Don Houston has
long been a fan of the biggest name in porn so it came as no surprise
that he glowed in his review of her latest compilation of scenes: Jenna Jameson
may be winding her career as the world's biggest porn star (not just
performer mind you, but STAR) down these days as she steps behind the
camera and directs but there is little doubt that anything she touches
turns to gold for those involved. In recent years, she has collaborated
with Justin
Sterling, before their recent application for divorce, and managed
to sell Club Jenna for
millions of dollars. The company is like most others in how it has
latched onto a specific style of presentation in the movies it makes
which leads me to the subject of today's review. Using footage
previously released from 2001 to 2003, Jenna Loves
Justin is the latest compilation starring the leading lady of porn
from her heyday at Club Jenna. The cover put it like this: "Jenna
Jameson is THE MEGA adult film star of all time; THIS is the MEGA
release you have been waiting for! For the first time ever on DVD, see
Jenna with some of the industry's hottest stars including Nikita Denise
and Tawny Roberts. Witness some of the steamiest sex scenes Club Jenna
has ever captured on film. Jenna loves sex, Jenna loves her girlfriends
but most of all, Jenna Loves Justin." While the marketing hype was a bit
much even for a supporter like me, the movie had some hot scenes, some
of which I believe were previously only available from the company
website. Either way, the variety of women and amount of Jenna is scenes
here was certainly pleasing to this reviewer, even if I've watched much
of it before and hate the visual effects so often used. Jenna Loves

might not have had a lot of newly shot footage of the lovely Jenna
Jameson enjoying the worldly pleasures of carnal activity on the small
screen but it served up a nice selection of "Jenna Fuck" for the buck, a
solid cast, and plenty of lesbian action for fans wanting to see how
much Jenna loves the fairer sex herself. I rated it as
Recommended though your mileage will vary considerably depending
on how much you like Jenna and how many of the scenes you already own.
In short, Jenna Loves
Justin served a nice portion of heated action worth checking out
if you missed her work earlier in the millennium.

Sneak Peeks: Jack's Playground 33 & Jack's MILF
Show

Houston was lucky enough to score a couple of early titles by
powerhouse production company Digital
Playground before he ventures off on his yearly pilgrimage to porn
heaven in Las Vegas with Jack's Playground
33: featuring Robby as Jack, a scammer with his camera coaxing
willing ladies with his promise of fame, fortune, and employment in the
music video business. The action was all in good fun with a nice mix of
gals in a number of quality scenes. Jack's Playground
33 might not be as classic as some of the previous volumes but it
was still a solid entry that was well worth picking up for your
collection. I would've liked more footage with the lovely Shay Jordan,
better extras, and a lengthier movie but this was easy to rate as
Recommended thanks to the levels of fuck for the buck, the
ladies, and the competent handling by the production staff. It also has
new footage of Devon so her fans should consider this a must have as
she's been off the charts for awhile now, allowing some anticipation
build up before she starts shooting for another company. In short, Jack's Playground
33 was a lot of fun and provided raincoaters some quality stroking
material, showing some substantial replay value in the process.

He also took a look at a new twist in the Jack Empire with Jack's MILF
Show, showing us that The
Jack's Playground Series and all the related spin offs many of us
find so appealing these days can suit a wider audience as Robby expands
his scope. Well, in an effort to tackle yet another area of consumer
demand, he now branches out into the mother's I'd like to fuck (MILF)
genre, focusing his attention on women that aren't fresh out of high
school as so much of his work is geared towards, probably knowing that
older gals offer the kind of wild experience that newcomers typically
lack. The name of this curious little effort is Jack's MILF
Show, a series of scenes that I was curious about having seen
the cover online, noting that it comes out when I'll be hanging out with
the industry next year in an attempt to satiate your collective needs
for porn pictures at the convention. Granted, on first glance the ladies
were looking somewhat on the young side of MILF-dom but if you're still
interested, I think you will find a lot to enjoy here when it comes out
next month.

Highlights of The
Week


First up, we have Teens In Tight
Jeans 2: Vince Vouyer
has been in porn nearly as long as the ladies he hires to shoot scenes
with and despite what some of the haters claim, he does a fine job of
presenting them in his movies. He likes younger gals that need a little
coaxing to get the best work out of them (whereas other directors simply
settle for weaker scenes) and his batting average at Vouyer Media
is substantially better than anywhere else he has shot to date. His
latest release is Teens In Tight
Jeans 2, the sequel to Teens in Tight
Jeans 1; the series being about teenagers who wear tight jeans as
part of their tease. I wasn't too thrilled with the first volume in the
series (it was okay but not done by Vince and suffered as a result) but
those of you into lesser skilled youth will probably find it a lot
better than I did. This time, Vince pulled out all the stops to make it
a great show, succeeding more often then not in large part thanks to the
way he shoots scenes. Teens In Tight
Jeans 2 was a lot better then I expected it to be. The women were
almost all new to porn and sexually skilled, each proving to be 18 or 19
years old instead of the usual spin where they pretend to be that young.
For me, the technical values and extras elevated it to a high end
Recommended. In short, Teens In Tight
Jeans 2 should be on your list of post-Christmas presents to
pick up if you enjoy young hotties having sex on camera; even on your
must have list if you like the cast a lot.

Lovely reviewer Ravyn, found Black Cherry
Poppers to be among the best titles of the week: Five beautiful
fresh new faces to the industry, tease and taunt your desire for
chocolate covered cherries who are begging to be taken every way
possible stripped of their chocolate cherries forever. The soundtrack by
Pyro which was played during the open credits had a nice tempo to it and
I look forward to hearing more music from them hopefully a full track
next time. Though the ladies are still very new to the adult industry, I
look forward to them perfecting their skills in future titles. Still
overall it was refreshing to see new faces that light up the screen and
literally giving their all in ever sense of the word. What I did enjoy
was how the men also enjoyed working with these ladies. The scene with
Tyler Knight, Pursuajon and Nathan Threat had me busting out at the
seams with lines such as "pass the pussy" and fuck, fuck pass". It
seemed that everyone had a great time, even the director had his "hands"
in a few ladies.

We enjoyed going back to our roots once again with Perfect Pouts:
Special Edition: Jim Holliday
shuffled off this mortal coil about four years ago but he went out with
the proverbial bang for VCA Pictures;
making more movies in his last year or two then at any time in his
career. He finished off 2002 with Perfect Pouts:
Special Edition and Aces in the
Holes, made at the same time with Pouts being the subject of today's
review. The cover said it like this: "Aspiring actresses work at the
dingy Golden Dreams Cafe, serving winos with broken dreams, while
dreaming of the big break and silver screen stardom. Fans and critics
always seem to use the word "superior" when describing the sex in Jim
Holliday movies. Well, Perfect Pouts
provides offbeat banter leading to scenes that are one step above
Holliday's standards. It will rank as one of his truly oddball sleeper
gems..." The cast was a bit shy of his better work and some of the
pairings did not have the usual chemistry but there seemed to be other
issues going on at the same time too, marking it as a decent but not
superior effort. In short, Perfect Pouts:
Special Edition was a "bullshit little feature" according to the
director. The lighting was off at times and the editing did not seem up
to par for the guy but it was a solid package compared to many similar
features made at the same time.

Back from his hunts for the perfect porn, reviewer Colonel Mustard
came up with two you might enjoy, Rich Little
Bitch: from New Sensations chronicles storylines from how the upper
class lead their lives. They always want a little more than the luxury
they already so greedily enjoy. There are five scenes with six women on
this DVD. Nothing like watching those classy chicks fuck. It was a great
fantasy to see how the other half fucks before the eyes of the masses.
The DVD, shot in HD DVD, looked and sounded phenomenal, the sex was
extraordinarily hot and the women were fantastic. The bonus scene added
up to over three hours of mind-blowing sex. How can you go wrong?, and Hannah Goes to
Hell: Hannah is going directly to Hell for her lying, whoring and
cheatin' ways. This Sin City release directed by Jim Powers is two discs
worth of fun, fantasy, fucking and most important, blonde bombshell
Hannah Harper. The busty blonde cover girl is in every one of the five
sex scenes of this DVD. Thankfully, she has some hot talent to accent
her giant breasts and fantastic figure. This DVD is all about Hannah
Harper. She stars in every sexual scene on this DVD and looks fantastic
in the process of taking it up the ass or gobbling down nuts. If you're
a fan, this is total upside. To me, it would have made a bit more sense
to spread out the use of the cover girl. Maybe only in three of the five
scenes would have been sufficient. Variety is the spice of life, as they
say. I did enjoy the plot and some of the thing the director was trying
to do with the storyline. The sex, for the most part was super hot, and
the actors kept in character throughout the sex. The DVD looked and
sounded fantastic.

Fans of oiled up hotties will appreciate Ready Wet Go 3: Chris Streams
is one of my favorite directors at 3rd Degree,
often showing his technical acumen in slightly different ways then Mike
or Danny do. He skips the arty farty stuff and hones in on the best
features of his cast, typically enhancing their acts more then a little.
Today's review reminded me a lot of Big Wet Asses
with the emphasis on teasing and oiling up the body, with Ready Wet Go
3. I had missed the first two chapters in the series but found this
one to have a lot worth enjoying as the ladies from all walks of life
came out in skimpy attire, teased with lots of oil, and then had
hardcore sex. was a lot of fun. The levels of fuck for the buck, stroke
value and replayability enhanced a terrific cast to the point where I
rated it as Recommended but nearly increased it one more step.
Had either the first or last scene lived up to the ones in the middle or
the extras been better, I probably would have done so without
reservation though I'll be frank and admit that this was a solid flick
all the way around. In short, Ready Wet Go 3
was best when focusing on Kaylynn, Flower Tucci, or Monica Mattos but
you'll find it to address the oil gap shown by Third Degree very nicely
(I hope future efforts are as good). Give it a look and I doubt you'll
be disappointed.

Esteemed reviewer Namrufmot
appreciated them large breasted and lean with two titles this week: Young and Stacked
8: When I first popped this DVD in I wasn't expecting too much. With
only four scenes, no big time performers, and hardly any extras - it was
not a recipe for success. I'm glad to say that fears were disproved and
I was blown away by this title. The strength lies in the quality of the
girls. Not only are the attractive, but they really know how to put on a
great show, and Sweet & Petite
2: If I had to find one word to describe this title it would be
"value-packed". With a total of seven scenes (don't forget the bonus
scene you get plenty of fuck for your buck. If you're a fan of crazy,
intense, gonzo action this DVD will certainly please. If you're not sure
if you can handle this type of porn I recommend renting it first.

Newcomer director Marco Banderas is best known in front of the camera
but his release of P.O.V. For Your
Eyes Only may change that as: a point of view set of scenes that had
Marco boning the ladies, often with the assistance of a friend. POV is
as big a craze these days as it was a year ago and there are a lot of
fans out there that prefer strict POV titles (where you can't tell who
the guy is) just as a lot more who appreciate maximizing the screen
presence of the ladies while minimizing the men. That said, this was a
surprisingly decent outing by Marco, enough to interest me in what else
he has to offer. P.O.V. For Your
Eyes Only was a title I admit to thinking might be kind of artistic
or sucky by the artistic cover. Don't get me wrong; I thought Jasmine
Byrne looked fabulous on the cover but the image it conveyed to me was
of an arty farty porno that would take forever to get me hard. While it
had some rough edges, particularly the editing and a need for more tease
and extras, the DVD earned a rating of Recommended based on the
quality of the cast, the technical values overall, the levels of heat
and energy, and the amount of fuck for the buck in terms of stroke and
replay value. There was plenty going on that told me Marco might have a
career on both sides of the camera, even if he'll need to work at it to
really show he has what it takes to succeed. In short, P.O.V. For Your
Eyes Only was different then the cover broadcast to me (I'm a
seasoned porn consumer too) and I was happy that it had more to offer
than I suspected based on the cover alone.

Namrufmot also found a trio of tails worth pursing with Larry Flynt's
Private Collection 4: Hillary Scott, a showcase for Hillary
Scott in her scenes for Hustler (somewhat less appealing then her
work in Corruption and Britney Rears
3. If you're a fan of Hillary Scott you simply have town this DVD.
While they might not be her best scenes, the eight scenes included on
this disc are definitely enjoyable ad will hold up to repeated. There
isn't much else to say other than - BUY IT!; 2 On 1 #26:
I'll pretty much sum up this DVD the way I sum up all of Diabolic's
titles. If you're sure you can handle the often rough action then you'll
definitely enjoy it. If you're looking to watch it with your significant
other, or prefer more passionate sex, look elsewhere. 2 on 1 #26
provides plenty of value, attractive girls, and solid technical quality;
and No Swallowing
Allowed 10: This definitely isn't the type of DVD you want to bring
home to your wife. The action will probably be a little too intense for
the casual viewer. If you're positive you can handle watching this kind
of DVD then you'd be hard pressed to find one that gives you more value.
Whether you're a collector of the series, or looking for a new gonzo
title, consider adding this one to your collection.

Grudge Fuck 7:
The idea of the series is to showcase attractive ladies having sex with
their man after the couples have fights over relatively trivial matters.
If you've ever been in a relationship with someone hell-bent on using
female logic to mind fuck you, you'll know what I'm speaking of when I
speak of grudge based sex. The cover said it like this: "Now is the time
to put that bad temper to good use. These 5 fiery scenes of sexual
vengeance are all designed to get your blood boiling and help you
explode... the right way. This Grudgefuck starts with a little anger
banging and ends with an explosion of carnal rage so, if you like sex
charged with a bit of spite and hostility, you've come to the right
place." It was a hot piece of work with a fine cast so fans will be
pleased at how well the sex was in the movie. Grudge Fuck 7
came close to being highly recommended based on the levels of grudgefuck
per buck, the casting, and the technical qualities in combination with
the sexual heat but even the use of anamorphic widescreen couldn't
sharpen the picture as shot and some of the guys seemed like third tier
mope squad members on the loose so I ended up settling on rating it as
Recommended. In short though, Grudge Fuck 7
had some fun with the premise of the grudge fuck theme and this
addressed one of my main concerns from previous volumes (the great
casting addressed the other). If the picture gets better with the next
volume, I can see a higher rating being earned by David but it was still
a LOT better then I had heard it was based on early reports.

We close out this week with a look at a title reviewed last month. Don
had a technical glitch with his copy and thankfully found an unscratched
copy to fully review with The Great American
Squirt Off. Those of you that have read my reviews know I am one of
the many folks both in and out of the medical profession that aren't
believers in "squirting" as displayed by the gals letting loose
tremendous volumes of fluids from their vaginas (other than urine). The
movie started off with a self serving bit that made it seem like the
controversy was over in that regard and the bottom line is that fans can
enjoy it however they desire, regardless of the facts, for all I care.
The point of porn is to provide stroke material, not debate medical
fallacies, and that said, you'll find a lot to like if you're into
squirting thanks to some awesome casting. The technical values varied
somewhat but my newly acquired copy that wasn't scratched up played just
fine so based on the hot Flower scenes and a few others, I figured this
one was worth a Recommended. The back cover of the DVD said it
like this: "With all the squirters out there how are you suppose to know
which girl gets the wettest? We made it simple by taking 6 of the
ultimate squirters and having them gush it out in the ring to finally
decide who is "The Great American Squirter". Our cameras will take you
so close to all the ringside mayhem, pussy gushing, ass reaming and
throat stuffing ... you'll need a towel to dry off. In this no-holes
barred fuck competition Celeb judges decide who wears the crown by
measuring distance, size of orgasm and so much more. Place your bets now
in the wettest squirt competition ever!" I hope they try something a
little more polished next time but in all, The Great American Squirt Off
was a lot of fun, even if it assumes a lot for the concept called
squirting. Fans of Flower Tucci might feel cheated as she totally ruled
in the show, tying for first place in a split decision, but it was all
in the spirit of good, wet fun, much like porn is supposed to be
(although maybe not quite this wet).

Vintage Porn: Top Ten Titles for
2006

2006 has been a big year for dirty movies all the way around. We've seen
directors and talent move from one stable to another, we've seen new
labels and sub labels crop up and make a difference, and most
importantly (at least for some of us) we've seen an excellent selection
of older classics either released on DVD for the first time or
re-released in new and improved special editions. Here's a quick look at
some of the best titles that this last year had to offer, noting that we
went back a bit further in a few cases where we thought it made sense...

1. Devil in Miss
Jones: Definitive Collector's Edition: Minor complaints aside
(the transfer should have been anamorphic), this is an all around
excellent release. The Devil In Miss Jones deserves all of the
accolades of praise it's received over the last three decades thanks to
Spelvin's scorching performance and Damiano's artistic and intelligent
direction. It is great to see it finally get a proper release with nice
audio and video and some interesting extra features and the interview
and commentary track on this release alone make it a must own. (Full Review by

2. Deep Throat
(WMV-HD): Again, despite the glaring omission of an
anamorphically enhanced transfer and the questionable matting of the
image, this Windows Media high-def DVD release of Damiano's classic
Deep Throat comes up with pretty high marks all around. The movie
looks and sound very nice and the extras, while not mind-blowingly
revelatory, are a nice touch. The feature itself? It holds up really
well, thirty plus years after the fact, and it remains a fun and sexy
hours worth of fun XXX entertainment. This is the film that started it
all, and every classic smut fan needs to own a copy. (Full Review by

3. Insatiable:
Goddamn Marilyn Chambers was hot, hot, hot back in her glory days and
she's never been hotter than she is in Insatiable. While the film
had a decent release a few years back, this two disc set adds a second
(and very interesting) commentary track and oodles more to an improved
audio/video presentation to make for one of the best vintage releases of
the year. Anyone who thinks that seventies porno can't be just as hot as
the modern fuck films we all love and enjoy needs to give
Insatiable a chance - there are better made porno movies of the
era out there, but few that reach the levels of intensity that we see

4. Taboo: Special
Collector's Edition: While this is pretty much just a port of
their original release, Standard Digital has done old school porno fans
a favor by putting the original Taboo special edition back in
print. Kay Parker is the original MILF and she's never been sexier than
she is in this film. The presentation is nice and the commentary track
with Parker and Stevens makes for an entertaining and even rather
educational listen. The film, like most successful adult movies, spawned
a few sequels and some of them weren't bad but none of them can truly
hold a candle to the original. (Full Review by

5. Debbie Does
Dallas: Definitive Collector's Edition: While Debbie Does
Dallas is far from the best dirty movie of the era, it was hugely
influential and it did have quite an impact. The way-too-cute Bambi
Woods is likeable enough in the lead and the mystery around her
disappearance makes the movie more interesting than it would be
otherwise. Kitty Media has done a very solid job on this two-disc
release and while it isn't perfect it is a big step up from other home
video incarnations and vintage smut fans should enjoy the package,
particularly the commentary track which is a great time capsule of the

6. Beverly Hills
Cox: While the extra features on this release are pretty much
disposable (par for the course with Cabellero, sadly), at least the
movie is transferred reasonably well and there aren't any authoring
problems. The feature itself holds up extremely well, and Beverly
Hills Cox is a superlative example of mid-eighties porno filmmaking
at its best. The film strikes the perfect balance of camp and genuine
heat and for Ginger Lynn fans it doesn't get much better than this. A
great cast of name performers, hot sex, a fun if disposable story and
some goofy music all add up to a good time, and a good time always comes

7. Great
Sexpectations: Both Hustler and Adam Film World raved about
Great Sexpectations when it was a new release, and now that it's
out on DVD, it's time for X Critic to rave about it too. The film is a
really effective blend of humor, sex and intrigue with a fine cast and
strong direction. VCA's disc could have looked and sounded better and it
should have had more supplements, but if the movie is all you're after
this release fits the bill fine and comes recommended and it's worth it
just for the three way with Eric Edwards, Kelly Nichols and Chelsea

8. Ecstasy In
Blue: This 1976 directorial effort from Armand Weston has the
kind of cast that fans of old porno get huge boners over! C.J. Laing?
Annie Sprinkle? Marc Stevens? Terri Hall? All great performers of
legendary status in the industry - and for good reason! An excellent XXX
classic, Ecstasy In Blue manages to be creepy (yes, creepy!),
funny and sexy all at the same time. A fantastic cast, some hot sex, and
a really bizarre storyline make this one very much a worthwhile endeavor
for the aficionado of vintage filth despite the lackluster presentation
it's received on DVD. (the transfer isn't so hot and the extras are

9. Blonde in Black
Silk: The premise behind this 1979 offering from director Philip
T. Drexler Jr. is a simple one, but it works. In a nutshell, Serena
plays a French Contessa with a taste for all things carnal. To satisfy
her urges, she uses her wealth and influence to host orgies but soon
finds she has the travel bug and she starts searching out fantastic
sexual encounters the world over. Good sex, a fun cast (with plenty of
attention given to Serena), and a decent plot make Blonde In Black
Silk a worth addition to the collection of any old school porno
aficionado. Video X Pix's presentation is far from perfect (which sadly
seems to be the case with most of their releases) but it's watchable and

Odyssey: The third titled from Gerard Damiano to make the top
ten list, 1979's Odyssey is a supposed trip through the erotic.
Bridged together by a few conversation scenes that take place in a
swanky discothèque, the film strings along one sex scene after another,
the movie is well paced, well shot, and even rather inventive at times.
It takes a good fifteen minutes of talking, loose plot development and
characterization to finally get to the sex, but it sets things up nicely
and once it starts moving, Odyssey gets fairly warm, even hot at
times! Damiano made more movies than just Deep Throat and it's
nice to see some more of his material surfacing on DVD even if the
presentation for this one could have been better. This is a well made
and erotic adult film that benefits from a recognizable cast of golden
age performers, which earns a solid recommendation with the caveat that
it probably won't appeal to people only familiar with gonzo or more

Alt-Porn: Top Ten Titles for 2006

Love it or hate it, 'Alt Porn' was in this year. While the movement has
been growing over the last couple of years, 2006 was when it hit the big
time with major releases from Pulse, VCA, and of course, the launch of
the Vivid
Alt sub-label. Not everyone likes their girls inked up and fucking to
wacky music and not everyone likes the sense of humor that much of this
material incorporates into its aesthetic, but those of us who find this
latest trend an appealing change had a lot to enjoy this year. Here's a
look at ten of the best and/or most interesting...

1. Neu Wave
Hookers: One of the first major releases of 2006 was a
're-envisioning' of an old VCA classic thanks to Eon McKai. Pure,
unadulterated XXX pop art, Neu Wave Hookers is a completely
refreshing breath of fresh air in what is sometimes a very stagnant and
redundant industry. Eon McKai's direction and cinematography are both
completely gorgeous, and this movie proves to be some of the sweetest
eye candy to ever show up in the porno business. VCA's three disc set
looks and sounds great and while it would have been nice to see the
original feature cleaned up a bit for this re-release, that's really the
only minor complaint one can justifiably levy against this otherwise
very fine set. Is it worth the DVD Collector's Talk seal of approval?
Damn straight it is. Besides, where else are you going to see Dana
DeArmond do a hot Tracy Lords impression and Tommy Pistol dance with

2. Girls
Lie: Naturally hot women, well shot and well edited sex scenes,
a great soundtrack, interesting locations and a rather clever little way
of tying it all up combine to make Girls Lie one of the sexiest
and more interesting porno titles to come out this year. Vivid Alt's
package looks and sounds really good and the extra features are
interesting and plentiful making this one completely worthy of its
highly recommended rating. This one is worth it for Charlotte Stokely
and Riley Mason but through a few other fine foxes and a cameo in the
making of documentary from X Critic's own Geoff Kleinman and you've got

3. Atomic Vixens:
Escape From The Valley Of The Sluts: If the 'alt-porn' trend is
floating your boat, you'll get a kick out of Atomic Vixens - Escape
From The Valley Of The Sluts. The girls are all gorgeous, the sex
is steamy but playful and fun, and the plot, while completely stupid, is
at least marginally entertaining. Some obvious care went into this
production as is evident by the production values and there's a nice
sense of retro-camp to the whole thing that makes it work. VCA's disc
look and sounds quite nice, and the extras are decent, especially the
very solid documentary, though there probably could have been more
effort put into that portion of the release. Marie Luv and Justine Joli

4. Skater Girl
Fever: Dave Naz's Skater Girl Fever starts off with the
camera following a terry cloth clad gal wandering down the street with
her board. From there we see clips of the girls from the film kissing
and goofing around - it's very candid and informal and not at all like
you'd expect a porno movie to start out like. Tommy Pistol shows up clad
in some red Chuck Taylor's and flubs a few skate tricks and James Deen
leers at some of his co-stars while Leah Luv blows bubbles with her gum
and the camera captures her big, pretty eyes. It builds really nicely.
We know that the sex is going to start but before we get there, Naz
teases us a little bit to build up our anticipation. It's a nice trick,
it's far more effective than just thrusting a fuck scene upon us, and
the odd camera angels show off the man's experience and technique very
nicely. The credits scrawl across the screen and Christie Lee talks to
Nadia Styles about what she and will not do in their scene with Tommy.
Once that's over with, the show starts and what a show it is. Naz's
skill with a camera is evident from the get-go. An excellent combination
of naturally sexy women, hot sex, and kink all shot really well and set
to a great batch of songs, Skater Girl Fever isn't your everyday
run of the mill smut film. It's artistic without being pretentious, it's
completely hot without being too intensely dirty and most importantly
it's fun. Getting Andre Williams and The Dwarves on the soundtrack was a

5. The Rebelle
Rousers: It's no secret that a lot of the 'alt porn' guys that
were starting to build up a following over at VCA took off when Vivid
gave them a shot at starting their own line, entitled appropriately
enough, Vivid Alt. Winkytiki (with Eon McKai of executive producing),
the same man who guest directed a scene in Ron Royster's Atomic
Vixens release through VCA launched the Vivid Alt line in style with
his take on fifties juvenile delinquent movies and drive-in grindhouse
fare... The ReBelle Rousers. It's hardcore, make no mistake about
it, but like that earlier feature it's shot with an eye for detail and
makes use of some great sets and fantastic background music so that the
end result, while being completely balls out in terms of how graphic it
gets and how hot the sex is, manages to be more than a simple document
of people fucking. The ReBelle Rousers is sexy, fun, and really
well made. There's an obvious attention to detail in here that you don't
see in a lot of porno movies past or present, and the art direction is
second to none. With so many great visuals you'd think that it might
overshadow the sex, which is really what we're all here to see, but it
doesn't, it just accentuates it nicely. The extras are enjoyable and the
movie looks and sounds good, and Goddamn is Kimberly Kane ever hot. (Full Review by

6. Blacklight
Beauty: Director Jack The Zipper continued to sail into very
strange territory this year with Blacklight Beauty. It stars an
attractive cast of established and up and coming ladies (look for a lot
of the Burning Angel crew here), features some creative set
design and some hot sex, a lot of strange ideas and bizarre shots, and
is at least trying for something different. Though there are mistakes
made along the way (clowns are not hot, they're fucking scary -
pornmakers please take note!), the good outweighs the bad. If you've
enjoyed any of the Burning Angel stuff or some of the more recent Pulse
titles like Naked And Famous then the odds are pretty good that
you'll dig Blacklight Beauty a fair bit. It's a really slick
blend of over the top style and hot, hardcore sex. The clowns, well,
they wouldn't have been missed to be honest but the rest of this package
is quality stuff - not to mention, you get two, count 'em two, scenes
with Riley Mason in them. (Full Review by

7. Joanna's Angels
2: Alt Throttle: Burning Angel's lovely ladies took a second
trip to the big time with this sequel release from VCA. While
technically Joanna's Angels 2: Alt. Throttle, like its
predecessor, would fall into the feature category, the content outside
of the sex scenes is really nothing more than a series of loosely
connected gags that kinda-sorta tell a very basic story around which to
string the sex scenes. Once again, however, it works. If you dug the
first movie, this is more of the same flavor - it's fairly light and
playful but manages to deliver some seriously solid hardcore sex from a
bevy of beautiful women. It's high quality sex with silly lowbrow comedy
and it's just plain fun. The performances range from above average to
absolutely hot and the storyline, while hardly mind blowing, serves its
purpose and provides a lot of laughs along the way. The disc looks and
sounds pretty good and VCA has thrown in some nice extra features as
well. And is that Rancid playing on the soundtrack? Yep, it sure is. The

8. Joanna Angels'
Guide To Humping: Joanna Angel's latest directorial effort is
Joanna Angel's Guide 2 Humping (or as it's referred to in the
film a few times, Joanna Angel's Fucking Guide To Fucking which
was the original title for the film). The premise behind this one is
that Joanna Angel is hosting a few seminars where she'll teach her
students the ins and outs of sex. Whoever gets the best mark at the end
of the class gets the chance to try out their technique on her. Most of
the Burning Angel regulars are here like Kylee Kross, James Deen and the
always funny Tommy Pistol and there are a few lesser seen performers
here as well like Hayley Paige (who we should see more of) and Chapel
Waste (again, more please!). In between sex scenes we see the students
and their teacher in the classroom and we get to sit in on Joanna's
lessons, all of which prove to be pretty funny. This is one of those
rare porno movies that really does do a great job of mixing up the sex
scenes with the non-sex scenes, which just adds a lot more to the entire
production. In short, it's really hot, and it's a whole lot of fun. Five
hot scenes featuring some of the cutest girls working in front of the
camera today combined with some truly enjoyable humor and a clever,
playful concept earned Joanna Angel's Guide 2 Humping the ol'

9. Naked And
Famous: This release isn't going to be for everyone,
particularly if you like your gonzo style porn straight up without any
art direction or experimental attempts at trying something new (and if
you do there's nothing wrong with that, it's just that this release
isn't geared for that market). Those who are willing to accept some
strange visual choices and look past a few scenes that are just flat out
over done will find some genuinely erotic action underneath it all.
Pulse's release of Naked And Famous looks and sounds decent
enough and contains some interesting extras, which is enough to warrant
a recommendation, and if that doesn't do it for you, well, there's
always the fact that Kimberly Kane appears in most of the scenes on this
disc. The visuals get to be a little much at times, but the sex is hot
and the girls look great. (reviews of Naked

10. The
XXXorcist: After the success of last year's Re-Animator
spoof (aptly titled Re-Penetrator, it had to go without saying
that the Burning Angel team would reunite with director Douglas Sakman
for a follow up - and kids, that time has come with the release of this
latest horror-porno parody, The XXXorcist with Tommy Pistol as
the priest and Joanna Angel as the possessed girl who needs the evil
fucked out of her. The movie certainly isn't going to be for all tastes
- you can't pull it while watching this one (or if you can, you need
help) but the movie is compelling. It's completely twisted, utterly
hilarious, and Burning Angel has stacked the disc with plenty of quality
extra features. If you dug Re-Penetrator or dig the whole 'gorno'
thing, consider this one highly recommended. Just make sure you bring
