It turns out that Willis had sex in the office with McLane under what she feels was nonconsensual due to it being under false pretenses.  The matter of her working for a third party and not being his direct employee is discussed and in an angry outburst, Willis speaks in Spanish about how McLane was not wearing his wedding ring before and how she never wanted to be any man's "other woman" after experiencing what that was like in her family when her mother was abandoned by her father by another "other woman".

The assistant has trouble translating everything as quickly as he needs her to and the two leave in a huff. Willis talks about killing the whole case against McLane and she talks about how she never wanted to feel like some disposable woman with no future. Gamble tells her that he does not think of her that way and once he expresses that, Willis makes her move on him. The conference room is all theirs now and once Gamble is sure that Willis knows what she wants, he gets good and dominant with her, grabbing her around her throat and kissing her hard. Now, I love the fuck out of the anal and all the dirty talk that happens here but a whole lot of that dirty talking happens in English, which given the whole premise of the scene is more than a little distracting. Couldn't Willis had kept herself out of this situation with McLane by talking about shit a little bit first?
