"Sæglópur" by Sigur Rós: This is hands down my favorite song of all time. I use it to meditate. I put it on anytime I feel anxious or overwhelmed. It’s so beautiful, it instantly calms me. I highly recommend giving them a listen while you blaze (if you partake). One of my favorite ways to listen to this band is in natural, alone, with headphones in. There, I’m Just completely in my element.

"The District Sleeps Alone Tonight" by The Postal Service: (Side note Save The USPS!) I remember hearing this song for the first time when I was a freshman in high school and to this day, it still gives me chills. Literally makes me cry.
God help anybody who dares to talk over it when I throw it on. LOL. It’s special❤️

"Calculation Theme" by Metric: I bet you’ll like this song, even if you’ve never heard it, It’s undeniably catchy. I mean, imho. This is off their first album, “Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?” and as many bangers as their are on it, this one stands out and always has. The majority of my music hasn’t changed since high school... which leads me to my next pick!

"Plastic Stars" by Freezepop: This song was my whole aesthetic for awhile there lol. Who am I kidding? I was and still am a brightly colored lil bubblegum synth pop baby to my core.

"In My Life" by The Beatles: This is one of the most important songs in my life. It’s incredibly nostalgic, as are all my picks. The Beatles are one of my favorite bands so it’s hard to pick a favorite but this one is just so sweet it had to make the list.

If I had 1 more pick it would have been “I Won’t Back Down” By Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (RIP Tom💔) because that’s literally my anthem. But then again, If I wasn’t capped at 5 picks I could go on forever cuz music is my best friend.
