What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"To be honest, I was a super shy nerd. I graduated from high school at 16 and was still a little bit awkward. When I did date, I tended to go for guys who were already out of high school and totally inappropriate for me, much to my mom's annoyance."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"I didn't watch a whole lot of porn prior to entering the industry, mostly because I found it hard to find films that genuinely appeal to women. I love Joanna Angel, as any fan of tattooed babes is bound to. I've loved everything I've seen from Erika Lust and Four Chambers, too."

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do so far?

"Girl/girl scenes! I find it much easier to get comfortable and be into women, whereas men are a little more hit or miss."

What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

"I've never done a gangbang in either my personal or professional life. Hopefully someone will remedy that. :-)"

Who is your favorite performer to work with so far and why?

"Ryan McLane was someone I didn't expect to have so much fun with, as I don't usually go for such clean cut guys. I was pleasantly surprised! I also absolutely loved working with Kayla Paige and hope we get to repeat that sometime."

You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?

"It makes me so happy knowing that something I made or did brought someone joy. It's easy to get in my head and feel self-conscious, and fans are a solid antidote to that."

How did you become a porn performer? What led you down that career path?

"I used to be a therapist and had an epiphany in the last year of my doctorate. What I was doing was making me really unhappy, and I was missing out on my life. I moved out to L.A. a couple years ago and started making clips and modeling for SuicideGirls. Porn was a natural progression."

What do you most want to achieve in the industry?

"Mostly I just want to enjoy everything I do! If I can look back at the end of it and feel like these experiences have added joy to my life, that's enough. I really, really enjoy sex, so that shouldn't be too challenging."

What is one thing you would teach a woman who wanted to be a better sexual partner?

"To practice openly and honestly communicating her desires. Women are often conditioned to keep quiet about what we want and blindly inflate the egos of partners. This does everyone a disservice since most people genuinely want to please partners and suck at reading minds."

What do you love most about being in porn?

"The people! I've had so much fun on and off camera with everyone I've met in the industry."

What do you think are “must-have” DVDs for your fans?
"Axel Braun's Inked 6."

What do you like to do for fun?

"Cooking vegan food, Pilates, hiking and camping all over California, reading dystopian sci fi, and napping."

What are your favorite fetishes to explore on camera?

"I haven't explored many fetishes, but I've been pleasantly surprised with some of the high heel/foot fetish work that I've done. It expanded my thinking of what can be erotic."

Who are your role models in porn?

"Joanna Angel was the first person I remember thinking was totally bad ass in porn. I think she's done a lot to bring alt/tattooed girls into the mainstream."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"Parasite! I hate giving such a predictable answer, but it was a masterpiece."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"Kayden Kross' Drive with Maitland Ward was incredible. The aesthetic was so striking."

What is coming up for you?

"I think I'm going to Vegas soon to shoot a girl/girl scene directed by B. Skow. My girl girl scene with Kayla Paige for Adam and Eve has yet to come out, but I'm excited about it.

If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be?

"I might have to abstain! Sometimes getting what you want utterly ruins the fantasy. If you promise not to tell anyone, I have a long-standing celebrity crush on Charlotte Gainsbourg."

What single piece of advice would you give a brand new female performer?

"Know your boundaries and stick to them! No paycheck is worth feeling gross and disenchanted over."
