Sex School Hub on Adult Time Shows That Sex Ed Can Be Sexy

Adult Time's newest channel is the excellent sexual education channel Sex School Hub. The channel takes on complex and truly interesting real world sexual issues like how to have great hookups, how to best handle the issue of consent, how to work through your own sexual identity and a ton of other really interest topics. Sex School Hub Owner/CEO Anarella Martinez-Madrid also makes sure that the episodes are all packed with lots of great sex and sexy moments so there is not a chance that you won't stay engaged with these lessons as they unfold. I truly believe that sexual education in life should never stop because you can always enrich your inner life or your life with your partner/partners. Check this out. Hello, Anarella! How are you? How are things going?

"Hello, thanks for having us here at Fleshbot, it is a pleasure to talk to you. I am good, everything is hectic at Sex School at the moment, but looking forward to continue working."

Congrats on having your own channel on Adult Time! How does it feel seeing Sex School Hub on Adult Time? 

"It is kinda exciting to be sharing space with some of the world’s most popular studios, I hope Sex School is well received from the audience as well, because we are in between sex ed and porn. We have made our first season with a lot of love and effort."

What do you love most about making sex education movies? What about them makes you happiest?

W"hat I love the most, is to have the feeling that we, together, can change something. We can change a stigma and open a discussion about sex, gender and other non-normative ideas at the same time that we could help other people to understand sex better, to get confidence, to see how communication could look like and not to kill the vibe.  It makes me very happy to give space, value and voice to sex workers and porn performers and directors, together with sex educators, because who will know best sex than they? Basically, we want to normalize sex and its discussion.

What do you find that most people don't really know as far as sex goes?

"I don’t like to generalize, but what I think many times is that people believe that sex is basically a penis in a vagina, and the other things we do are just foreplay, when sex is more than that and also sex isn’t binary, right? So how is possible that sex can only be PiV [That's an abbreviation for 'penis in vagina'.--HK] ? Sex goes far more than this and is what slowly we would like to show, that is why we have whole episode about kissing, that we considered very sexy. At the same time we gave a big importance to talk about consent, we have a specific lecture about it and in all our films consent behind and in front of the camera is the most important thing,"

Do you have a favorite scene of what you have made so far?

"I don’t have a favorite one, I like all of them, but I have to say, that the threesome episode has a big spot in my heart, is our PILOT episode and for me is the beginning of Sex School and the amazing crew and cast.   I am really looking forward is to shoot the next season. We are aiming for 2022, please fingers crossed."

Why do you think that sex education has been made a lower priority in schools these days?

"I guess because [there is] still a stigma, right? And in schools the focus of sex ed is basically don’t get pregnant, don’t get an STI, you could die! Use condoms! But no one is talking about pleasure, desires,  or explaining how our body is transforming from kids to adults in a non-anatomical way. Sex ed first of all should be more inclusive and then be open about real questions that our kids have. We are focused to +18 audience as part of our films and have an explicit demo and we the adults, are still lost about  sexuality or we want to get more knowledge about it."

Can you recommend some companion books to what you have going on at Sex School Hub?

"MmmmMMMM… I am always reading many books at the same time, I could recommend: The Psychology of Sex and Rewriting The Rules by Meg-John Barker, More Than Two by Franklin Veaux,  Virgenes, Esposas, Amantes y Putas by Amarna Miller, especially the episode 12, where she talks about sex work, is pretty cool, although this book is in Spanish. Period Power by Maisie Hill.….I have more books I would like to share, but right now I am not at home, so I can not check the titles… I am very bad with names, ha ha ha."

What are your favorite channels on Adult Time, other than your own?

"To be honest, I have not much time to go through the whole site, but I really like they have animation films and that they have a channel for almost everyone where people could explore new kinks, fantasies or fetishes, that is what we are aiming as well."

What is coming up for Sex School Hub? What should fans be on the lookout for?

"Ah, I have been an spoiler before ha ha ha, we are aiming to shoot the second season next year. With COVID, everything has been a bit more complicated, but we are hoping to shoot next year. We want to shoot explicit episodes about anal, squirting, solo sex, oral and let’s say close the 'basics' of sex and then slowly start getting into more social-politic-cultural problematic and get into non-normative practices and fantasies. If you have anything you would like us to do, please write us. We will be happy to hear what you want to learn or what are your worries about."
