Of course this guard has to do his investigations, and asks to pat her down. It seems like a simple enough task, to most. However, this task is a little different considering that they're so familiar with each other. Bianca Bangs lets him pat her down – he doesn't find anything. Now that it's time to tase the next step in the process, he breaks the news to her that he doesn't have a metal detector.

This means that he needs to take the next step and allow a strip search. The young brunette resists at first, driving home the point that she is his brother's wife.
