I understand the stages and the stepping stones or whatever but what does skin color have to do with anything? There were a lot of differing opinions on it and what it came to was, fuck you in what you have to say, all I have to say is that’s racist. I was not interested in what they had to say all about that. I wanted to do what I wanted to do and I thought it was rude in the first place. I got flack from my agent but very quickly when they realized that my career wasn’t suffering, they shut their mouths.”
