Checking In With Adult Time Director/Star Jane Wilde

Top hardcore star Jane Wilde has made her directorial debut co-directing her new biopic for Adult Time titled Stars  with critically acclaimed Adult Time Chief Creative Officer Bree Mills. Based on Wilde's memories of her life and times, Stars tell the story of Wilde’s final months as an eighteen year old, as she finds her own path into professional sex work after being coerced into it all by an older man. The feature was produced by Siouxsie Q., shot by Michael Vegas and also stars Adult Time/Wicked contract star Seth Gamble, Cam Damage, Aiden Ashley, Robby Echo, Oliver Flynn, Dale Savage, Ryan Reid, and Tommy Pistol.  You can watch Stars in its entirety over at Adult Time right now and if you are a Wilde fan, watching this is a must. "Things are great! Everything is falling into place for me. I couldn’t be happier right now."

"It feels surreal for it to finally be finished and ready for consumption. We’ve been working on this project for most of this year, and it’s been an idea in my mind for years before it came to be. I’m so grateful for the chance to tell my story this way."

"Directing was an incredible experience, mostly because I didn’t know at the time that that’s what I was doing. I thought I was just contributing/consulting on my dream project. But Bree told me after shooting that she considered me to be co-director due to my contribution. It felt great to not have this pressure on me to act a certain way but rather to just do what feels right for the film in the moment."

"It was again, surreal to recreate events that happened in my life before I was in the adult film industry, alongside my peers that have only known me after those events occurred. It certainly felt out of body at certain moments acting in the film."

"I’m not sure about a favorite scene. There are so many memorable scenes in the film that I think will stick with people for a while. I guess I’d have to say the scene where my character Julia and her best friend Ravyn played by Cam Damage explore Los Angeles. It’s one of the parts of the film that is genuinely carefree and happy. A shred of light in darkness."
