Sending over a set to deal with some summertime sadness - quarantine has been fun in a lot of ways, but I miss my friends and fellow sex and stage performers! This set is dedicated to them.

“Rain On Me” by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande: I heard it rained on Pride in NYC this year, but protestors put on this song and sang as loud as they could. I know Gaga would have loved to debut this at a rave, but it couldn’t be more appropriate for the times we are in. bonus video for the hardcore Gaga fans! (Courtney sent over the parody video for this and it's pretty freaking rad so yeah, watch that instead.-HK)

“We Found Love” by Rihanna: I used to make this the last song we played to close out Queerly Beloved. Now that’s the party’s over I listen to it to remember the sexy packed outside dance floor filled with queer bodies. Take me back!

“Girls In The Hood” by Megan Thee Stallion: A perfect follow up to “Hot Girl Summer,” GITH samples “Fuck The Police” and was her opening performance for the BET Awards. This song also came out the month she was named one of Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Ambassadors. *fire emojis*

“I Gotta Dance to Keep From Crying” by Smokey Robinson and the MIracles: I have been putting this song on during my darkest days since the beginning! It’s so hard not to smile when you’re done and panting on the floor.

“Physical” by Dua Lipa: Future Nostalgia uses a lot of good samples but as an 80s baby this jam gives me hope for the first orgiastic sex scenes we get to do post-pandemic! When it’s time to get back to getting sweaty on stage, I’m going to get even closer; even more intimate, the most physical.
