Highlights of The Week

First up, we offer a look at two titles that take advantage of the point of view craze sweeping the porn industry. The appeal of this particular camera angle is that it minimizes the man in favor of giving the home viewer more of an ability to fantasize that he is the one being serviced by the hotty and as such, serves as an extension of the virtual sex titles that have sold so well in the past. The first of these is the initial offering in the latest spin off series from the Jack's Playground franchise, Jack's POV.
This time, the appearance is given that Jack is on the receiving end of the sexual pleasures so often given away to his friends and sound crew, although the same meat puppets are actually the ones getting their pipes cleaned. There's little doubt that this series will open up a whole new window of opportunity for fans to enjoy some of their favorite performers in POV fashion, especially with the raising of the bar for the genre by director Robby D. On the other hand was veteran gonzo director Jake Malone using a group of foreign gals in a point of view fashion as he starts his own POV series with Jake Malone's POV. His vision for doing so was a bit more by the numbers but it showed he picked up a few tricks from his associates at Red Light District over the years he's been with them and was a pretty good
attempt to keep up with the trends.

Next up were three titles that catered to the youth market more than usual. The first of these was director Mike Quasar's Who's Your Daddy?
8, the Zero Tolerance series where the ladies all treat the male talent as though they were either related or connected with via financial means (as in "sugar daddy") in a series so hot that some online retailers refuse to carry it. With hotty Julia Bond on the front DVD cover, there's no doubt that fans are scooping this one up in droves, thanks as much to Mike's skillful direction as the casting genius that went into it. This was followed by the more generic Bubble Gum Virgins where the youthful appeal of the cast outweighed the technical limitations as they were made up to inspire fantasies of long lost youth. While no one would make the claim that any of the gals were virginal, they had the look many of you enjoy watching in a stroke flick. We then move over to the showcase Larry's Angels where Hustler's newest contract stars, Memphis Monroe and Joey Hart showed that they were young, dumb and full of cum with a willingness to swing both ways to get off. One look at the duo and you'll probably want to check out the movie for the freshness they offer the mighty Hustler
Empire.

Almost in response to last week's dearth of anal titles, this week we look at a plethora of back door action by some of the biggest names, the newest performers, and widest variety of anal action seen in a long time with ten titles making the grade for this recap. Our first title was notable for a diverse cast though it featured newcomer Naomi on the cover as a focal point with Assault That Ass 8; another Jake Malone introspective. Interestingly enough, she was the least solid performer of the crowd but this made sense given the quality of the anal queens in the cast on display. In an even longer release, clocking in at well over 200 minutes on the double disc set, was Cheek Freaks 2 by director Bryan Xin. His transition to his new company now complete, he has shown a willingness to evolve as needed, slowly carving out a niche for himself in an already crowded market by using lots of tease and hardcore antics that address the "anal gap" between his employers and some of the companies caught on the edge. This was followed by director Chico Wang's Un-Natural Sex #17, a decidedly shorter but still worthy title where quality gals like Tiffany Rayne, cover girl Jasmine Tame, and Barbara Summers ham it up before they take it deep inside their rectal cavities for your viewing pleasure. Other notable anal themed titles this week were Anal Cherry Busters, Seymore Butts Party At Butts House, Brazilian Ass Whores DP Style, Up Your Ass #24, Animal Trainer 20, Lewd Conduct 26, and The Devil Made Me Do It, with each offering up something for the intended audience.
You can see why the competition is so fast and furious since these were only the good titles of the week, not the masses of churned out product
also clamoring for your hard earned cash.

If you're into Asian women, there were a couple of titles picked up by our own expert in the field, Rob Randell, starting with Danny Case's Slant Eye For the Straight Guy 2. It had a politically incorrect title but also a whole lot of attractive females of Asian descent so swallow your sensitive side and allow the ladies to swallow your manhood as you enjoy their unique talents and looks they had to offer in this nearly two hour tour of booty duty. The second Asian themed title worthy of your attention was director Richard De Montfort's Asian Fever 27 for Hustler Video. Richard provides a slightly different look at the genre from the series founder, Ray Anderson, with the only true weakness of the movie being the shorter running time of just over an hour and a half. Some of the cast is the same as in Danny's flick but a quick look at both of them shows how each subtlety addresses the niche for a different audience. Give both a look and you'll see what I
mean.

While the specialty product found on the shelves is directed at narrow audiences, the mainstay of modern porn is the vignette, or unrelated scene, that has little set up, no plot and is almost always a straightforward attempt to provide the masses with stroke material that gets them in, gets them off, and gets them out, in the least amount of time yet there are wide variations of quality in this genre too given that anyone with a handheld camera seems to fancy themselves as a star maker of sorts. We start off this segment with three titles brought to us by the talented Robby D. from Digital Playground. His best offering of the week was with Control 2, the second in his series of playful homage's to submissive women where they relinquish control to their male partners in order to truly enjoy all that happens. The cast was all perfectly suited for the show and provided nut busting performances with tremendous replay value as well as a running time in excess of three hours. Don found this one to be exceptional on many levels and proved that there would be no sophomore slump for the critically acclaimed series. This was followed by an advance look at another effort by the director where he successfully tried a fusion between the erotica of Celeste and the gonzo he was equally familiar with Deeper,
providing enough spark to showcase the women in different ways that suited their strengths over the usual cookie cutter formulas employed by some of Robby's peers. Both of these titles were well done but Robby also came through with the latest in his bread & butter series as Jack's Playground 30 came out. The cast was another one selected for their mass appeal with a variety of types to ensure that fans will be reaching for their belt buckles and zippers. There was more of an emphasis on the sex this time as the humor elements seemed cast aside in large part to accommodate the added footage some of us have complained about, leading to a situation where the best of both worlds was provided for the viewer. These were followed up with other vignette driven movies such as Erotica XXX #11, Swank Leg Love 2, and Big Sausage Pizza 7, all achieving some sort of notoriety based on the combination of cast, direction, and/or quality fuck for the
buck.

Up next we offer a look at some of the best titles this week for fans of ladies friendly porn with a revisit of Playgirl Private Pleasures that proved having a man on the cover didn't make for a gay flick. Goldenmuse appreciated the attention to detail and manliness of the men who took care of the ladies as much as Liss did in a previous look at the title. Speaking of Liss, our own X Critic Mistress found much to appreciate with Tales of Seductions where the scenarios varied but stayed true to life as they went from a dominant gal taking charge (ala Liss herself), a last fling between lovers, a bit of partner swapping, to an assistant photographer getting some action from one of the most squirrelly men in porn. We then go to a newer title by Suze Randall showcases gals like the lovely Lanny Barby and youthful Jenna Haze in Sex on the Beach. Named after a popular drink, the title showed that not all couples porn has to be boring and goes out of it's way to use lighting and photography that pleases the eye. Lastly, we look at another blast of ass from the past with Let's Talk Sex; the 1984 classic that had nothing to do with George Orwell. The emphasis on this erotic romp was the sense of humor displayed as well as the quality going into the entire production; right around the time when video nearly killed the industry, marking this as one of the last big productions of the time it came
out.

This week was light on quality feature porn but we found three that might tickle your fanny, I mean fancy, starting off with David Stanley's production of CrÃ¨me Brulee for Wicked Pictures. Starring the lovely Jessica Drake, the movie focuses on her as a budding young artist coming under the guidance of the older and wiser Randy Spears. The movie itself was a watershed for Stanley in terms of proving his vision was more than a wacko's offering to the world and the sexual performances were all top notch. It certainly didn't hurt that the extras, including the audio commentary, were so solid but they were merely icing on the cake as far as our staff was concerned. The other two titles we present to you were basically two parts of the same movie with Code Name: Mata Hari 1 and Code Name: Mata Hari 2 being the latest epic offering from the Private Empire. In both flicks, performer Katy Caro plays a stripper by day, secret agent by night who will use any means at her disposal to get the drop on the various bad guys. Using some of the large budget production values Private has showcased in the recent past, the scenery alone was enough to impress our reviewer but the hardcore sex was what drove him over the brink.

Our last title was one of those you will either love or hate, depending largely on where you stand in regards to transsexuals. Transsexual
Prostitutes #38 continued the long line of pronoun pondering flicks that ask the audience if they should be called dudes with boobs or chicks with dicks, dispensing with the genetic attributes for the duration of the examination. Some of the men were more passable than others although a healthy quantity of intoxicating substances will certainly go a long way in passing most of them off before the pants fall down. It just goes to show you that whatever your spice in life, we'll try to provide you a look at the best the porn world has to offer,
even when it comes to gender bender action.

Spotlight Performer: Sativa Rose

It doesn't hurt that Naomi is the cover girl or that she's featured in the movie but this latest HD-shot title from director Tim Von Swine seems to provide exactly what fans are
looking for.
