The Rise and Fall of Savannah

Savannah was the female porn star equivalent of Kurt Cobain (who was one of her favorite musicians): a performer who lived fast, amassed a huge following, and died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in 1994 at age 24. Her story is brilliantly retold in this 2001 Arena Magazine photo spread by David LaChapelle, starring model Ana Claudia Michaels in the feature role.
