I have a longstanding policy that basically comes down to “If you go through my stuff then you have nobody but yourself to blame if you find something that upsets you.” London River appears to have a similar attitude in Sweetheart’s latest entry in the Lesbian Adventures Strap-On Specialists series when stepdaughter Lilly Bell gets all indignant about something that’s none of her business.

In “Volume 16, Scene 2,” we find Lilly looking for a hairbrush in what I assume is her parents’ en suite bathroom. Instead, she finds new stepmother London River’s strap-on and harness. When London walks into the bathroom to find out what’s going on, Lilly doesn’t have the good sense or manners the be embarrassed and apologize. Instead, she starts demanding information and disapprovingly calling London a “freak.”

Forced by her own honesty to acknowledge that the many “guests” London has when dad is gone are attractive, Lilly opens herself up rhetorically for what comes next. “Do you want me to show you how it works,” London asks.

Possessing access to the internet, Lilly knows everything about everything, so she’s more interested in how being fucked by her stepmom might rate on the too-weird-to-go-through-with scale. After being reminded that they’ve only been stepfamily for six months, she decides it’s just weird enough.

Yet again, porn unintentionally provides us with a glorious teaching moment when London urges Lilly to cool her jets and not focus so much on the pole-in-the-hole action. Instead of going directly to the hot girl-on-girl strap-on humping, London reminds us all that there is an entire body available for pleasuring and being pleasured by. Penetration has its clear virtues but, news flash, it is not the be-all and the end-all of sex. If you’re going to do it, why not take a little time getting to know the landscape? Or at least taking off your oversized hoop earrings, which Lilly does before giving herself over to her stepmother’s control.

Not a scene packed with acrobatics or even lube, apparently, the sex is a real pleasure to watch, in part because the reactions seem so genuine. Lilly seems to be genuinely impressed by London’s oral technique and London has nothing but praise for her stepdaughter. And because of the extended smooching, breast adoration, soft compliments, and generally sensual manner of building passion and connection, once the much-awaited strap-on fucking begins, Lilly is well and truly ready to appreciate the skills her stepmother possesses.
