 Evil Angel
has long been a leader in gonzo influenced porn, setting the stage for
a number of companies to imitate or build on their success to
eventually lead the industry out of the feature market and into the
modern age of porn. As a result of their success, the company, and
owner John "Buttman" Stagliano, were the latest large scale prosecution
of the porn industry, following some admittedly smaller (and less well
financed) people on the cutting edge. As a result, the company decided
to release their first companywide compilation in the form of a three
disc Defend Our Porn: Special Extended Set, in part to raise
funds but as much to raise the level of awareness in an industry that
often shows just how insular the players tend to be when their heads
aren't on the chopping block. Let's face it, if the government is
willing to go after big guys like Evil Angel, how tough do you think it
would be for them to use the prosecutorial process to bankrupt smaller
interests; putting a chilling effect on the industry? So that is what
the 10+ hours of scenes, including a brand new scene starring an old
favorite, came into being.  It might not have been a collection of their best scenes for any
individual but it was a great selection worthy of your time, money, and
seed so I rated it as Highly Recommended despite the technical
values being on the lower end at times. The cause is worthy and while
court interpretations of the First Amendment might differ from those of
the people in the porn industry, our Republic provides for the people
to have the ultimate say in how we are governed. There will be a new
president in office this time next year and the courts will drag this
case on long enough to make a number of lawyers very wealthy but if you
enjoy watching consensual adults having hardcore sex, picking up a copy
of Defend Our Porn: Special Extended Set is certainly one way
you can assist in making your views known while having a good time. Buy
a copy at better retailers everywhere or straight from the company
itself but consider it a nice manner to support those fighting for your
freedoms.

 Erik Everhard
has long been established as a powerful top tier male performer in
porn, possessing the kind of driving style most of his peers just can't
emulate effectively in any meaningful way. I tend to call it a trance
or Erik being in his zone but even some of the Xcritic bloggers, the
female performers, speak of his uncanny abilities in favorable terms,
rivaling Manuel Ferrara as their top pick when they want a good stiff
cock. As a director at Jules Jordan Video,
Erik also tends to provide more fuck for the buck than almost anyone in
the industry, pushing aside the weaker efforts of his peers with
quantity and quality that is likened to what Jules Jordan himself
provides, albeit with a different focal point. That in mind, his latest
title to cross my reviewing path is Jailbait 5: Special Edition where the director takes on a number of attractive little newcomers,
relishing his role as a mentor while he pounds them into a state of
bliss (the technical matters ably handled by assistant Jimmy
Scaffnetti). Given that youth oriented gonzo titles are so common, Erik
and Jimmy team up to make this series one of the best of their
extensive catalog too, while not my favorite genre, certainly showing
such fans the time of their respective lives more often than not (you
can compare this series to any youth based gonzo series elsewhere and
it beats all of them in most categories from what I've seen; at least
as long as you like seeing the ladies really pushed to their limits).  It was exactly what I expected it to be with Erik getting a lot of choice
pussy from the ranks of the newest gals in town. Every single one of
them was physically attractive and at least partially equipped to deal
with his top notch skills, elevating the heat of most scenes to the
point where the high end technical values, solid extras, and chemistry
between the director and ladies resulted in a double disc movie worth a
rating of Highly Recommended. I prefer ladies with thicker curves and more experience but Jailbait 5: Special Edition  was a sweet collection of new scenes full of both quantity
and quality so check it out.

 Greg Lansky & Mike Adriano came out of nowhere several years ago, tackling a number of series based on youth for Digital Sin
and sister company New Sensations. That isn't my favorite genre but
fans of their work profess that many of the ladies used are the type
that fit the bill, "young, hot, and fuckable" with an attempt to use
ladies that are not shot out by all of their competitors. Now that the
company is making the move to release a bunch of titles on the superior
Blu-Ray format, it may even find itself back in the driver's seat as it
used to be as one of the top companies for technical values, much like
it had been when the DVD format arrived so long ago. The first such
release making it my way is the well received Fresh Outta High School #3 (Blu-Ray) ,
a title starring some of the most fan friendly gals in porn, including
Bree Olson, Paulina James, Audrey Bitoni, and Maya Hills from when they
were new to the industry.  Another such release making it my way is the well received Fresh Outta High School #8 (Blu-Ray), a title starring some appealing new talent with the requisite look. I was curious as to how it would fare as a newer title given the hi-def
upgrade. Here's what the back cover said about the show: "Director Greg
Lansky is proud to introduce this volume's graduating class of slutty
teens that will make you pop until you drop. Courtney James gets her
pussy punished by Mark Wood. Sabrina Starr spreads her legs nice and
wide for Mark Ashley. Evelyn Lin gets her lips split by Alex's massive
meat. Tia Thomas and Steve Holmes cram for an oral exam that you will
never forget. And Tori Black learns to go balls deep when John Strong
sticks his dick deep inside her dripping wet cunt. These girls are
about to get it good, because this is a lesson they didn't get at
school!"  Both titles showed that upgrading to the high definition world make sense for high end consumers.

Eddie Powell's latest release making it my way is Fuck For Dollars 9, the wonderfully appealing series I last saw with Fuck For Dollars 6.
The concept of the series is for the crew to pick up ladies and offer
them varying amounts of money to strip, tease, and have sex in front of
the camera. This is a popular internet theme but Eddie takes the comedy
to a new level, never coming off as forced with this volume providing a
great cast of relative newcomers as well as the tag team duo of Jew
Hefner and Dr. Leon "The Milkman" Loveless in non-sex roles. If you
like a lot of "fun in your fuck flicks; you will probably find this a
solid selection for some replay value. The cover said it like this:
"It's the big ballin' edition of Fuck For Dollars as Camryn Kiss and
Ashli Orion challenge the Greedy crew to a game on the hard court. But
when it's time to pay up, these bitches are about to find the stakes to
be long, hard, and shaped like a banana. The same goes for 3 other
money hungry sluts (Scarlett Fay, Deena Daniels, and Alexa Jordan),
because when push comes to shove, these girls will do anything for a
buck!"  It was another fun outing by the director and his confederates; never
taking themselves too seriously but always seeming to deliver the
laughs even if some of the ladies were a bit underperforming. The
replay value and strokability were enough to warrant a rating of Recommended
but I reiterate that the comedic chemistry between Jew Hefner and Leon
was better than the newcomer "D", my hopes that this is corrected in
the future. I haven't been fortunate enough to see each volume in the
series but I've really liked what I've seen to date, the website
probably even better.

 Jordan Septo
is a director that has been compared to an "early Stagliano" in terms
of his devotion to ass by at least one reputable critic, the man's butt
movies at Venom Digital
often a special treat to review. One of the things that Jordan does
that some of us have learned to appreciate is his casting of ladies
that are driven to succeed, or at least "suck seed", with an emphasis
on the kind of body shapes that guys like me appreciate, his latest
release continuing his lengthy history of superior asses in Gluteus Maximass 2.
Not having seen the first volume of the series, I can't compare the two
but I know that with names like Alexis Texas, Gianna, Brooke Haven, and
Flower Tucci headlining the star studded cast, it would take a near
miracle to fuck this one up. The back cover said it like this: "Ass
lovers rejoice. The long awaited sequel to the definitive big ass movie
is back. This time the girls are dirtier, the glutes are bigger and
action is hotter. Join me in worshiping and exploring the greatest and
dirtiest gift to mankind. The results are tremendously thick and juicy.
Only an ass would miss it! All Lover, Jordan R Septo"  It had three great scenes and two good ones but the lack of extras, the
audio synch problem, and the slightly "off" look of the visuals kept
the rating at a still-respectable Recommended. Despite
budgetary concerns, Jordan seemed to know what the audience wants and
skipped the camera trickery in favor of a straightforward focus on the
bountiful booty before him so with relatively little polishing up,
perhaps his work will be discovered by a wider market as it should be.
In short,  Gluteus Maximass 2 showcased Alexis Texas, Gianna,
and Jessica Lynn very nicely with Flower and Brooke pulling up the rear
with plenty of strokability and replay value too.

 Justice Young
surprised me earlier this year when I sat down to watch some of his
movies and found them surprisingly appealing, the guy able to capture
the youthful zeal of his performers having a good time and not worrying
about the silly shit with his efforts for Voodoo House. Given his appeal as a fledgling director on the prowl, I anxiously picked up a copy of  Cream Filled Cookies! to see if he could extend that dynamic to a wider variety of ladies;
the show advertising "100% creampies" as the main selling point. As a
guy that prefers giving the hot beef injection to the ladies and
leaving my load inside of them (rather than the more traditional porn
facial), I know that last few seconds feels so great and that is why I
appreciate internal ejaculations so much more than facials, even
knowing ahead of time that many of these are faked as part of the porn
fantasy. Not knowing exactly what to expect, I dove in to find hotties
like Amy Ried, Holly Wellin, Harmony, and Maya Gates (among others) so
I had a good vibe from the production up front.  It had some strokable sex with decent replay so I rated it as Recommended
but while it offered some serious potential, there were nagging quirks
that bugged me including truncated tease, some performers out of place,
and a generic formula that cheapened some of the action. In all though,
Amy, Harmony, and Holly added sufficient heated sex to keep me coming
back a number of times, making  Cream Filled Cookies! worth my
time, money, and seed. The technical values in four scenes were better
than ever for the director and while the lack of a BTS feature sucked,
the inclusion of the great scene from POV Dreamshould certainly elevate the fuck for buck quotient.

 Mike John
has been in porn for a number of years, building a substantial base of
fans that find his work among the best in the point of view realm that
is now readily available at Jules Jordan Video.
The idea behind the genre is to allow the male viewer at home to be
able to fantasize that they are the one having sex with the ladies, the
male kept out of the frame except for his penis as it enters the women
in various ways. Mike not being the most studly looking of performers
also allows the viewer to see the gals enjoying a bone ride from an
average dude instead of some parolee looking moper, a concept some of
us can identify with too. Mike's latest release coming to me is POV Pervert 10: Special Edition, the sequel to POV Pervert 9where he drilled all sorts of talent until busting wads of spew all
over their faces, picking up the dynamic this time around with an all
new selection of ladies. The diversity of Mike's titles is another
selling point for me in that there are thick gals, thin gals, blonds,
brunettes, white, black, and that really helps replayability for me.  It had a lot of sex and it was fun as well as done in the advertised point
of view manner, but only a few of the ladies seemed to be really into
the moment with the guy so I rated it as Recommended. There was
a lot of action for the money and the diverse selection of ladies
didn't hurt but I've grown accustomed to seeing higher end ladies used
in his movies so I admit to being a bit disappointed too. In short, POV Pervert 10: Special Edition was handled soundly on a technical basis but as good as it
was, it fell shorter than one would expect given the robust history of
quality gonzo the director has provided in the past.

 Jazz Duro has been in scores of movies as a meat puppet in recent years but his work as a director at Evil Angel
has helped him make his mark even more as far as I'm concerned. His
love of ass is akin to company founder John "Buttman" Stagliano, Jazz
searching the globe to find the roundest rumps with a distinctive
emphasis on Brazilian booty in his various series to date. As part of a
growing trend at the company, Jazz was recently given a compilation of
his best scenes called  The Best of Jazz Duro: League of Extraordinary Ass,
and my concern was that half the scenes would be good, the other half
mediocre, and no new extras included. The good news is that the single
disc set really did have some of his best work, leaning towards earlier
scenes he directed, but the bad news is that nothing new was offered up
either (and the extras were weak too).  It did give me the impression that some of the scenes were "tightened up"
in editing them but the quality of the action still represented some of
his best work to date as advertised. The six scenes had gorgeous round
rumps and I added in some naked pictures to emphasize exactly what you
should expect from the show, most of the scenes being the opening
rounds from their respective titles (that are still well worth checking
out; perhaps a rebate program could be started for loyal followers that
buy the titles from this compilation). I rated The Best of Jazz Duro: League of Extraordinary Ass as Recommended
mainly because it had nothing new to offer up fans and merely stated
that three of the scenes came from his Ass Jazz series (leading some to
think that the other three scenes might be new) but newcomers could do
a lot worse than this one if they don't demand the best looking
technical values in lieu of raw energy. I suspect many loads of
population pudding will be launched as a result of this compilation, it
even reminded me of how solid some of the director's works were so
early in his career.

Almost three decades ago, America was still recovering from the effects
of the Vietnam War (some say we still are) and anti-war movies were all
in vogue because of it. One of the best was Coming Home,
starring Jon Voight and Jane Fonda as they dealt with the aftermath of
his tour of duty. The movie won numerous awards and showed some of the
downsides of military efforts around the globe. How poignant is it then
that our recent war in Iraq has impacted a number of soldiers in
similar fashion, leading to a horde of war movies that aren't quite as
cheerleader epics as those shot during Reagan's glory years when we
were all told to "get over it already?". Well, in a departure from
conventional porn features, director Brad Armstrong and Wicked Pictures
went all out to make their own version of a story that dealt with the
impacts of war in what is almost certain to become a heavy hitter at
award time; using the same name with Coming Home Blu-Ray. Brad
stars as a military reservist that is called to active duty, goes off
to serve his country as so many heroes have before him, and through a
quirk of fate, finds himself on the wrong side of a lost relationship.
I can't speak for other critics but having served myself, including
time in the reserves; I've seen some of the issues the movie used all
too accurately, making me think Brad had some help when writing this
one up.  It was one of my favorite dramatic fuck flicks of last year so I rated it as Recommended.
Most of the extras were taken away but the acting was substantially
better than average and except for some pacing issues with the story,
it might have been the best story line presented by Wicked all year
long (there were a few others that surpassed it in that sense but not
the kind of blockbuster this was). This was not a feel good drama with
a happy ending but the amount of sex presented, not to mention the
variety of sexual practices, was a couple of steps forward for the
company too; the cast almost all fitting their respective roles both
sexually and in the dialogue. Co-director Jessica Drake would have been
better used in a sex scene and the blockbuster releases of the season
have not all come out yet, but Coming Home Blu-Ray proved again
that Brad and Wicked make a good team for serious dramatic
entertainment leading to some critical acclaim as it did here.

 John Strong has directed for Red Light District
for some time now, one of the last company loyalists from what I could
tell in our admittedly limited conversation earlier this year. John is
a gonzo director more interested in heat and energy than technical
excellence so it makes sense that he'd end up at the company, some of
his previous outings really well handled. His latest title to make it
my way is Whatabooty #5, the director taking the series over
from Mr. Pete. The idea is to provide a sufficient amount of tease and
hardcore sex with the emphasis being the ladies having large, ripe
rumps. I'm not sure what John will offer in terms of changing the
formula but I wanted to see all the same considering he had the chance
to work with increasingly rare Tiffany Mynx.  It was saved from obscurity thanks to the efforts of Tiffany Mynx and
Claire Dames, both ladies providing the most consistent rides of the
show (though Velicity wasn't bad and the others had the kind of curvy
asses I have come to expect of the series) so I rated it as Recommended.
The technical values were okay but seemed to be rushed (two scenes
lacking the post production music tracks, some off camera comments
heard in the background, other noises heard that should have been
better handled as well as editing in need of repair) though in the end
result, the replayability and stroke value were sufficient to give the
nod, again thanks largely to the two top gals of the show. In short, Whatabooty #5was a nice showcase for some mighty sweet looking ass, even if only
half the cast did anal and the movie able to provide a couple of scenes
that I could go back to repeatedly in my estimation for the kind of
self loving we rarely talk about.

 Manuel Ferrara has been distributed by Evil Angel
for some time now, his previous career elsewhere almost forgotten
except for his extensive use of bonus scenes from them that are
otherwise OOP. Manuel is a Renaissance man type of guy that does it
all: he performs, directs, and otherwise assists his friends with their
productions in porn, typically charming the veritable pants of his
female coworkers at every turn. His latest title making it my way is Evil Anal 6: Special Extended Set, the sequel to Evil Anal 5,
where Manuel's focus is on shapely asses getting penetrated by him and
his pals. While there were only four scenes (if you don't include the
previously released scenes), they were lengthy enough to really show
the ladies off completely, from head to toe and all that was in between
so if you're a fan of any of them, this is a sweet stopping point for
you to rush out and get your own copy of the double disc set.  It had some very distinctive sexual highs and lows but on average, there
was enough replay value, strokability, and fuck for the buck that it
merited a minimum of a Recommended from me. Renae and Ricki's
scene was the best thing going but a few of the others had some replay
and strokability too, making it something you will probably like if
you've enjoyed the series as much as I have in the past. In short, Evil Anal 6: Special Extended Set will appeal to the masses of ass loving anal freaks out there, a
variety of booty offered up for your personal stroking pleasure that
should satisfy you until Manuel's next title comes out soon.

 Mark Ashley
is often considered one of the hardest pounding meat puppets this side
of Erik Everhard or Manuel Ferrara these days but his work as a
director has gone largely ignored by the masses from what I've seen.
That's too bad considering he brings a drive to his directing efforts
much like his scenes, pushing gals to have fun but provide some serious
upgrades to their scenes as a result, such as his work for Digital Sin. His latest release making it my way was a high definition porno mastered in 1080i called Double Play #6 (Blu-Ray),
a series dedicated to scenes where two ladies gang up on a single guy
to give him the time of his life, often Mark himself. My buddies have
favorably reviewed a number of the past volumes in the series so I was
looking forward to seeing how the company did on a relatively newer
title rather than merely back catalog stuff released for sake of
popularity.  It was a nice showing of where the company was going in terms of their
high definition efforts, the release one of the best I've seen in
awhile for how straightforward it was, how the looks of the ladies were
enhanced rather than detracted from, and the amount of fuck for the
buck so I rated it as Recommended. I can't say what the SD
version of the movie looked like for comparison purposes but this was
one you will find strokable and replayable for some time to come. In
short, Double Play #6 (Blu-Ray) challenges the perception that
only big budget features are destined for the high definition format in
such a way that I think others might follow rather than be left behind.
I'd like better extras (especially unique to the BR version) to add
value but I couldn't deny that this was a winner for me.

 Tony T. is my second favorite director at Anabolic
after talented Ivan, both of them offering a variety of gonzo styled
fuck fests these days. Tony tends to embrace the rougher side of porn
and for those into that sort of thing, he rarely goes too far yet
manages to instill some replay value for the shock effect alone. Having
dipped into the vaults from last year, I dug up  Up Your Ass #28, the sequel to Up Your Ass #27,
for review this week in hopes of seeing Tony's growth as a director.
The series itself is dedicated to anal sex with the kink being that all
the ladies get anally hammered by large black cocks tearing into their
perfect puckers. I will probably always maintain that the term
"interracial" is a misnomer since we are all members of the human race
but the societal shock value for some fans is still present and as long
as it is, there will be a market for this kind of gonzo effort. The
main selling point of this volume was clearly cute little Rebeca
Linares but some of her industry peers were in fine form too, Tony
using a small cast of recognized black men to drill the ladies
senseless in the lengthy scenes.  It initially made me ponder the advertised slogan on the front cover since
there was a lot of vaginal fucking taking place too; to me, the "100%
Interracial Ass Fucking" meant that all the women would be white (they
were), the men would be black (they were) and all the sex would be anal
(it wasn't though each gal did take a black dick or two in her ass, the
men wanting some pussy along the way). Just as I provide pictures of
the gals fucking the black cock, you can see that the technical values
were not quite there when this was shot, the camera settings changed
during the scenes but left unedited a number of times, distracting me
to say the least. The sex was generally well doine though and despite a
few of the men having temporary erection problems in a few scenes, the
ladies all did a decent job of engaging their partners, meriting a
rating of Recommended even though this wasn't the best such offering I've seen of late. In short, Up Your Ass #28 was a bit better than Up Your Ass #27
though your mileage may well vary if you aren't into the female cast
members; Rebeca living up to her reputation as did Carly and Maria.

 Greg Lansky has directed a number of fuck flicks for New Sensations
in the last few years, evolving as he became better equipped to provide
the kind of porn fans were demanding. He tends to stick with youth
titles, many starring the flavor of the month types, but I'm also told
he has been diversifying his portfolio so I look forward to seeing what
the buzz is all about. His latest Blu-Ray title to come to me was Naughty College School Girls 45 (Blu-Ray). Having seen a few of the series in the past myself, I knew
that this being one of the first high definition titles coming from the
company means it must have a lot of potential per the executives
working them, not hurting in the slightest that Jenny Hendrix was
headlining and plastered on the cover alone. The back cover said it
like this about the show: "Director Greg Lansky has got a new batch of
freaky teens that will have you blowing your load all over your books
and pencils. You've got to watch these teen queens get nasty and freaky
like they've never done before. Dakoda Brooks, Evie Delatosso, Kendra
Devons, Jenny Hendrix, and Anna Lee take it to a new level when we give
them the chance to fuck or get fucked by some rock hard bone cocks.
Catholic School Girls Gone Bad? I think so!"  It looked as crisp and clear as if I was on the set those days the scenes
were shot, three of them good enough to warrant an overall rating of Recommended
this time. The technical issues could have been polished up and a
couple of the ladies might have been better placed in another movie but
Greg did a solid job with what he had to work with and I think high
definition served this one really well. In short, Naughty College School Girls 45 (Blu-Ray)was a decent early effort for the company to expand into the fledgling
format with a nod to consumer confidence, I just wish that better
extras were included to really push the envelope better than most of
their competitors (as when they nearly ruled the roost during the
transition from VHS to DVD).

Ben Johnson delivered up a quartet of titles to appreciate starting with Fresh Outta High School #10:  This DVD delivered what it promised - young looking girls
sucking and fucking. There really weren't any "filler" scenes, and
every girl gave a solid performance. Combine all that with good extras
and above average technical quality, and you have a DVD worth adding to
your collection. If you're a fan of teen DVDs, do yourself a favor and
check this title out; Barely Legal #84: Overall I was very satisfied with this DVD. The one thing it
really has going for it is the quality of the girls. Each and every one
of them is amazing to look at. Combine that with energetic sex, good
technical quality, and decent extras and you have a DVD worthy of
adding to your collection. If you're a fan of teen DVDs, definitely
consider picking this title up; Just Over Eighteen #15: I was a big fan of the previous installment in the series. It
provided plenty of hot action, but more importantly plenty of value.
This DVD, however, includes less scenes and I didn't feel they were of
equal quality. While it's still an enjoyable release, I can only
recommend picking it up on sale; and Pure 18 #3: Reality Kings has been really proving themselves as one of the big players in the world of porn. Pure 18 Vol. 3is another big step towards getting them to the top. Not only are the
girls all top-notch beauties, but they really know how to fuck on
camera. When you combine that with the tons of extras and the solid
technical quality you have a nice little DVD. If you're in the market
for a new amateur title, I'd consider giving this one some serious
consideration.

Porn Princess even offered a pick that she was hesitant about at first, proving the value of reviews even for seasoned critics with Scenes From A Cell, starring lovely Lanny Barby:  This movie from Vivid features their contract girl Lanny Barby. It is
shot in a documentary style with Lanny as the subject. Every now and
then Lanny talks into the camera as she talks about life inside. This
is categorized as a feature but it is more of an all sex movie with a
little story thrown in to connect things. 
I have been a fan of Lanny for a while. I was disappointed though when
she went to Vivid because at the time I didn't like their movies that
much. So when this movie was available I figured I'd check it out. I
was not disappointed other than I think they could have done another
scene considering one was a short solo masturbation. Overall a decent
flick and I would recommend it, especially if you are a Lanny Barby
fan. 
They go into this room and Lanny starts to put on a show for them.
Obviously as a way to win a favor from Charles so she can be paroled.
