Wicked Blockbuster Pack, Ravenous and Jesse Jane Strikes Back

Given the way many companies cut corners to save pennies these days, it's rare to find top end titles bundled up such as the Wicked Blockbuster Pack. Consisting of three of the biggest hits from the Wicked
Pictures vaults; Space Nuts, Conquest, and Curse Eternal, the package added a fourth disc of extras but covered all of the major genres for feature porn nonetheless. Curse Eternal presented a big budget thriller in the vein of the recent mainstream The Mummy flicks starring Brendon Fraser, Space Nuts offered up a futuristic parody borrowing from numerous television shows and movies, and Conquest has been the leading high seas Pirate movie for ten years. With a combination so sweet, could there really be another choice for the spotlight pick this week?

The movies themselves clock in at over seven and a half hours, contain numerous extras such as hilarious commentary tracks (Conquest is the recently remastered version complete with all the extras while the other two cut out the second extras discs in favor of lowering the price
substantially) and extended scenes, with the fourth disc providing 3 bonus scenes from other releases; Erotik's scene between Kaylani Lei and Tommy Gunn; Eternity's scene between Stormy Daniels and Jessica Drake; and Between the Sheets scene between Kirsten Price and Barrett Blade.
Each was a welcome edition to the mix, though not extras directly tied to the package itself or the movies inside it. Then there were three trailers from each of the company contract directors Brad Armstrong, Jonathan Morgan, Michael Raven, David Stanley, and Stormy Daniels. There were then biographies for six of the Wicked
Pictures contract ladies and the four male directors. This was followed by a short montage of footage from the 2005 AEE show lasting all of one and a half minutes (far too short), and a Wicked DVD catalog.
If you haven't seen fit to pick up these three hits already, your patience has been rewarded with the cost effective Wicked Blockbuster Pack now out and if it is as successful as it should be, expect to see a number of similar features bundled in the future. The possibilities are almost endless given the sheer number of quality features the company has produced over the last decade and we look forward to seeing what they come up with next, with reviewer Don Houston looking forward to seeing their future release of The Visitors as the title to beat during awards season.

The extras were weak and I got the impression that this was going to be released as a single DVD set (with part one in the package) but someone decided to split it up and make some extra bucks. I leaned towards giving it a lower rating until I figured out the amount of hardcore material on the DVD was more plentiful than most gonzo today so I gave it a break but in fairness, Christoph did display the kind of directorial skill that landed him the gig in the first place."

Mustard found the porn homage to a mainstream hit in Sex City, saying it: "is everything that an adult DVD should be, and a reminder of everything the vast majority of pornography is not. There is an entertaining script, special effects, three hours of incredibly hot sex and a director attempting to try something new. I enjoyed the changing of color schemes during the sex, and felt like it didn't detract from the sexual intensity of the scene. This is the first part of three Sex City stories, and frankly, I cannot wait until part 2 arrives. Private's world renown director, Pierre Woods has taken the storyline and re-created it for a hardcore sexual version of the movie. There are over nine scenes and three hours of intelligent dialogue, streaming sex and splashes of violence."

The ravenous Ravyn then described in great detail the strengths and weaknesses of Dude, Your Girlfriend is in a Porno 3: "provides every man with the ongoing insatiable fantasy of having their girlfriend acting in a porno. We even find the typical girl next door enjoying herself as she is filmed sucking and fucking to her hearts content, while the boyfriend's friends get off watching her. This DVD has its merits to stand on its own. The bonus scene was very well done and the replay value alone on that should make this a keeper to some.

Ravenous "was director Nikki Hunter's second movie and it was just as powerful as the first (Psychotic),
earning a rating of Highly Recommended. The extras were light but the movie itself had a lot of fuck for the buck, quantity, and the quality of sexual performances by a cast of very skilled lades was great. The replay factor of the scenes will truly appeal to those with sick, twisted minds, working for those of us who are jaded and numb to jump start our libidos. In short, Ravenous was extremely heated and I can see why the XRCO named her as performer of the year; shooting for quality over popularity in one of the better recent calls" and Kami Andrews Who Let the Whores Out? 2: "worth a rating of Recommended by me for the quality of the technical values, the cast, and the decent extras. Three of the scenes were top notch and the other two were of lesser value or I'd have been elevating the rating a notch. Kami has the ability to make even a jaded old porn hound like me a believer that looks are secondary to the sexual skill of the cast and I hope she continues to improve on her skills as a director. The movie was a decent release though the weaker scenes dragged it down more than a little bit. In terms of overall quality though, Kami has yet to reach all of her untapped potential and I long to see the day when she provided a consistently solid DVD (with five great scenes or more)."

provided a second opinion of Don's look at Caribbean Heat with her own, err, musings in Caribbean
Heat: "This summer, embark on an adventure that boasts exotic locales and sizzling passion. Or, what the heck, stay at home and watch some primo porn. With Candida Royalle's Caribbean Heat, you can do both.
A continuation of the atmospheric erotic fantasy captured in "Urban Heat," one of the debut features released through Candida's Femme Productions, this film takes the viewer on a virtual journey to the bountiful beaches and radiant sunsets of the Caribbean. And, drat it, Goldenmuse is as jealous as all get out! Even she doesn't score this many hot studs on vacation. Indeed, hunks aplenty are on display in Caribbean Heat, and in scenarios that are sure to capture any woman's fantasy. Lush and sumptuous, it's a real 'trip' for the senses."

I thought that four of the five ladies had sufficient replay value to give this one a rating of Recommended, or even better if you are as much a fan as I am, and I hope that director Axel Braun is discovered by some of you as worthy of attention given the manner in which he can often turn in a solid scene if given half a chance."

Open Set: "a showcase for the lovely Lanny Barby but also a technique where the sex was one long scene; with a second couple starting midway through the previous one, and a new scene starting when each ended. It was essentially a form of gonzo since the cameras were so obvious and director Chi Chi LaRue such a fixture in the background (barking out orders). The amount of quality fuck for the buck transcended my focus on Lanny though and observed the others giving solid performances too, limiting my dislike of the gimmick more than would have been the case with other contract stars. With a couple of minor changes, it would have rated a step higher but it was well worth a rating of Recommended for fans of the ladies (all of them, not just Lanny).

Mistress Liss Honky Tonk
Girl: Yep, "y'all" know how they do it in the South. This is the story of small town "folks" on a Saturday night. I think Wicked picked the perfect girl for this movie when they chose Carmen. She has an extremely thick Southern accent; but what else would you expect to hear at a honky tonk? I love that this is a story about a group of girlfriends in a small town, and you don't even have to like country music to relate to that. The guys in this movie are exactly why some women are attracted to men in a cowboy hat. This is not unlike the videogames of yesteryear called "rail games" where the limited choices were sometimes frustrating.
Still, for porn, this might work better than gonzo or the point of view
(POV) material most men seem to enjoy these days for you and the clips were short enough to allow for some substantial variety. It was as good a use of director Mike Quasar as I've seen in recent weeks since he is the top talent at the company. Courtney Cummz is also a very skilled, attractive young lady so the pairing of their relative talents makes sense to this reviewer, even if I'm not generally a fan of the genre. By comparison, the up side to this one is that the pop shots are real and the selections appear on the screen faster.

"with a Vivid disc you pretty much know you're going to get something decent, and this is no exception. Director Chi Chi Larue actually gives you some sex that's a bit dirtier than your average vivid flick, with a DP, some foot and glasses fetish stuff and lots of pussy to mouth action. If you've never seen a Young as They Cum, this might not be the best place to start and I'd recommend this as a rental. RECOMMENDED."

Then our staff looked at The Gauntlet 2, saying it was: "the sequel to The Gauntlet 1, where a trio of ladies were led from room to room in a large house in order to fuck and suck; the main point being to swallow as much semen as possible. If you like swallowing, you're going to love this flick. It showed the world that The Gauntlet 1 was no fluke for director Vince Vouyer in that it showed innovation, lots of heat, and a quality female cast augmented by a large number of mope squad members to donate their seed to a worthy cause. Cheeks: "doesn't raise the bar any but it does continue the tradition of quality porn that the Suze Randall line has become known for. The girls all look their best, the action is hot, heavy and well directed, and the extras are a nice touch as well", Brandy and

"a sequel to the original Hothouse Rose that Pachard helmed a year prior in 1991. The storyline follows Jeanna Fine as Liz Harris, a woman obsessed over a porno starlet named Hothouse Rose (Victoria Paris) who just doesn't know when to quit no matter how much she knows she needs to. Her lust controls her, and things soon spiral out of control for her and those who she seems to come into contact with. Basically, it's a soap opera with some hardcore sex in it and a few moments of awkward comedy. Nina Hartley, Jeanna Fine, Victoria Paris and a pre boob-job Candace Heart in the same film? Yep. Well directed and rather steamy, Hothouse Rose 2 is completely melodramatic in spots but still hot enough to matter. Jesse Jane's Intimate Passages is a front molding of Jesse's
pussy and ass. The box advertises with a picture of Jesse spreading her
pussy saying: "I'm aching for your hard cock!!" As inviting as that
sounds, I wanted to see if the novelty itself lived up to the
pleasurable feeling of Jesse's sweet little cookie. Just to be
scientific and as objective as possible, I tried to set up an
appointment with Jesse herself since the only true way to compare the
toy to Jesse would obviously require your faithful reviewer spending
some quality time with the lady in privacy. Sadly, she was on a movie
shoot in Bora Bora, then picking up awards at the FAME show and couldn't
make it but I was given a definite, "We'll get back with you…" by her
manager so I'll be sure and update this review whenever the rendezvous
takes place.

The device comes with two parts; the molding itself and a bullet
vibrator with multiple settings. The molding was made of Futurotic
Plus which felt similar to some of the other toys I've tackled of
late, with lots of give and a flexibility that allows for numerous uses.
It has a later pussy shaped hole in it and a much smaller anal cavity,
both connected inside I found and each offering a slightly different set
of sensations. Having learned from past mistakes, I overdid the lube
that came with the device so I wouldn't hurt poor little Jesse Jr., and
I read the limited instructions on the bullet vibrator twice for good
measure. It had five settings; low vibrations, high vibrations,
pulsation and vibration mixed, a solely pulsating mode, and a low level
pulsation. For me, it added some variety to the uses and after some
playtime, I found that the combination setting in the middle worked
best. It used a combination of two AA batteries and a watch battery (two
were included) with a long life observed as I tried to see how long
they'd last.

My assistant for the testing suggested I skip with putting the bullet in
the handy little spot the molding had for it and applied the device into
my own backside "for a fuller experience". Needless to say, I'm not in
the habit of placing anything inside there, much less an electrical
device of dubious nature that isn't water proof or shock proof (so far
as I knew), and responded by telling her that I'd be more than willing
to let her go first with a slightly larger, all natural object that I've
grown fond of over the years. We both declined the offers and went back
to the testing after that. I found the friction of the two molding holes
to be decent and the vibrations did add a new dimension to the
experience, though a variety of positions and tests found me placing it
on a large pillow to angle it correctly. Maybe I should offer to write a
How To guide on getting the most pleasure out of a novelty since
I have yet to see California Exotics or their competitors provide any
documentation on getting the most out of their toys but that is best
left for another time too.

The anal spot was tighter and I found the head of my personal flesh
flashlight poking out of the hole on top when using it that way; kind of
an ego boost in a way though the purpose is to allow easier access to
cleaning it out afterwards. The cleaning was easy enough while it wasn't
the "fuck of my life" as advertised on the cover; it was a decent little
device to play with for when I'm in between testing buddies. A few weeks
worth of occasional play showed no obvious wear and it lowered my dining
bill considerably (no need to wine and dine an imitation pussy, right?).
That said, I moved onto the more expensive and detailed Jesse Jane's Insatiable Pussy & Ass.

Now, I've watched Jesse
Jane in almost every movie she's been in, hung out with her a few
times at shows, interviewed her, and otherwise gotten to know her in a
superficial manner so I have a pretty decent idea what her ass looks
like both clothed and nude. The Jesse Jane's Insatiable Pussy & Ass seemed a bit small for the cutie but it was more solidly built
for fun than the previous toy and resembled Jesse more readily. This
time, Jesse was on the box cover bent over and spreading her gorgeous
cheeks saying: "I want you deep in my sweet ass!" Granted, those are the
words I was hoping to hear from her at the 2006 AEE Show
or on the phone when discussing those scientific comparison tests but
porn is all about fantasy and Jesse has launched many a load in recent
years from a multitude of fans, present company included, and you take
what you can get.

The first thing I noticed about the toy was how much larger the box it
came in was. The molding weighed in at about 5 pounds and felt
more realistic too. The material was again the Futurotic Plus
silicone and I had no allergic reaction to it (nor did I find any
reported instances of such an occurrence after searching the internet
for them) though it felt firmer to me. The testing dynamic was the same
although this one seemed more adaptable to a variety of positions and
placements (in a sense, it was a better piece of ass than the
other toys I've played with). The vibrator was more basic version of the
previous one with only a speed control on the attached cord to control
it. Given the significantly increased expense of the Jesse Jane's Insatiable Pussy & Ass (which is similar in appearance to the
multitude of related star products), I'd think the more expensive device
would have all the bells and whistles but the elegance of simplicity
rule applies; less complicated devices work longer and have fewer
problems with maintenance. This one only used two AA batteries too,
dispensing with the more expensive watch battery the other one needed in
addition to the standard sized energizing devices.

In terms of how it felt, it was pretty good; certainly better than the
smaller molding though not up to par with even the worst pussy I've ever
dipped into. Still, the overall fun factor was high and even when I
didn't have my assistant with me (she was off testing a few toys on her
own), the ease of use, ease of cleaning, and other aspects of the toy
were undeniably favorable. If you're in the market for either toy,
suffice it to say that you will probably get a fair amount of use from
them. A little bit of care will go a long way to ensuring their
flexibility and ability to serve your needs. California Exotics did a
good job with these two toys and while I'm still waiting by the phone
for that call by Jesse, I can safely say the fun factor was high with
each of them.
