Checking In with Burning Angel’s “Three Cheers For Satan” Director/Star Joanna Angel

Hail Satan and Hail Burning Angel!

AVN Hall of Famer Joanna Angel has directed and stars in a brand new porn comed for Adult Time's Burning Angel channel. "Three Cheers For Satan" stars Kira Noir, Kenzie Reeves and Jane Wilde as cheerleaders who sell their souls to Satan, played by Small Hands so that they can look young forever.

Hello, Joanna! How are you? How are things going?
"Hello Holly and hello Fleshbot! Things are going well- this year has gone by incredibly fast and it's rather spooky."

Congratulations on the release of "Three Cheers For Satan"! What inspired you to create this feature series?
"A few months ago I got an email invite to my 20 year high school reunion- and the wheels started turning in my head. Come to think of it- I never did reply to that email but I did write, produce and direct an entire movie about cheerleaders who graduate high school and sign a 20 year contract with the devil to look young forever... and then go to their 20 high school reunion with their faces and eyeballs falling off. I think that was a lot more productive!"

You cast your husband Small Hands as Satan. What do you love most about him in this role?
"I love that he's a devil, a high school principal and also an aspiring DJ. I love ambitious people who find time in their schedules to steal souls and follow their dreams!"

Kira Noir, Kenzie Reeves and Jane Wilde are super hot as the cheerleaders.who sell their souls to stay forever young. What about their performances in this really made you happiest?

"Everything about them made me happy. They are three incredible actresses and performers. I wrote the movie with the three of their voices in mind, so everything just came so naturally."

You cast Wilde as the younger version of you. How did it feel having her play a comedic version of you in this movie?
"Jane and I always joke about the fact that I could be her mom. She is about 18 years younger than me (so technically I am old enough to be her Mom) and she's also an east coast Jewish girl - like me- so we have a lot of similar characteristics. So the character I was playing was actually not so far off from the truth!"

How was your sex scene with Alex Legend in this? What do you enjoy most about working with him?
"Yes, Alex is a very handsome guy with a beautiful penis. What's not to like about it!!!"

Your Adult Time scenes that you have been directing are excellent. What do you enjoy most about being with Adult Time?

"Well, thanks, Holly- it's been an interesting year for my career as a director. I suppose the best thing about being with Adult Time is that I get to direct a large variety of things- from Lady Gonzo to Pure Taboo to Vivid to Fantasy Massage....to Burning Angel. I've gotten to explore so many different genres and work with a lot of different people!"

Your last cheerleader comedy "Vampire Cheerleaders" was also hella hot. Which cheer squad do you think would kick ass in a cheer off between the two squads?

"No one would kick anyone's ass and everyone would drink blood and have an orgy."

What else is coming up for you? What should your fans be on the lookout for?

"I actually JUST completed a role for a movie I'm really proud of directed by follow performer Whitney Wright for AllHerLuv.com. It's tentatively titled 'The Path to Forgiveness' - I believe it's coming out sometime in November but I'm not entirely sure. I played a very mean fucked up Jesus loving head-mistress of a lesbian conversion camp. I also have a hilarious role in Ricky Greenwood's upcoming Christmas release for Sweetheart Video which I am guessing will be out around Christmas!
