Join PinkLabel.TV for a Special Virtual Screening!
Awesome indie porn site PinkLabel.TV is bringing us a special event, and you can join from the comfort of your own home. I don’t know about you but where I am, it’s hot as balls right now, humid AF, and swamp crotch and boob sweat galore are all but assured when one goes out. Not to mention I’m still kinda cagey about large groups of humans, so I’m always looking for fun stuff to do right at home. Bonus-- no one has to wear pants if they don’t want to!
This Thursday, July 15th, PinkLabel.TV is screening a Dutch film from 1975, directed by auteur filmmaker Pim de la Parra. It was masterfully shot in Techniscope by Marc Felperlaan (The Lift, The Northeners), featuring the last score by composer Elisabeth Lutyens (known for Hammer films and Amicus Productions), and with a screenplay co-credited to Harry Kumel (Daughters of Darkness). It’s in Dutch but has English dubbing so you don’t have to binge-learn Dutch on Duolingo. It’s the last of Scorpio Films’ movies that were labeled the “Dutch Sex Wave”. There will be commentary by PinkLabel.TV creator and curator Shine Louise Houston and co-host Ajaporn.
Susan, Sandra, Olga, and Julie (come on, you just sang that to the tune of “Mambo #5”, don’t deny it!) live in a farmhouse with this creepy dude called Albert. Albert is not all there mentally and just loves to stare at people, especially while they fuck, apparently. There have been some murders in the area by “sex-vampires” and they’re being blamed on a weird lady called Piet. Anton, a young craftsman, also visits this weird house of sexy women who may or may not be killers. It looks to me like a sexy atmospheric horror movie.
The screening will be at 5pm PDT/8pm EDT. The cost is free for PinkLabel+ members and $7 for a film pass. You can watch on your device or use a screen mirroring app to put it on your TV. There’s more screenings coming up through the end of September with a different film or a few short films each time, so keep your eye on PinkLabel.TV for those-- they’ll even send you an email reminder on request. They’re all on Thursdays, so make a standing date with the people in your life that appreciate indie smut and film history. I’m totally tapping one of the Weird Movie Boyfriends to come over for this. I have two, and when they converge, it’s scary-- and yes, one of them popped my The Forbidden Zone cherry already, accompanied by vast amounts of intoxicants. Grab some of those if that’s your pleasure, or just good old popcorn will do.
