Spotlight Title: Ass Worship 9

Here at X Critic we pride ourselves on scouring scores of porn to find the titles you might appreciate the most so we are pleased to put our spotlight on Ass Worship 9 from Jules
Jordan Video this week. Reviewer Don Houston found much to like here, saying: "Jules
Jordan has been one of the most popular gonzo directors in recent memory for a host of reasons, including how well he adds in tease footage, gets great performances out of performers, and shows just enough kink to keep his lengthy offerings interesting. Now that he has left the Evil Angel Empire, some fans have expressed concern that he would fade away or otherwise stop providing the kind of great porn he has done in the past, something others have suggested should not be the case since the company was only a distributor for his work, adding in nothing on their own. Well, today's review of his latest winning title, Ass Worship 9, shows how the sequel to Ass Worship 8 proved Jules to still be on the ball as he mumbled directions and provided some incredible ass-themed scenes to fans for repeated enjoyment. Jules is an acquired taste but if you enjoy what he offers, this will serve as the perfect example of value in terms of quality and quantity of sexual misconduct. Each scene has extensive tease that properly showcases the cast, the technical values were decent, and I seriously doubt anyone will be disappointed by the over 5 hours of action. It served as a showcase for Naomi second only to Naomi: There's Only One but there was a whole lot more quality anal action by some of the finest contenders to the anal queen throne here as well. The amounts of fuck for the buck truly meet the advertised "2 Movies worth of ass fucking" from the front cover and aside from some minor technical flaws, the action was decidedly a couple of cuts above the majority of titles on the market. For me then, this was a high end Highly Recommended that nearly elevated to the highest rating I could give thanks to all it had to offer. In summary, Ass Worship 9 will put to rest the fears of fans that Jules Jordan couldn't make it on his own. There are better titles for those in need of specific fetishes but in terms of overall passion, heat, and chemistry, Jules was in fine form yet again."

Sneak Peeks: Deeper 2 and Teradise Island

We had two more early looks at complete titles this week, starting with Deeper 2; a title that reviewer Don
Houston seemed to enjoy a lot, saying "Robby
D. is the most prolific director for the vaunted Digital
Playground these days; serving in some capacity on all their shoots thanks to his keen eye, steady hand, and technical skill. Robby has been experimenting a lot of late as he seeks out new ways of conveying sexual tension and heat in a very crowded market; succeeding most times in addressing a particular market niche (he does it all, does it well, and doesn't rely on the same tricks all the time to keep it interesting).
Today's advance review is of Deeper 2, the thematic sequel to Deeper 1, where the cast of ladies all seem to want the men to hammer them increasingly deeper as they provide a cross between the erotic Celeste style and the more gonzo Robby style that the director shoots. The entire female cast were "A List" talent and the primary selling point was clearly the beautiful contract star Teagan
Presley; a flawless beauty who looks better every time I see her."

Next up for release later this month was our early review of the Spyder

Patrick to the glories of anal sex. Don described it as having:
"lush tropical locations, great eye candy, and Tera giving her best anal performance to date. Highlights of The Week

First up was our look at Eye Candy: Camp Fuck-A-Lot; a collection of two movies, one being a classic as yet unreleased on DVD. The movie was a tribute to the late Jim Holliday by director Dale Jordan for VCA Pictures.
It used some of the standard Jim techniques and added Dale's own mannerisms though if VCA really wants to start a new line of Holliday movies, all they have to do is give Jill Kelly a call (arguably the leading lady of most of his later works and gal most capable of carrying on his traditions). The future aside, the movie was about a summer camp for girls that leads them to having various forms of sex as the main way to fight boredom. Eye Candy: Camp Fuck-A-Lot might not have been a true homage to legendary director Jim Holliday in terms of exactly copying his style but it was still fun, breezy, and well worth checking out for fans (especially to get a copy of the original Eye Candy). I rated it as Recommended for the quality of the entire package, with some nice fuck for the buck displayed in both movies, decent production values, and a wide range of ladies to present for fans of the genre. That said, the double disc package was a solid value and I hope to see future tributes handled as nicely as this one was.

Mustard appreciated a bit of decadent fun with the Anal
Xcavators; saying "This Red Light District release features some really blatant disregard for woman's rights, portraying women like treating the women like pieces of meat. I know I'm going to hell, but I really liked it. Director Martin Del Toro created the fantasy of captive women whose sole purpose was to be tied in a closet awaiting their captor's next sexual need. Some of the scenes were a little too violent for my taste, but the fantasy aspect was very enjoyable and entertainingly different. I will /Recommend* */and this DVD to anyone who's particular fetishes involves binding and borderline sexual slavery."

We noticed a new company hawking their wares with Bodacious
Boobies by Combat Zone, a new company recently founded by the original founder of Red Light District, Dion Giarrusso. He named the company after my old romping grounds in Boston, setting out to get back into porn after selling his interest in RLD/PXP to his brother David a few years ago. Dion seems intent on re-entering the industry after the expiration of his 2 year no compete clause, finding the business a completely different place than when he left in back in 2003. I know he has the snap to make it in the competitive times (he carved out a huge niche by becoming a distributor rather than producer of porn) but only time will tell if he can offer something better than that of the now established multitude of gonzo companies flooding the market. The first release I picked up was Bodacious
Boobies by director Toni Ribas, a tribute to gals with large breasts. One look at the cover was enough to sell me on giving it a whirl and while there were some rough edges, I have a feeling Dion is about to reinvent the porno wheel. Bodacious
Boobies provided exactly what the cover suggested; large ample chests on (mostly) attractive gals that engaged in hardcore sex with a variety of nuances. It wasn't exactly a trend setter but it showed me that Toni as a director has been improving and his selection of ladies has never been better. There was a lot of fuck for the buck and the production values were sufficiently improved to rate this one as Recommended. I hope to see if other releases by the company are as good, or maybe even better, given the rumors circulating about some breakthrough work by Dion and his upcoming stable of directors. That said, I welcome Dion back to porn and hope he can lead the masses to making better porn; just like he did when starting up RLD/PXP.

The
Mooninite told us about a stylish title or three too. "Without much of a narrative to give context to the ultra stylish fucking on display in Andrew Blake's 1990 Cabellero Production, House of Dreams, let it suffice to say that it's basically a document of Zara White's journey into sexual ecstasy. We're not really sure if what happens takes place in the physical realm or in her mind, but either way, it doesn't matter as it works as simple bridge from one scene to the next and the strong cast of women lined up for the film more than make up for whatever logic gaps might be painfully obvious. Andrew Blake's sexy exercise in erotic style over substance gets a mediocre release. The movie itself holds up well, has a good cast, some interesting and, at times, quite hot sex shot with an artisan's eye for detail and kink. It* *isn't Blake's best film but it was a pretty influential movie and despite the mediocre quality, this release come recommended on the strength of the material itself", Beverly Hills Cox, "Ginger Lynn, smoking hot in her prime here in this Caballero film from 1986, plays a private eye named Susie Cox who struts around in blue short-shorts and a pink vinyl top. When we meet her, she's on a case trying to bust a married man who is cheating on his wife. Beverly Hills Cox gives you everything that you'd want and more than you'd expect from a vintage porno. It's shot on film on good sets, it has a wealth of camp appeal and unintentional humor from the bad acting and horrible dialogue, and the sex is plentiful and hot. The plot stinks but it serves its purpose, it holds your attention, and the sex actually
(almost) always makes sense in the context of the story," and Anal Swine V1, "More punk porn? Sort of, at least, there's a cross over element present in this title, once again from the twisted mind of Rob Rotten no less.
This time around Rotten is channeling the perverted spirit of the late Hunter S. Thompson for his opening scene and for the cover art, which adds a fun sense of humor to the feature. But let's got on with it â€" no plot, no real recurring themes, just lots of pretty girls getting fucked in the ass. The girls look great, they fuck hard, and it comes recommended."

Reviewer Don Houston, an admirer of fine female ass, appreciated Apple Bottemz 2 by director Chris
Streams, saying it was; "a title that showcases gals who do anal and have nicely fleshy asses that look like hearts more than apples. It had a diverse selection of ladies to offer with some heated fuck for the buck too. I liked the amount of tease most of the scenes had and while they weren't entirely consistent, many of the scenes seemed to have solid stroke value incorporating replay value to so I gave it a rating of Recommended. If you're a fan of hot women engaging in gonzo sex, you will probably enjoy Apple Bottomz 2 more than a little bit thanks to the direction of Chris Streams though obviously as a result of the selection of curvy ladies in the cast.

Namrufmot told us about a quartet of titles too; including Tight Teen

Liss left a puddle after watching Desperate Wives 2, writing; "It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...ok...this isn't Mr. Roger's neighborhood but these neighbors are very nice and friendly with each other. As in all neighborhoods, there is a nosy ghost who keeps tabs on everyone else to see how the neighborhood has changed since they were alive. I liked this movie, although I think the "ghost" aspect was lost until the end of the movie. The "ghost" was dressed in blue jeans, a blue zip-up jacket, and an "old lady" funky hat. Other than that, the movie was great. The scene with Nicole, Eva, and Voodoo was very hot, and I recommend this one to all you naughty guys and dolls!"

While we haven't seen any of the newest titles by the company in a long time College Invasion 9 was a hit with Don, who said: "Shane's World has long been a fixture in porn for the way they shoot reality TV style sex instead of the generic formulas that the rest of the industry provides. The inclusion of civilians in the scenes, even if just a quick blowjob or handjob, provides a completely different experience for viewers that tosses aside the stale attributes of modern porn for a unique experience. The company takes risks and has been in trouble in the past but this is all part of the fun. The latest release of theirs I got to review was College Invasion 9; from the series where the company sends a cast of hotties to fraternity parties across the country to mix it up with contests, twisted sexual antics, and all the fun of the regular series. College Invasion 9 was a fun episode in the series and proved worthy of being Recommended for the large amounts of fun factor and fuck for the buck. The ladies were having fun and the inclusion of the busty brunette added something special, even if she was a ringer as some on the internet have suggested. If you enjoy unscripted porn that doesn't act like everyone else, College Invasion 9 may well be worth your hard earned dollars and hard stroked semen."

Disco Dirge had a duo of daunting titles with Anal
Aristocrats; "Directed by Professianals auteur Denis Marti with the same flare for hardcore humping that he brings to that noted series, this five scene collection of carnal fireworks has some of the most intense, aggressive sexual interaction in modern adult films. But it's not the potency of the porking so much as the passion of the performers.
They are not just putting on a show here. They really get into the gratuity, making scenes already wild and wicked wet with wantonness. Far more hardcore than XXX, Marti's movies explore the animalistic aspects of arousal, the joy in unbridled balling for the sheer pleasure of personal eros. All his foreign fascinations aside, Denis Marti can direct some mighty powerful porn, and this excellent example of Euro-tantric tool and twat easily earns a Highly Recommended rating", and The Da Vinci Load; "In the world of difficult adult cinematic combinations, sex and the spoof seem like perfect partners. Unlike that icky, odd alt-porn that seems to thrive on a combination of nastiness and nookie, films like Space Nuts and The Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre have used humor to highlight humping with relative ease. In light of the recent box office atrocity known as The Da Vinci Code, we now get its hardcore equivalent, and the approach taken is more mockery than mystery. In fact, director Jerome Tanner views his Dan Brown send-up an Airplane! level burlesque loaded with nonstop jokes, cartoonish performances and enough additional elements of Eros to make the entire experience extra-special. It the sex had been more stimulating, if the humor hadn't undermined the hardcore along the way, The Da Vinci Load would easily earn a higher score. As it stands, this decent XXX diversion is awarded a Recommended. You'll have fun here, even if you laugh more than launch your loads.

Don pointed out a title that had a harder than average edge with Sex Slaves: "Platinum X Pictures has been one of the gonzo companies in the last few years that has impressed me for the amount of circus act sex they have shown; often not making the ladies look lame as some of the other extreme companies seem to do but getting better than average performances out of them all the same. Director Jake Malone (Sample
Works) is best known in this regard and while he just announced that he's leaving the company for Evil Angel, he still has plenty of titles to be released such as Sex
Slaves. The idea of the movie is much like that of most of Jake's "deviations" in that he treats the women like shit in an effort to elevate his own status as the nasty old dude who can fuck with women that'd kick him in the nuts in real life unless they were paying him premium rates. I don't always like Jake's style but he does manage to cater to the abuse gonzo market as well as anyone else you may know (Max Hardcore, JM Productions, Extreme Associates) so if you want to see premium pussy and ass get the kind of abuse the other companies show with substandard gals, you'll like this one. I thought most of the women were skilled at conveying the kind of heated performances Jake needs to stay a step ahead of the competition. Most of you will either love it or hate it though so read the breakdowns of the scenes to decide what works best for you, keeping in mind that there was a lot of abuse fuck for the buck for those into the rough stuff."

New reviewer Justine De Sade took a walk on the wild side with The Bitch Got Balls, suggesting: "It's sex ahoy when trannies, chicks, and guys get together to fuck their brains out. Oh boy! This was my first she-male movie. (Yeah, I know I'm out of the loop.) I wasn't sure what to expect from it. I mean, chicks with dicks? Boys with breasts? What the hell? Anyway, XCartel's /The Bitch Got Balls/ has opened my eyes to the wonders of she-male porn. Whether you're looking for your first she-male flick or just want to add another title to add to your collection, this movie is definitely worth a look.
