Hello! How are you doing? How are you holding up in this quarantine/COVID world?

"I'm doing great actually. Quarantine for me has been a great time to stop and reflect on the way my life has been going and who is in it and what I care about. Things become clear in solitude, you start to realize what you miss and who and what you don't miss and why. I know everyone can't wait for life to get back to normal, but I think a lot of us are thinking about a new normal, where we're spending less time commuting, more time with our families, and having more meaningful relationships with our family and friends. I've been writing more than ever. With live comedy pretty much shut down, I haven't been able to do stand up, but I've been finishing up all the projects that I started over the years and never was able to find the time to complete before. I'll be coming out of quarantine with five more jobs. I've been doing a project on my patreon.com/sovereignsyre called 100 Poems In Solitude where I write a poem a day, using a different poetry form every day, while I'm in quarantine. I'm trying to document the experience of quarantine in real time. I think everyone should be keeping some kind of journal through all of this, because we are in the midst of history."

Congrats on your Super Horny Fun Time show coming up today on Adult Time! What do you have planned for your show today?

"I'm probably going to be doing some cosplay. I've had an idea for a while of a project I've wanted to do where I dress up as different fictional characters, but imagine them as real people, like say, if I was Cheetara, but she was say an IG model instead of a super hero. So far I'm thinking of Jem, Synergy, Cheetara, Evil-Lyn, and Buttercup from the Powerpuff Girls."

I've been writing scripts with my writing partner Ryan Byrne for our project Unholy Bible Study which you can follow on Twitter @unholybiblepod. We do satirical digital shorts, think if The Onion met NPR. That's how I've been getting out my stand up comedy jones. Then I've also started writing a monthly column for Mel Magazine called Everything's Fucked, which is a whimsical look at the history of sex. I've also been doing a lot of activism behind the scenes working with different groups pushing for the defunding of the police, racial justice, and eradicating sexual violence from the community.
