Performers of the Year, Not Another Porn Movie, the Return of Teagan Presley, and so much more…

Joanna Angel now directs for Adam & Eve
having bounced around the industry to find a home for her own version
of alternative (sometimes called "alt") pornography.  Never taking her
craft too seriously, she eschews many of the built in problems some of
her peers embrace as giving them an edge, failing to realize that to
many fans, the edge is strictly in the eye of the beholder.  Joanna's
latest release in this line of thinking is the semi-parody called Not Another Porn Movie;
starring the director as a frustrated director trying to shoot her
latest fuck flick with all the usual problems driving her crazy.  The
tongue in cheek approach works for the lady and her scenes, propped up
as much by the sly winks toward industry conventions as anything else,
with some decent extras filling out the package, as it were.  It was not much like the kind of parody the cover would suggest (like the
aforementioned Scary Movie, Date Movie, and related teen flicks) but it
did serve as a funny send up of porn clichés as much as provide a new
take on the movie in a movie type of independent flick (handled better
than most indie directors have in recent years too). The sex was always
pretty decent even if most of the ladies did not physically appeal to
me too so I rated this one as a Recommended that many of you
will like for the entertainment value as much as the carnal activity
you will get in ample amounts too. In short, Not Another Porn Movie served as a fun fuck flick that turns industry conventions on their
collective heads, providing some laughs with the usual fuck for the
buck value you have come to expect from Joanna's efforts in the past.

Ray Bones and his work at Diabolic Digital
have been making waves of late as some decent strokable porn. Most of
his efforts have been enhanced by solid casting; the better the cast,the better the outcome of his movies. His most recent title making it
my way was No Swallowing Allowed 13, a series of six gonzo
scenes where the ladies were all ready to take their facials willingly,
the movie notable as another new release by hotty Teagan Presley
as she worked out the details of exiting her contract with Digital
Playground (contrary to rumors online, she was never denied the ability
to work). With some serious backup on display too, including Alexis
Texas and Sasha Grey, the movie looked like a winner!  It will probably rely largely on Teagan Presley as the main selling point but there were some other performances that gonzo fans will appreciate just as much so I rated it as Recommended.
The rough edges on the technical matters aside, I would have
appreciated more tease in the main movie as well as more extras but the
strokability, the replay value, and the amount of fuck for your buck
will be enough to merit the rating or better depending on how much you
enjoy seeing ladies take facials. In short, No Swallowing Allowed 13 was interesting not just for Teagan's latest appearance but for a cast
of cuties all satisfying a variety of tastes so check it out.

Given that porn is shot in mere days on a shoe string budget, talent
certainly accounts for making the most with what you have. In Brad Armstrong's
case, his blockbuster titles are the ones most bandied about but his
smaller efforts tend to show considerable quality too. His latest
release is Tasty, a spotlight showcase of lovely Jessica Drake
and others that engage in vignettes focusing on the sense of taste. I
prefer Brad's features more than his stylish attempts at erotica but
something told me that this one might be special so I picked up a copy,
the back cover saying this about the movie: "Out of all five senses,
taste is surely the most arousing....after all, we use our mouths to
kiss, to suck, to lick....to taste. Join Jessica Drake as she savors
all kinds of flavors-from sticky sweet cotton candy with Kirsten Price,
to a backyard BBQ cook off, to a veritable feast of flesh at a dinner
party where everyone leaves satisfied. Hungry? Then bring your
appetite...because these girls don't just have good taste, they're
tasty!" Having my doubts about the movie based strictly on the
marketing hype on the box, I found it was actually a sweet little title
to share with a loved one, fueling the fires but not overloading them
as most gonzo efforts would do.  It had a splendid cast, enough warmth and chemistry for my tastes, and is
the kind of vignette driven movie that will appeal to couples enough to
merit a rating of Recommended. It had some thematic rough edges
at times but the stylish nature of the presentation was nicely done in
most cases and as long as you aren't expecting a movie to compete with
the latest gonzo offering, you should find it appealing on multiple
levels. In short, Tasty might not make a fell course meal but it definitely served enough calories to make it as a desert.

Lanny Barby has been one of my favorite contract gals at Vivid Entertainment
for some time now, her beautiful eyes, curvy figure, and gonzo attitude
all combining to make her something special in my eyes. While I
strongly prefer her body of work with director B. Skow, she has made
some decent scenes with Chuck "Paul Thomas" Lords too, her latest movie by the guy being Cheap Booze & Cigarettes.
The movie is a modestly budgeted feature that uses Paul's unique method
of telling a story, two stories actually, about low life's and how they
deal with problems by getting drunk and laid. I'll admit that I hate
scenes edited together and prefer a straightforward approach to plotted
porn but given that Lanny was so prominently featured in the movie, I
figured that I'd give it a chance and I was not sorry. The back cover
says it like this: "Two tales of drunks, ex-cons and henpecked
husbands...all down on their luck, and finding their only pleasure in
nasty, zipless sex. In "Anywhere But My Bed," our hero finds he can
only get turned on in his apartment building elevator. Try as she
might, his buxom wife is unable to lure him into bed. Instead he is
drawn to stalk, seduce and fuck strange women in between floors. Going
up? In "The Big Shot," Evan Stone plays a former felon who finds
himself cheated on a bill in a local coffee house. The owner takes him
for a fool, short-changing his change. Evan seeks counsel from a whore
in a local flophouse. After fucking her silly, he fucks up the coffee
jerk, and then fucks his girl to boot. Six girls. Two anals. Two
three-ways. And Lanny Barby. Being down on your luck doesn't get any
better."  As weird as the plotted elements might have been and as painful as the
lighting was, some of the sexual energy and heat was enough to elevate
the rating to a respectable Recommended. I can almost always
guess when one of Paul's movies isn't up to standards; as that's when
he trots out his directing alias, but he also uses it to explore a
variety of experimental techniques that sometimes pan out so I can't be
too harsh on the guy. In short, Cheap Booze & Cigarettes may not have achieved everything it set out to do but fans of Lanny and
the rest of the ladies will likely appreciate all it did offer; a
decent level of strokability and replay for raincoaters to enjoy.

Gregg Alan is reportedly one of the big bosses over at Diabolic Digital
so his recent attempts to direct their movies has met with some curious
remarks from my fellow reviewers online. Whether the move is to save
money or restore the brand name that he fought so hard to develop, the
end result is that a lot of the series at the company haven't looked
better in years. The latest title of his to make it my way is Spring Chickens 20,
the company's ode to newcomers where relatively fresh gals from all
over the place have scenes with seasoned male performers. The results
of any newcomer scene are always mixed in my book since most of them
have yet to reach their full potential but such shows also give viewers
a chance to see the rare starlet in the making if handled properly too. 
It showed his improvement as a director as well as the series getting
better as the result of losing some of the harsher edges it had a few
years back under an infamous director of some notoriety. The cast lf
newcomers were not all brand new but most appeared to be less jaded
than many of the hardly legal titles so many companies offer up,
resulting in a rating of Recommended. In short, Spring Chickens 20 had several scenes that were worth the price of admission alone and the
total amount of strokability, replay value, and fuck for the buck will
depend mostly on how much you appreciate the newcomer ethic but this
was definitely a DVD you will appreciate.

Reviewer Guy Incognito then offered up a quintet of titles for your viewing pleasure, including Big Breast Amateur Girls Volume 7 and Big Breast Amateur Girls Volume 8:  other releases in the noble crusade to find chicks with natural
breasts. They're an endangered species in porn and the effort to find
the natural ladies is impressive. Today, we get a healthy mix of four
new ladies with a decent amount of supplemental material to back it up.
The A/V Quality is amateur porn standard with not a lot of attention
paid to the overall experience. Still, it's able to get you through one
solid spank session after another; Naughty Nanny: 
a weird release that isn't sure what it's trying to capitalize upon.
You get the tagline about anal being at your service, yet it's far from
being an entire anal fest. The fetish with the nanny costumes only goes
so far before it turns into just another fuckfest. Then, there's the
weird sort of infantilism that comes and goes through the movie. But,
the A/V Quality is top notch. So, there's that and some decent special
features. That still counts for something, doesn't it?  But, it's hot as hell and it has one of the best Holly Morgan scenes in
recent memory. Normally, that would be enough to make the film an
X-Critic pick. It's just that the film takes way too many chances and
doesn't connect on a lot of them;  Virgin Teen Lesbians 3:  an amazing release that shows off some of
the hottest lesbians new to the game. You get every motion under the
sun with nearly crystal clear A/V Quality. The special features are
pretty standard, but you can look past that. That's just how hot this
DVD will make you. The girls are fun and they possess a variety of looks. It's just that
no girl is really that dynamic. I wanted to see someone who could
become a superstar and all I got were supporting players; and Her First Lesbian Sex Volume 12: an amazing release that shows off
the hottest lesbians in porn. Nobody is a true superstar in this movie,
but they all want to work hard to get your nut to bust. The A/V Quality
is almost reference quality, as I have to say this is the best looking
Pink Visual title that I've reviewed. The special features are pretty
standard, but they keep your interest in the main feature. Everything
is so solid all around, can the main feature hold up? You can't go wrong with pretty lesbians sucking and fucking each other.
It's just that I wanted to see better special features and a stronger
video transfer across the board.

Harry Johnson then showed us the benefits of lesbian love in Girls on Girls #13:  With five scenes of girls on girls, it should be no surprise that the
thirteenth volume of the franchise does what it does best. A couple of
these scenes don't live up to the expectations set by others but all
around this is a solid release. There's no real rhyme or reason behind
what's going on here and quite honestly there doesn't have to be. Sure
it's devoid of personality but who needs that when you have hot girls
playing with each other? 
New Sensation's Girls on Girls franchise has proven to be rather
successful as evident by how many volumes that have been released. All
girl DVDs are popular with the masses and each publisher is always
looking for new girls to present. The crop here is mostly good with
some outstanding scenes peppered in. Yasmine and Jane along with the
threesome of Billy, Eufrat, and Stacy truly stand out compared to the
others. If you're looking for a solid lesbian release then this is
definitely one to check out as it doesn't disappoint in the least; and Asian Extreme 2:  the latest release from Toxxxic that seeks to appeal to Asian lovers
everywhere. With names like Lana Croft and Leilani Li on the board it's
hard to deny the appeal of such a feature. The action is intense
overall though some of these performers simply don't present well in
these scenes. Even so the fact that each girl gives up the anal and two
of the scenes are threesomes there's no denying the "extreme" nature of
its title. It's worth checking out if you like Asian girls and
interracial sex but it won't completely blow you away. Every hole is pounded and stretched here though not every scene is a
cut above the rest. If you're looking for a hardcore Asian release that
doesn't pull any punches then this is one to check out. It's not as
complete or attractive as other releases but it serves its purpose just
fine and easy comes recommended.

Felix Vasquez Jr then came up with a title impressing him called The Frat House:  I was a little surprised to see that this Penthouse Forum porno with
some rather notable porn stars, and a great concept was really only
fifteen minutes over an hour long. Typically films like this that I've
seen go well into three hours, but that's an advantage in this case.
Kelly Holland's "Frat House" doesn't overstay its welcome. It doesn't
give us too much bullshit, and surely enough it gets right to business.
Showcasing none other than the gorgeous Maya Hills and the sexy Gianna
Lynn, "Frat House" is a fun little anthology setting down on three
college guys well into their thirties telling of their experiences with
obviously really hot co-eds, and we're along for the ride. It's just
too bad "Frat House" can move too fast to really get into. While I like
a moderately length porno and all, "Frat House" is much too quick in
its segments to involve myself with, and in the end, Holland rushes
head first without giving us time to appreciate it. 
While I enjoy a porno that doesn't overstay its welcome and drag on for
almost three hours, "Frat House" is pushing it a little with a running
time of only a little over an hour. The segments are speedy, but the
plus side is that they're all very entertaining, so I'd recommend on
the basis that the fucking is hot, and the performers are gorgeous.
Penthouse rarely ever disappoints.

Chris Knight offered up a duo of load lightening titles such as Big Tits At Work:  Is there anyone who doesn't enjoy big tits? Straight guys love them,
gay guys love them, women love them. Tits are a beautiful thing. That's
why big-tit DVDs are so great. It's all about the curvy beauty of
women, and the sexiness they impart upon a lady. Brazzers, which is
quickly climbing my personal favorites chart, does them well,
especially in their theme series. This time around, the theme is
working women, and in-office sex, which, like their school sex DVD, is
a common fantasy for many. 
Once again though, the theme adds a ton of dialogue that helps make the
scenes exceedingly long, along with repetitive, overstretched sex
sessions. Also working against the disc is the terrible acting. Playing
these parts and building the scenarios are required to maintain a
theme, and acting is the only way to do that.  The office sex fantasy is a good one, but these scenes try too hard to
draw out the inspiration. Instead of worrying about that portion, which
results in too much talking, focus on the impressive chests of all the
women involved. The DVD presentation here isgood, but there's not much
bonus material; and Big Tits At School:  I'm a big fan of big tits, especially unusually large ones. Natural,
bouncing breasts are best, but a pair of mammoth surgically enhanced
sweater puppies will do in a pinch. This DVD has plenty of chesticles
for breast fans to ogle, all under the theme of school-time fun.
Whether it's seductive teachers or horny students, most everyone loves
a good school fantasy, which will make this DVD attractive to plenty of
people.
What won't make it attractive is the lack of variety in the action,
as each scene takes place in the same room, with essentially the same
set-up, which results in each scene repeating the others, which is even
worse because they are so long. Another black mark on the record is the
utterly godawful acting, which makes the average porno acting look
Oscar-worthy.  Too often, big-tit DVDs disappoint because they include a girl or two
that's a C-cup, and could barely be considered buxom. That's not the
case here, as every girl is stunningly stacked and, for the most part,
they are pretty sexy to boot, despite a lot of implants. Combining
school sex fantasies with giant jugs is a recipe for some boner-popping
video and this DVD presents it well, though there's not much extra
included.

The Mooninite then showed some alt-porn love with his look at The Bad Luck Betties:  Director Octavio Winkytiki's third feature for Vivid Alt, Bad Luck Betties, takes a page from Johnny Legend's Hot, Young N' Nasty Teenage Cruisersand fuses some seriously bad ass rockabilly beats with explicit
pornography. Whereas Legend's film was 70s ode to 50s hot rod movies,
Winkytiki's 2008 production pays homage to the juvenile delinquent/bad
girl movies made around the same time, with a little bit of Japanese
style pinky violence camp thrown in for good measure. Think of this as Switchblade Sisters meets Girl Boss Guerilla meets New Wave Hookers and you're on the right track, but still probably unprepared for the greatness that awaits you... The titular 'Betties' are a small gang of four tough gals - Smoking
Mary Jane, Mika Tan, Bianca Dagger and Marie Luv - who have been used
and abused by the seedy side of Hollywood. As such, they have to resort
to more drastic measures to make ends meet and before you know it, the
four beauties have gained control of the rackets in 'Transaction
Junction' and they aim on keeping it. With the turf secured, the
'Betties' stand to get a cut of every illegal going-on in the area but
of course, a monkey wrench or two gets thrown into their plans.  Admittedly plot very definitely comes second but when there's this
much style on display it's easy to overlook the lack of substance, and
let's face it, the old exploitation movies that this picture pays dirty
homage to weren't usually blessed with the deepest of plots. This sex
and violence first attitude is completely in keeping with Octavio's
influences and it's obvious from the care and attention put into the
costumes, the sets and the tough talking dialogue that he's having a
good time here and that he obviously loves these movies. It is steamy, sexy, stylish and most importantly, a helluva lot of fun.
Shot with a pin up photographer's eye for capturing the finer points of
the female form, this is on that'll appeal to smut movie fans and
b-movie enthusiasts alike. With a very nice transfer, solid audio and
some quality extras, this one easily earns a rating of highly
recommended. Roll up the cuffs of your jeans, slick back your hair, and
jump in.

Reviewer Peter Rockwell then offered up a whopping six titles you might appreciate with Stretched Out Snatch 7:  Considering they're up to the 7th installment in the series, you know
Digital Sin is doing something right. I found each and every scene to
be thoroughly enjoyable, with plenty of playful and energetic sex. Had
they provided a few more extras, I would have giving it a higher
rating. It would still make for a decent purchase if you can find it on
sale; Young Latin Ass #5:  Overall this was a pretty solid release. Nothing overwhelming but it
does all the little things well. The girls are all young and
attractive, the technical quality is good, and you get some decent fuck
for your buck. It's not a "must own" but if you like the Latina genre
try to find this title on sale; Teen Hitchhikers #17:  Cloned from the popular "Bangbus" series, each scene in Teen
Hitchhikers follows a similar plot. A cute fresh-faced girl is
wandering the lonely streets in search of ride home. Of course a couple
guys are more than willing to pick her up and drive her home in a limo,
if she agrees to suck and fuck them. While the plot may be corny and
weak, I actually found myself buying in to it (the decent acting didn't
hurt). The result is some playful and lighthearted sex living up to the
Teen Hitchhikers reputation; First Time Auditions #4:  This DVD has three things going for it: Good technical quality, decent
extras, and intense action. When you get those three things you're sure
to have a solid DVD on your hands. I was a fan of the previous
installments, and this title carries the torch. If you're a fan of teen
sex, you might want to consider checking this one out; MILF Filth 2:  This release might not be a blockbuster, but it does provide
many memorable moments. The girls are all attractive, the sex is
passionate, and the technical quality is solid. Also, and more
importantly, I feel it would hold up to repeated viewings. If you're in
the market for another Adult DVD (that is wife friendly) then consider
picking this title up; and Teen Idol #4:  Simply put I was blown away by this release. The main thing it has
going for it is an incredible cast of young ladies. Not only do they
truly look like teens, but they all have playful and energetic
attitudes. Even with the lack of extras, I'm still going to give this
DVD a rare rating of "Highly Recommended". Good work Smash Pictures!

We close with a few titles brought before us by reviewer Wind Tunnel such as Rocco's Nasty Tails 7:  four trio-centric scenarios where ass is given up and hammered out one by
one, though not all asses are up for grabs (sadly, perhaps), and all
involved ladies are gorgeously Euro in looks and dialects.  It is no different in quality of performer either in front of or behind the camera.  While I adored Nicky's analocities, and Veronica stormed through the tail end of her co-scene, Ilessya and Tanya's pair-up truly was a team effort, and remains my favorite.  Lucy,
no less, deserves a heap of praise for her believable cuckolding, and
shining herself up in front of her performer of a boyfriend.  Even with
four scenes, Rocco packs quite a bit of fucking into each one, and
those who aren't already tuned into the Nasty Tails wavelength, well, here's your chance; Afro Diziac:  finds eager white boys indulging in cup after cup of hot cocoa. Though the box art may lead you on with a promise of a full-on Cleopatra Jones/Foxy Brownparty, the girls do not fail to deliver here, even when they don't! 
Marie truly takes the cake in her dynamo effort, and Vanessa burns
quite brightly in a shower-themed scene while Jayden shows off her
generous nature and Stacey haunts my every busty dream.  And even
though I felt Stacey could have payed a little more attention to her
cohort, just seeing her beauty is a marvel, of sorts.  But despite all
of its minor flaws, Afrodiziac delivers a bevvy of luscious brown-skinned ladies who certainly can get the job done;  LA Lust:  Director Dave Naz may be familiar to most as the photographer behind many fine collections of adult material (L.A. Bondage, Legs, Lust Circus)
more widely available in the fine art section of your local bookstore,
but more frequently his presence behind the camera has been
increasingly prevalent.  Thankfully, his aesthetic choices haven't
changed from medium to medium, and the fetishistic aspects of his work
reign supreme here.  While maintaining a mild S & M flavor, L.A. Lust pits the porniest of girls into situations of sensory overload; and Girls Loving Girls:  I admit that I am somewhat biased by the Abby Winters style of all-girl
fun, as I feel that most man-free porn is stylistically uninspired and
cliché-ridden enough to induce a deep sleep (unless it's Belladonna, with her fingers and toes and filthy mind of fury).  Girls Loving Girlshas oodles of what those snooze-inducing titles lack, and plenty enough
to go around for everyone.  These girls are gentle, and at times
fierce, creatures that feel genuine in their lust for one another,
kissing and adoring each other as their hands find their ways in and
around their objects of affection.  It nearly goes against what every
other porno attempts to do, and succeeds because of it.  So, in short,
if you'd like to see girls as they are, natural, bubbly, fluffy-soft
and rounded on all sides, and free of the performance anxiety, Girls Loving Girls just might be the clear breath of fresh air you need to feel good about porn again.
