Book Review: Cleis Press’ Best Bondage Erotica Of The Year, Volume 2

Great to read alone, or out loud with someone(s) special!

Another delightful erotica anthology has dropped from Cleis Press! Best Bondage Erotica Of The Year, Volume 2, edited by Rachel Kramer Bussel is the latest awesome anthology to come out for your smutty reading pleasure.

I’m a big fan of short stories in general. It’s something you can just take a few minutes with and not get totally lost in, or if you have time, you can visit several different worlds and not get lost in a thick and complex plot. I’m also a big fan of dirty stories. I’m going to date myself here and tell you that I used to get on Usenet for my smutty fiction, some of which was dirty Star Trek or X-Files fan fiction. I’m also kinky and queer so I was excited to read this volume.

This anthology contains 19 short stories of all different types of folks who love being bound in some way, or doing the binding. Some of my favorites included. This may be TMI but I read the story “Leather-Bound”-- a kinky lesbian romp set in a library-- to my wife while she was all tied up and had various toys going. That was a definite win. I also enjoyed the kinky tale of an MMF triad entitled “Table for Two” and being a Daddy’s girl “Headspace” was also delicious. There are stories for every stripe of orientation and relationship here, something for everyone to enjoy.
