Day 2  started off   early  for me,  I was  up at the  crack of  dawn after a  few  long  day. Don and I went to grab breakfast at Denny's. On our  way  out  he introduced me  to  Roger  from Rogsreviews  who I have  had the pleasure of  reading his  blog postings on MySpace. Afterwards we made our way to the Venetian to the expo. Once  there  I  made my way  over to the  Adam &  Eve booth to see if  I  could  re-schedule my interview with Carmen Luvana , there  was a  scheduling conflict the  day  before and it overlapped with her  signing. I did get to speak to her in Spanish about a few things. I even got her to autograph my copy of Lady Scarface.

I made my way over to one of the many seminars that day. What I should have of done was  go with my first instinct and listen to  Don but I went anyway. In the course of 20 years in retail as a Buyer I know the highs and lows of Marketing and Sales. I feel that if  major  retail  companies took the  time to listen to me I sure as  hell  knew what I was  taking about. The same goes for my reviews...

If you've  been reading my  reviews , you would  know  first hand that I have  always  been very  vocal in speaking up  about what  woman look  for in porn. Women today do not want to watch stuff that is solely made for men in mind nor do they wish to watch endless hours of non-satisfying G/G porn. They want to be able to enjoy every aspect of whatever title they want with out feeling left out. It is the   combination of  three  things that I focus on when  watching a adult  title  claiming they are  made for women: sexuality, chemistry and sensuality.

The seminar had a rep from Babeland and a few other women also representing other companies also sat  on the panel. The one name I did recognize was Kelly Holland from Penthouse. I had spoken to Ms. Holland over the summer about Penthouse's "Out of Control". I was very impressed with the group Uriah which she used for the soundtrack. It was a Q&A  where  basically the   question seemed  focus on one  topic.

I will be honest when I say that it was rather hard for me to stay focused and awake through out it. At one point I had to take a break after almost an hour and get some fresh air. I did return and sat in the back not wanting to be rude in case I wanted to get up and leave which I did. I went in there under the premise that  it  would have been more interactive with the  audience and that  real  question were  going to  be  asked.

 I found it to be very boring and repetitious to what I have   been saying all along. No one  really  touched the  true  core of  what  women really  want  except  for   Ms. Holland who mentioned  her directing skills  when it  came to the material  and  content  for  Playgirl TV and  who  currently  directs  and  produces  for Penthouse answered many of the  questions.

There is one woman that comes to mind that should have been on that panel and that would be Candida Royalle. She is definitely one woman that focuses on what we as woman want to watch. Granted that we all have different viewing taste and that's what keeps us apart from the men.

Women today have become a much   strong and positive force in the adult industry. You have more women behind the cameras than you did years ago. Its so much  easier to have a  woman  writing and  directing  porn  because  they  know what looks and  feels good equally to  men and  women.

As I interviewed the  beauties  from Digital Playground the day before,  I  asked the  same  question to  each  of them.. " Do you  see yourself  being  behind the  camera directing later on  down the road" and   each replied with a  firm  " Yes" With that  being said all  women have the  will to become a  dominant force in any work place including   how we  watch porn.

Its changes will be  based three things.. Chemistry, sexuality, and sensuality. Women as  much as  men want to be   seduced mentally and  physically.  They want to have the couple they are watching on the DVD make every   touch count. What they don't want to see is performer who aren't  into the  other or  rushed work. One thing that I have  come to notice is that in  many of the   adult  titles I've  watched and  reviewed is that many man  and woman aren't into giving  oral as  they  love  getting it. Which makes me wonder  why  are  they  working in  porn I the first place.

Some women love to be dominated while others enjoy being the Domme. Sometimes the   romantic setting isn't enough to push one past the edge to have that mind shattering orgasm.. For some treating her or him as a slut is what makes things work. No one really knows what works for everyone but in an industry where  there is  so much  to  chose  from women and  men both have  a  vast  selection to  chose  from.

Now that I've  got that off my  chest back to the  showroom floor where I met up  with  Don. After I  had told me  my  take on the  seminar, we went  walking around  taking some  pictures of performers.  I think what  made my day was meeting Evan Stone. Talk about  being  star  struck..  I just hope that I didn't make a fool out of myself in front of him. Don was nice enough to take a few pictures of me with him being that the batteries in the camera died.  I was so hyper after meeting him that I had to call my friend and let her know what just happened.

Ok I'll admit to being star- struck but you have to realize that I enjoy watching Evan Stone in action. He makes porn fun to watch and you really don't know what he will do in front of a camera. By the  same  token  a few minutes later we  find  the  sultry  Annette Schwartz. She is one of the many  female performers that  I love to watch. I mean look at that  body! Tell me  that   you wouldn't want to have her  all to  yourself.

 Now I'm talking like  a  fan..  We took so many pictures that afternoon and I was introduce to many of his  contacts. It was nice to know that  many of them have been reading the  reviews on XCritic.  I even got to  meet Howard from Club Jenna that  day as well as  Tristan Taramino who  invited us to the  party  for  Babeland. I  got to take  pictures with Derrick Pierce and  Christian. Don and I headed  back to the  room and  grabbed a  bite to eat  before heading off to  meet up with G. After that we  went and  hung out a bit at the Circle Bar .
