world. Which may be true but be careful for what you wish for because there are some days you just don't want to write about how a big guy with a huge cock fucked a girl in missionary, cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, doggy style and eventual pop shot. But for the most part I thank my lucky stars that I get to write for a living and I am blessed beyond belief that I get to write about rock 'n' roll and pornography.

As the evening rolled along I was rocking out to my friend's rock band, which played another blistering set by the way. These guys are in their 50s, if not older, and they could blow many of these college bands around here off the stage. Just because you have a MySpace page, a home recording computer and a bushy beard (which seems to be all the rage these days) doesn't mean you are a good musician. So take note please.

Then, as I mingled a little bit, I met up with a girl I have known for a very long time, but I hadn't seen her in several years. And she looked really tired. She is a single mom now, works full time and tried to make ends meet. She told me this was one of her rare nights off and she came out to see the band, which she is also friends with. We caught up on life and what not, then this other girl, much younger, comes up to her and it took me a minute to put two and two together, I was never really any good at math by the way. And come to find out the second girl was her daughter. Her fucking daughter in the bar having drinks with her mom watching our friends rock band. Well technically she shouldn't have been having drinks because come to find out she was only 18, but still I never felt so humbled in all my life.

The last time I saw my friend's daughter she was in pig tails, doing homework and playing with her little friends in the neighborhood and doing whatever little girls do. Now she was all grown up out rocking with her mom having some beers and dancing.

Yeah I know what you pervert's are thinking right about now, "yeah Troy, but was she hot?" Well yes she was hot and her mom still looked good to despite looking tired. I admit, I checked them both out, what can me say? I am a guy and I work in porn.

And that, my friends is when it hit me. My friend's daughter, who I still saw as a kid, is now old enough to be in porn. And that freaked me out. NO it didn't make me hot or turn me on or whatever. It made me think of all these 18-19-year-olds in porn that I have watched and reviewed their scenes and those girls are my friend's daughter's age. It was pretty eye opening to say the least.
