AVN/XBIZ MILF Performer of the Year Cherie DeVille stars in the latest edition of Adult Time/Pure Taboo's critically acclaimed sci-fi porn series. Future Darkly: Pandemic is directed by Bree Mills and we get to see DeVille in a scene called Kate And The Free Man where she co-stars virtually with Pure Taboo regular Dick Chibbles. "I am doing awesome, thank you for asking."

Congrats on starring in the new season of Future Darkly: Pandemic! How does it feel seeing it out there in the world?

"It feels amazing. I am completely honored that Bree asked me to co-create this project with her. She's amazing to work with, she's an amazing script writer. Every project that I have done with her, and there have been numerous projects, I feel each has been better than the last, and each I felt more proud of than the last, and this one is no exception. It was amazing to get to collaborate with her on such an interesting script and such an interesting project, and to do it all virtually. The entire thing was directed over Zoom, which I had never done before, and of course COVID tested, I had a PA and videographer in my house. In our tiny little team of three, we made the entire thing happen. I'm really just honored that she wanted to have me as a part of it."

You won an AVN Award for your last time starring in this series in Future Darkly:The Ghost Rocket. How did it feel being asked to come back to this series?

"This series I feel I've done a lot for, I've done a lot with Gamma and a lot with Bree, and Adult Time and Girlsway but Future Darkly is kind of special, at least in porn because it's so cinematic, because the plot is so important. The character development is so important, and, on a personal note, all the Future Darkly's are just that, they're a little dark, they're a little twisted. All of them have interesting, not just sexual elements but psychological elements. And for me, that's another level in adult content. So I'm always thrilled to work for any of Adult Time's projects, but specifically for Future Darkly because it is so very interesting. Ghost Rocket was
amazing and special, mostly because Michael Vegas is amazing, really I feel like that award for Most Outrageous Sex Scene should be just for Michael. I was glad to be in his amazing presence and glad to be trusted with Bree's amazing vision and script."

What other scenes in the Future Darkly series are favorites of yours?

"Now I'm like gushing about Michael Vegas. Just his acting, it's brilliant and wonderful. He makes me believe every character he's portraying. In Future Darkly Pandemic - Anthony's Date where he was searching for a girlfriend and ended up with Ana Foxxx as his A.I. girlfriend. It was erotic and emotional, I mean that's the thing, the scenes for this movie and the other Future Darkly movies are not just pornography. I mean they are, they're definitely going to get you off, but I think that you're going to think about it, you're going to fantasize about it after you watch it. You're gonna watch it multiple times because it has layers and because it has a plot and it has acting. I would definitely recommend Michael's scene in Future Darkly: Pandemic - Anthony's Date."

What do you like most about how Future Darkly: Pandemic--Kate And The Free Man came out?

"Honestly and I know I've said this before about the Adult Time/Gamma team, but their editors. Their editors are insane. We did a great job filming it, we did all that. This is not to take away from anybody else's skill sets or anything else, but once the editors get their hands on it, it just really brings it to life and adds so much depth and so much emotion. To me that's the moment where it goes from a good film to a real intriguing movie."

You have gotten to do a ton of solo scenes as of late. What do you love most about those?

"I personally always enjoy being with a partner, selfishly but what's really nice about any solo performance, is that it's all about you. It's incredibly personal, it's up to you to paint the picture, it's up to you to create the story, whether you're doing something huge like this movie or at home doing a simple JOI, using my imagination to create an erotic experience, or doing something completely silent and letting my body language speak. There's something really intimate about it and I feel like it's a really beautiful way for my fans to connect with me in a more personal way."

A huge congrats on being once again AVN's MILF Performer Of The Year! How does it feel to have that title back?

"It feels kind of insane. I know it's so trite and cliche, 'oh I wasn't expecting it' but I legit was not expecting it. The roster of MILFs, well, first of all, maybe it's just me but all the MILFS are on another level, all the MILFs are A-list.  So you're to me, already the cream of the crop. Some of the best performers, some of the most beautiful women, some of the most business savvy women. So, truthfully to be on that list is an honor, even though it sounds a bit trite. But to win, it's insane. It's such a big honor that I sometimes can't even wrap my head around it. To get both XBIZ and AVN, it feels magical. To see that your peers and colleagues are enjoying and appreciating your hard work is so incredibly gratifying."

How has making porn in a pandemic been for you? What have you learned most about yourself in this pretty challenging time?

"I don't know if I learned anything about myself that I didn't know but I will tell you I am a major extrovert and being stuck inside has been a trial, learning new ways to socialize, learning new ways to connect and trying to make those online connections and communications have as much value as possible. I would say that has been the biggest trial for me in terms of shooting porn. I've been shooting my own content, most of my income has come from my own content for at least the last 5 or 6 years so that's nothing new. I'm used to doing a lot of solos, I'm used to coming up with stuff on my own. Wearing many hats like that. But I definitely miss my colleagues, I miss being in the room and having sex, and just all of that joy from being in a partnered performance. I can't wait to get back to 'normal' again."

What is coming up for you? What should your fans be on the lookout for?

"I don't know. I always put my whole heart and soul into my content, especially. Being able to create my own content in a way that I can sustain myself has been really magical. I just want to thank my fans for not just loving what other people tell me to do on other peoples sets and bringing those fantasies to life but I want to thank my fans for loving my fantasies, for purchasing my content and being on my fan sites and for supporting me for all of these years. I'm glad you dirty fuckers are as dirty as I am. It's nice to know I have a crew of people who enjoy some of the same fantasies that I do."
