Highlights of The Week

One of our favorite body parts, the ass, gets the royal treatment in several releases this week. In terms of casting excellence, we would be hard pressed to find a better selection of booty than Jonni Darkko did in Bodacious
Booty; his latest offering to the fans. The movie totaled almost three hours and gave every gal a chance in the spotlight, from the wonderfully skilled Sandra Romain to anal queen Tiffany Mynx, to newcomer Naomi in the bonus section. As Don put it: "If you like tease footage, great looking gals with awesome asses, and active participation by the ladies, this is one you're going to want for your collection."

Coming in a close second was Manuel Ferrara's Round Butt Sluts, lasting almost as long and also having a number of fine anal performers. The elegance of the front cover stated it all for me, showcasing a fine ass all clad in lingerie and ready for the taking but the active roles the ladies played was indicative of the kind of quality Manuel is used to providing.

The next two titles were also stocked with some fine ass with Illegal Ass concentrating largely on foreign bred hotties while Bubble Butt Bonanza 1 provided a domestic look at the backsides of the porn industry. Each had a fair amount of tease to go with the sexually winning performances and would be nice supplements to some of our better titles of the week.

Last up in this section was our advance look at Jack's Big Ass Show 2, to be released next month. You have to appreciate the quality of a movie that starts off with Naomi in her best looking anal performance to date and ends with the charms of the lovely Teagan Presley (with many hotties in between the two). The playful humor of director Robby D. was at the forefront of each scene but there was never any doubt that the ladies made the show what it was. Give it a shot and you might just be staying in for the evening.

As a side bar to the ass loving titles listed above, we found two titles needing some special consideration do to their focus on that ever so special market niche, the anal cream pie. Both come from the gonzo offices of Red Light District/Platinum X Pictures with Jake Malone's Dirt Pipe Milkshakes and John Strong's Overflowing
Assholes being the titles in question. While many companies go out of their way to edit the last few seconds of their creampie titles, these two directors made sure to stick with the action so fans would know they were receiving the real deal instead of the very common fake internal pop shots others use. This lent an air of authenticity as to what took place and the heated performances by the cast were some of the best action we've seen to date in this realm.

If booty babes aren't your thing, we also had Jack's Big Tit Show offering up a number of large titties for your enjoyment.
Between the full scenes were wonderfully sweet tease sequences by Sara Stone and Jelena Jensen, marking another successful chapter in the spin off franchises from the Jack's Playground series. Each lady showed a lot of teasing, pleasing, and squeezing in one of the lengthiest Jack releases we've seen in a very long time. The fuck for your buck levels were very well handled and there was never any doubt that a cast as hand selected as this one would be anything less than great but give it a look and you'll see why we're becoming fans of the Jack's Playground Empire.

Next up, we look at a quartet of titles that tantalized our reviewers in their search for couple's friendly porn. Starting off with Playgirl's Burning Lust, we see the latest release by the publishing company to have achieved its goal of maximum satisfaction in terms of providing for the ladies out there. Posse member Mistress Liss must've needed a mop to carry around given her description of the scenes and extras, each one designed with women in mind. Anytime a reviewer watches a title multiple times before writing the details down, you have to suspect that it's a step or two above the pack, as was the case here.

Liss then found out how the other half lives in the Joy of Obeying, a prelude to her foam wrestling loss later this year, where the women all served their men so faithfully and were rewarded with the kind of meat treat they wanted from the start. As Liss put it: "I loved this movie, especially because it was easy to tell that the ladies were thoroughly enjoying themselves, especially Miu Lee."

Liss followed this one up with a look at Harder They Cum 5, saying all she needed to say with: "This was a great movie with a lot of hot scenes, although I would have liked to seen a wider variety of male actors in this film. I recommend this movie to both men and women who are looking for a lot of down and dirty action." It might've been a little less female friendly than the other two but served the purpose according to our esteemed reviewer, putting it on the short list for movies worth a glance.

The last title in this section was another DVD by Hustler, Heat, where our staff found: "the girls were cute", that "Axel did a hell of a job directing the flick", and commented how there was "something appealing in most of the scenes".

Next up was the latest offering in the sex simulator series by Digital Playground with their latest contract star in Virtual Sex with Sophia Santi. Sophia is a 2005 Penthouse Pet of the Year runner up with limited exposure in the industry so it seemed fitting that this title lets her growing fanbase control her in a number of sexual positions. She may still be sticking with all girl action for now but one glance at this gorgeous hotty and you'll see why the company singled her out to make a star. Her exotic appeal reminds us of another star that worked for the company several years back; only time will tell if she can live up to the marketing hype generated as much by devoted fans as anyone in the industry.

Our next title was based on a kind of curious idea, take some of the third tier men of the porn industry and allow them to service some of the top ladies as the gals saw fit in Mope Squad.
While almost certainly beginning as a insider joke by director Tim Von Swine, the scenes gave the men the chance to prove that they were worthy of the same respect the talented guys in the industry receive. In large part, they succeed although the true strength of the scenes obviously rested on the laurels of the ladies once more. The men enjoyed the bountiful buffet of booty on the menu too with some of the best ladies in the jizz biz on hand to help them along, including Naomi, Gianna, and Mysti May providing the type of performances able to turn mopes into dopes according to the director.

Our next category deals with more of the blasts from the past that The Mooninite has been investigating for us in recent months. Starting off with She's So Fine, the Henri Pachard classic from the 1980's, he tells us that it "tells the story of a girl who is about to be married but who is left on the day of her wedding by the man she thought loved her so. She decides to spend her time fucking whoever she wants before reuniting with him and giving him a taste of what he almost gave up. It's soap opera material with a strange eighties new wave vibe and some bad electronic music on the soundtrack, but the sex is hot and the characters are interesting which makes this one completely watchable and a whole lot of fun. The plot is even interesting at times, which is more than you can say for a lot of porno scripts."

His second title of worth was Andrew Blake's Secrets, a 1990's title that: "Christine (Ashlyn Gere) runs a high class call girl service in Beverly Hills that caters to only the wealthiest of clientele. She sets up their appointments and often times watches them with their customers for various reasons that she explains through the narration as we go from one sex scene to the next. She also drives around and masturbates briefly in between almost every scene!"

Youth was the driving theme behind the next two spotlighted titles with Robby D.'s Hard Candy 1 convincing Don that it "was exactly that; some hardcore eye candy with great replay value. I could nitpick as to how Keri Sable's bonus scene could've been more hardcore or how another hour of footage would've been nice but the quality of the scenes was such that each provided solid performances by a youthful cast who seemed to enjoy their work. The technical values were better than average and as shot, the series addresses some of the criticisms of the various Jack series without losing sight of the reason people buy porn over (stroke value). It was a good opening title for the series and I hope Robby expands on some of the concepts even more to provide something for those that find the amusing Jack series a bit over the top at times. In short, Hard Candy shows the continued expansion of Digital Playground into areas fans have demanded, showcasing young ladies having a good time in hardcore scenes without the third party chatter."

On the other hand, director John Strong made Freshly Fucked 2 a nice look at some of the newest gals in the industry as they jumped through hoops to go all the way for John and his studly bunch of stallions, with some of the hardest scenes of their admittedly limited careers. New talent tends to be shy so seeing them go all out with their entire bodies available for the taking might provide you with what you seek.

Director Zak Wylde's latest flick for Mayhem, Dicks & Dildos, proved to be another step up in his short career with our staff saying "the cast was all well suited for the action and the gals were very appealing to me. The extras added some value to the DVD and the amount of fuck for the buck was above average though some polishing up of various aspects of the movie would've made the show even better."
The formula was simple, have the ladies masturbate with lots of toys, teasing the camera, and then taking on some dick like they were on fire.

Contrast that with Mark Stone's I'm A Tease for Wicked Pictures, where the tease was even more prominent and the cast all juiced up to do their best with an assortment of sexual partners on hand. The diversity offered up this time waylaid the formula driven genre to incorporate a lot of free spirited improvisation, leading to more replay value since most of you won't get through the DVD on the first couple of passes.

Next up were a series of features by a number of different companies.
The best of the bunch was easily Atomic Vixens:
Escape From the Valley of the Sluts, a movie that parodied some of the Russ Meyer films from the past so well that it's a wonder we don't get complaints for listing it in the adult section. The VCA title is already on our short list for the end of the year awards, largely depending on what comes out during the rest of the year, but if you enjoy humor with your porn, this will be one to keep an eye on given the quality it offered.

Next was a sequel of Mission
Possible, a title that combined the best elements of Charlie's Angels, Mission Impossible, and the kind of sex Private is known for with Mission Possible 2. It may not be bigger, bolder, or better, but it was a worthy sequel full of the same care that made the first volume in the series a stroke worthy event.

This was followed by Lost, the movie described by the Colonel as "Private Black Label 2006 release of "Lost" is porn with a plot, following the story of a women searching for her sister, through her travels, she finds herself in sordid sexual situations that she never would have dreamed." He also mentioned that:
"This is a very solid sex movie, the dialogue is awkward as most of these, women, English is a second language. The only other thing that is slightly annoying is the slow motion during some of the sex scenes." So give it a look if those factors don't bug you.

The last title of this grouping was The Hacienda, the Evil Angel import where a vacation resort is the subject of much sexual satisfaction. If such a place exists, Liss is hoping to get the owners to sponsor her foam wrestling matches there since she'll need a place to unwind after her loss to the current reigning champion.
Otherwise, she made it clear that: "I wish this weren't a movie, because I know where I'd be taking my next vacation if it were a real resort.
The action was hot, and it was easy to see that the actors and actresses really enjoyed themselves. I loved the behind-the-scenes footage and I highly recommend this movie to all you naughty boys and girls."

Last up on our parade of porn is the specialty categories that really didn't fit anywhere else. Many of these titles were decidedly on the edge of good taste or so narrowly focused in terms of their intended audience that we can only tell you that if you want something different, you've come to the right place. We start off with Strap Attack 4:
The Rules Have Changed!, where women brandish their toys with the male backside in mind. The men all seemed accomplished at taking the fake phalluses deep inside their mouths and anal cavities though their sexual identities remain a question, however slight, since the ones doing the hammering this time are actually attractive women.

Prominent among this group were a number of adult actresses who -- in the 1990s -- finally had the chance to shine behind the camera. Gloria Leonard, for example, gave us Two
Hearts in 1993; a sweet-natured film that could be considered among the first hardcore romantic comedies -- also among the first to feature a hunky Playgirl model on the box cover.

Veronica Hart directed Love's
Passion, in 1998. This beautifully shot romantic tale concerned a romance novelist whose fictional fantasies come magically to life.

Nina Hartley made sex education a heck of a lot more fun when she released The
Advanced Guide to Oral Sex, in 1998. Also in the '90s, she directed The Secret Life of Nina Hartley (I mean, who else would direct that one -- she would be the expert) and Book of Love. And she appeared in several 'girl/girl' movies (Suburban Dykes, Hay Fever) that stand among the few examples of lesbian porn films actually made by and for women.

Candida Royalle, truly a feminist pioneer in the field of adult films, continued to release top-quality productions in the '90s, such as The
Gift, and One Size Fits All. She also directed two features, Revelations

(1993) and My
Surrender (1996) that -- aside from being blimey good pornos with some hotty-hot men -- were true testaments to the female spirit and experience.

Another adult starlet who made her mark in the '90s was Annie Sprinkle, who -- after writing the incredible Rites of Passion in
1987 -- directed the Annie

Crystalessence Gyrating Penis

With all the movie reviewing going on at X Critic, there are times when we need to unwind, take a break from the TV, and spend some quality time with our significant others. For most of you, that might mean a fine dinner, conversation, or simply hanging out but for our horn dog reviewers, it typically means nights of depravity trying out all the new things we learned from the latest volume of whatever Nasty Porn they happened to check out. For those times, they reserve a handful of special toys in order to enhance their experiences and today's review of the Crystalessence Gyrating Penis was one such case.

As far as sex toys go, I prefer to use my own reliable penis, tongue and hands since they have all managed to induce more than a few orgasms over the years, albeit with the guidance of an open gal that enjoys sex. There are times though that even a guy like me has to call out the heavy artillery and this vibrator was one such device. The useable portion of the purple toy is 6+ inches long, 5 inches around, and about 1 and a half inches across. For all intents and purposes, it is similar to my own equipment with the exception that it has a very unyielding material (called Crystalessence) and a hefty motor attached at the base, it could substitute for me at any given orgy.

There are three selling points to this toy that advance it ahead of most
contenders: Price, Power, and Play-worthiness in bodies of water. Let's examine these one by one:

First, coming in at under $17, you're not likely to find a sturdier, more powerful vibrator of this size. Sure, there are far more expensive toys that'll wake the dead but I have yet to see anything coming in at twice the price that were this versatile.

Second, this puppy was strong in terms of power. It wasn't the loudest contender on the block but it could be felt in the next room when turned up to its highest setting. If any low cost toy could truly serve as a penis shaped neck massager, this would be the one (and it felt good when I tried). I figured that this would suck down the battery power pretty quickly (from personal experience, the stronger the vibrator, the more quickly it needs new batteries) but it kept going at full speed for a lot longer than smaller models did, well over six hours on a fresh set of 2 AA Duracell's.

Third, the device is advertised as being waterproof, a claim that has been exaggerated far too often in my experience (especially since no one seems willing to take sex toys back, making their warranties a joke). I tried this aspect last since a bad experience would certainly cut short my evaluation period. It was tough enough finding a lady willing to assist me for this public review (kudos to Cary) but the possibility of turning the toy into a simple dildo from a mishap in water was never far from my mind (even when faced up close with a very appealing lady's naked body). Thankfully, it survived the shower (hot water, lengthy play), my swimming pool (much colder water, down to about three feet deep-on the steps), and her bathtub experience complete with stupid bubbles that hampered my view (though I could hear it humming in the next room).

I can't say that it'd work out during anal sex since it seemed too large for anything I'd be willing to try sober and she has a "you first" policy when it comes to backdoor exploration, but it was firm enough that I'm sure it would work for more sexually advanced lovers.
