Maitland Asserts Her Dominance Once Again in Deeper's Mistress Maitland 2

Vixen Media Group contract star Maitland Ward stars in Deeper's Mistress Maitland 2 directed by AVN Hall of Famer/AVN Director of the Year Kayden Kross. The movie's final scene is out now and it is an opulent orgy starring Ward with Lulu Chu, April Olsen, Jasmine Wilde and Isiah Maxwell. Ward is an incredible performer and the way she shares true parts of herself in this movie is moving and hot AF. Here is what Ward had to say about this movie and her world.

Hello, Maitland! How are you? How are you doing?

"I’m doing fantastic! Thank you so much! It’s always great talking with you."

Congrats on the release of Mistress Maitland 2! How does it feel having this out there in the world?

"Mistress is such a signature character of mine, so it’s really exciting. The first Mistress Maitland was such a phenomenal success that Kayden and I knew we had to bring the series back in a huge, powerful way. The first one was more situations and scenes threaded together over a period of months but this one was a fully scripted, planned out showcase for me that had a deep, dark and wonderfully twisted storyline. When Kayden showed me the script, I was in love with it! We get to see the origins of the Mistress and more of her depth and darkness but there’s also a fun twisted quality about her that really shows through this time too. I’m just thrilled fans are enjoying it so much. The response has been huge."

What do you love most about how this came out?

"The script and artistry of it are absolutely stunning. I loved being able to really get into the rich psyche of the character. She’s dominant in every sense and she uses her intellect and her unique ability to size up situations and people before she strikes. We see her honing her craft in the various scenes until it all climaxes in this powerful Eyes Wide Shut style finale. I love how she’s multi-faceted. We see elements of her that are so wickedly in control but also elements of loss and vulnerability and how she overcame all of that to become who she is. She learned from a serpent in her youth about overtaking your prey. It’s was either him or me, is the lesson she learned. And that’s how she lives her life."

Your scene with Kayden Kross in this is phenomenal. How was working with her in this way, as well as her directing the production?

"Thank you! This was so fun and exciting for Kayden and I both to play out. The fans have been clamoring for us to work together in front of the camera, and we’ve been wanting to do this in a big way, so this was the perfect project to do it in. She’s always an amazing director to work with but having her step in front of the lens with me was incredible. We have such a genuine, natural chemistry in everything we do, and this was a really fun and special extension of that. And since we know each other so well, I really can play off of her unlike any other. And the fans came out in droves to see it! We broke sales records, it was really exciting. We plan to do much more!"

How are you most like Mistress Maitland? How is she not like you at all?

"Oh the Mistress lives inside of me. She’s a glove I slip into easily and enthusiastically. She’s just not a person I can be in my everyday life but to be able to play this smart, unapologetic and deliciously twisted woman is such a dream for me. Usually roles of power and control like this are given to men, in any arena, so this makes my character all the more special. But I personally let loose and laugh a lot more than her. Even right before we film. But once I light up that cigarette and swim in the script and setting, I easily transform into her."

What about BDSM do you find most empowering?

"I love the confidence that comes with control. And also a peace and calm with the assurance of your own power. Mistress uses her physical tools of punishment and reward but it’s the mental control that she has over others that’s most intriguing to me about her. I love playing scenes where she’s just really mind fucking people, and in the end they’re not even mad about it. They’ve enjoyed it too. They even want it again. She’s someone who sizes up her prey fast and then moves to bring them physically and emotionally to their knees. She is someone who thrives on delivering the unexpected. I like being unexpected. I thrive on that too."

What do you value most about your exclusive contract with Vixen?

"I love creating grand scale film/series projects like this. I really get to pick the things I want to do and make them in such larger than life fashion. It was always a dream of mine to create projects like this, so that makes it so special to me. This project, along with Muse, really marry porn and mainstream and heighten them both."

What sex scene in this is most memorable one for you and why?

"Most definitely the scene with Kayden and Troy. That one was so special and everyone was really excited about it. Loved giving that one to the fans out there! Their love for it brings such a smile to my face. The finale is also really incredible. For the Eyes Wide Shut setup, we had a live pianist and candelabras and a crowd of masked people in hooded robes. It’s the scene where Mistress becomes her full dominant self and claims her reign of power. Kayden did a beautiful job with it. It’s a really impactful climax."

What is coming up for you? What should your fans be on the look out for?

"Fans are going to see Muse 2 soon! This was the largest scale, largest scripted project in porn history! And you get to see me again as a character you know but who is different than Mistress. She’s someone who is confident and in control but life really comes against her this time in major ways. The monologues and lines Kayden has written for me are like nothing you’ve ever seen before. And I’m editing and finishing up my memoir that’s going to be published next summer. I’m so excited for everyone to read that!"

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?
