Mormon Mom on OnlyFans Will Continue Attending Church

EDITORIAL FEATURES

Mormon mom of three on OnlyFans, Holly Jane, says she will continue doing what she’s doing, and she will continue attending church.

What happens when a religious person is also a sex worker? Cognitive dissonance.

The term cognitive dissonance is used to describe:

“…the mental discomfort that results from holding two conflicting beliefs, values, or attitudes. People tend to seek consistency in their attitudes and perceptions, so this conflict causes feelings of unease or discomfort.”

Holly Jane talks about what makes her and her page different and unique.

I had the opportunity to interview the stunning Holly Jane, 39, and ask her opinion on the matter. Her point of view is equally enlightening and controversial because Holly is a mother, a Mormon, and a content creator on OnlyFans (OF).

I asked Holly how she went from attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to making explicit videos to share with her fans, and after clearing up that she still attends church (almost) every Sunday with her children, she explained:

“Growing up, I was always the boy-crazy, sex-crazed girl even though I grew up attending church and in a conservative home. I went to public school for part of the time, and I was on the internet, listened to the radio, and saw women that posed in magazines like Carmen Electra and Jenny McCarthy. I saw them on Playboy and thought they were glamorous, courageous, and creative women. And I thought, ‘Wow, that is what I want to do. I want to be that.’ They were entrepreneurs in many different parts of the industry, and I knew I wanted to be a model.”

Instead, Holly went down the traditional path in life. She got married, had kids, and then didn’t know how to get into the industry or what her place would be.  But when she was 38, she learned about OF and realized she could create her own path.

“I thought, ‘I can be in porn,’ but at that time in my life, it really wasn’t an option. I couldn't just leave my kids and go film in the adult industry. I wasn’t at a point in my life where I could go and pose for Playboy, or even go try out.”

Deciding to start creating adult content is life-changing, and Holly was brilliant about how she approached it. She found somebody in the industry who informed and mentored her. She made a business plan, did market research, established budgets, and then executed her plan. Let me tell you something, dear reader. In this world, it is too easy to underestimate a woman. And it’s appalling to be impressed because a gorgeous woman with long, blonde hair, blue eyes, massive tits, an OF, and three kids has a business plan, but that is the unfortunate truth. The Mormon mom on OnlyFans is impressive, elegant, intelligent, and motivated.

I asked Holly how she manages the incompatible truths in her life; she is a Mormon sex worker. As a lesbian psychologist with an über Catholic family, I have always been fascinated by how common cognitive dissonance is in people who go to church.

  1. “The Bible is the written Word of God and thus the ultimate set of guiding principles governing all areas of life for the people of God.”
  2. I don’t think being a sex worker, being homosexual, and occasionally smoking or drinking are “sinful.”

A sinner is: “a person who transgresses against divine law by committing an immoral act or acts.”

That is conveniently vague and open to interpretation. Holly, my mom, and many other people share a sentiment. Yes, the Bible is the word of God, but the world has changed, people have changed, and if God is love, all of God’s children should be welcome in his house.

Holly explained that her truths are compatible because, to her, being a sex worker is unrelated to her faith:

“I think it’s like anything else. Everyone has a vice. Some people smoke and swear; does that mean they’re no longer Christians? I don’t really think my sin is greater than any other. And I don’t even really look at it as something sinful and bad. I’m doing something that is body positive.

I’m doing something 99.9% of girls do, taking and sharing photos and videos. I’m just smart enough to get paid for it.

I’m not out there sleeping with men. I was married for a long time, I’m having fun, and I’m exploring my sexuality, which is normal and natural. I genuinely don’t see it as a negative thing, and it’s something everyone secretly does. Do I think that means I’m not a Christian? That I can’t claim to believe in Jesus Christ and the plan for salvation? I don’t believe that; I don’t believe that.

I can have my faith and beliefs, and that doesn’t mean that I can’t explore my sexuality or that it’s wrong that I’m showing my body.”

People are afraid of the unknown and what they don’t understand. There is a difference in what it means to be a content creator, starlet, porn star, stripper, prostitute, etc., but to those who don’t know what that difference is, sex work is just sex work.

“I don’t judge anyone, but I’m not a prostitute. I’m an online sex worker. I take pictures and make videos; I am a nude model. But I think people automatically make that assumption and have a different idea of what I do. Rather than educating themselves and finding out what I actually do to gain an understanding, they just fill in the blanks.”

Holly loves the flexibility that she has as a content creator. So much so that she doesn’t miss the very lucrative 9 to 5 job she had recruiting nurses. She explained that interacting with her fans and being there for them is very significant and that she hopes she’s making a difference and being there for them too. Of course, I had to ask what the two most requested kinks and fetishes on her page are. I noticed the excitement in her bright eyes and big smile. She said:

“Well, because I’m a mom, MILF is number one. The older guys love that I’m a mom because I’m my real, genuine self on my page. And the younger guys have that ‘older mom’ fantasy. Number two, cuckolding.”

She giggled and said she’s very fetish friendly.

In an interview with the New York Post on August 2, she said that in 2017, her husband, Stephen, was killed in a tragic accident that left her to raise three children. She had a full-time job as a recruiter but turned to social media and OF to make ends meet.

Her faith is a big part of Holly’s and her kids’ lives. They attend church every Sunday, have friends in the church, go to activities, and her daughter just went to girls’ camp with the church. She said:

“It’s our community, and I don’t want to lose that. It would be easier to walk away, especially since we’re having issues. Since the article came out, my bishop has been aware of what I do now. It’s going to get very interesting because I was recently given a choice.

He came to my house and was very nice, but towards the end of the conversation, he said, ‘You are going to have to make a choice between your membership and what you’re doing.’ And I don’t want to make that choice.”

The stunning Mormon mom on OnlyFans told me there was something that she wishes she had said but that it wasn’t the time. She told me:

“I have three choices. Option A, I keep doing what I’m doing. Option B, don’t quit but lose membership. Guess what? I’m saying there’s an option C. I keep doing what I’m doing, and I’m going to keep attending. I’m going to fight with you for my membership.”

Having a membership means Holly Jane could continue going into the temple and participating in the sacrament. She added:

“Who are you to say that I don’t deserve to take the sacrament? That I don’t deserve to walk into the temple? I was taught that God is the judge and the jury, so why are you taking that role? I’m going to fight this tooth and nail.”

I sincerely applaud her for standing up for what she believes in, and I know that any change she’s able to create will also benefit all the marginalized communities who, today, don’t feel like they are welcome and comfortable in a church.

Holly Jane says she wants to be a voice for people who don’t feel comfortable attending church and that God loves everyone.

Are we going to see Holly Jane in professional porn? She has started looking into the possibility of doing girl-girl scenes. She admits that there shouldn’t be a difference in doing boy-girl or girl-girl but that considering her family, that’s what she’s comfortable with for now. But rest assured, she has been talking to “a very well-known manager in the industry” about making it happen.
