Dark Angels 2, Tiffany Rayne and a Platinum X Pictures Round-Up

Highlights of The Week

One of the top features of the week was certainly Dark Angels 2: Bloodline, the big budget sequel to Dark Angels: Collector's Edition. Director Nic Andrews took five years to revisit the story of a bloodthirsty pack of vampires, with Dillion Day and Evan Stone reprising their roles as the hunter and the hunted, with an otherwise all new cast of talented performers including sweetheart Sunny Lane, dominating Monica Mayhem, and cute Karina Kay all enjoying the sexual aspects of this finely crafted movie. The 2 disc DVD set had some fine extras and seemed more interesting than many mainstream vampire flicks so pick this one up if you want the best of both worlds.

Another title our reviewers enjoyed was Hothouse Rose, a classic porno from nearly 15 years ago, starring Nina Hartley, Jeanna Fine and Victoria Paris in this Henri Pachard movie from the early 1990's. Centering on a woman reliving the sexual exploits of her favorite porn star by picking up strangers in a bar, this was the first half of a suspenseful classic that some of you might enjoy.

Next up was one of the most awaited titles of the month, Teen America: Mission 9, since it contained hotty Teagan Presley in her return to the series. From the black ladies of Freak Nasty, Sista 21, and Jungle Love 5 to the fine Asian cuisine offered up in Me Luv U Long Time 8, these releases were all true to form as the women screwed to the best of their abilities. There were a few clunkers in the group but overall, fans of ethnic porn will have some solid stroke material to work with here.

In this week's short dedicated to the exciting gonzo genre, we're going to review some recent and past favorites from studio Platinum X Pictures (PXP), the sister company to Red Light District Video (RLDV). Like RLDV, PXP offers some top notch gonzo porn for porn enthusiasts of all ages (18+ of course). PXP offers some stuff that is generally better than most other studios. Anyways, let's check some of their hottest recent DVDs.

Sex Fiends #2 is a solid release from John Strong. It has five heated scenes with all kinds of action from clean straight sex to nasty double penetration. Titles We're Looking Forward To

Hustler's latest title of interest is Whores Don't Wear Panties 2, starring Penny Flame and Jenaveve Jolie. Both gals lead an all star cast of hot hoochie's as directed by Andre Madness. The second volume in the series has an even more renowned cast of girls in need of some manly attention, including Roxy Jezel, Alex Divine, and Crissy Cums; making it one of our reviewer's most anticipated titles.

Spelling issues aside, Mr. Pete has become one of the crazier performer turned directors in porn of late, with his casts offering up some great raw energy in his movies. One that impressed us a lot was Ass Fukt 1 so it should come as no small surprise that the sequel, Ass Fukt 2 would be anticipated even more due to the cast including Mia Bangg, Jasmine Tame, and Haley Paige. Promising decent extras and boasting a running time of 151 minutes, it looks like a winner given the cover alone so give it a look when you see the review.

Overlooked Titles You May Have Missed

Ass Worship 7: Director's Cut proved to be one of this summer's better releases in terms of fuck for the buck according to review Don Houston. With over four hours of movie spread out over two discs, director Jules Jordan didn't slack off one bit as he kept to his usual vision of offering up some of the finest performers in porn, including Flower Tucci, Vanessa Lane, Katsumi, and Lauren Phoenix; all in passionate performances that played to their strengths nicely. If there are any ass related series available that offer more quality or quantity for the money, we haven't seen them but this was indeed one of the best selections of the year in terms of superior elements combining to make a raincoater happy.

Soloerotica 6 was described as a movie that "continues the tradition of excellence set by the earlier entries in the series as it deftly blends some intense eroticism with some artful cinematography and unorthodox settings and wardrobe" in this selection of female masturbation scenes. If you're looking for gals pleasuring themselves without the parolee type of partner porn usually offers up, this series may appeal to you a whole lot according to review Ian Jane.

What's A Girl Gotta Do? was described as having: "tremendous replay value for both the sex and non-sex aspects of the DVD", "lots of fuck for the buck", and a "great cast" including Rita Faltoyano and Stormy Daniels, in this comedy feature about a gal trying to get ahead in the male dominated world of business. The extras alone were more plentiful than most movies offer in this flick almost assuredly designed to satisfy the couples market. Don't worry if you're a single guy though; Stormy and crew were good enough to transcend the usual limitations of a couples feature for broader appeal.

Taco Shop 2 was described by reviewer Rob Randall as "a porno release that focuses on steamy action with lovely Latin babes." and "I was really happy with this DVD. I thought the cast were remarkable. Each girl on cast was very easy on the eyes and watching them in action is plenty of excitement." Fans of top notch Latinas could do far worse than check this one out as it had over two hours of bang for the buck, all of it with a south of the border flavor.

Teagan: All American Girl was one of the shining jewels in director Celeste's directorial crown this summer as she showcased the popular gonzo queen turned contract gal in a series of vignettes.
