What kind of girl were you back in high school? Who did you hang out with/date?

"I was always kind of the center of attention even though I didn’t know many people. I switched high schools a few times so I was always the new girl and naturally people talk about that. What really set me apart though is how done-up I would get for school everyday. I’d wear these elaborate outfits with thigh high heels and jackets that said 'FUCK' across the back that I’d buy online accompanied by a beat face. It became something I was known for and kids would take pictures of me in study hall or in the hallway. I never clicked with many people in school due to cultural differences so I never really dated anybody."

Were you a porn fan before you got into the industry? Who were your favorite porn stars/favorite porn movies?

"I wouldn’t say I was a super fan but I’ve always admired sex workers in what they do. On the rare occasion I did watch porn, I didn’t pay much attention to who the stars were but my first favorite star was Lexi Belle then later, August Ames. Tyler Nixon was my first male talent crush because he stood out in videos to me and I remember thinking you usually don’t pay attention to guys in porn. I like performers with witty personalities and something of substance to say so I tend to gravitate to that type now."

What kind of scene have you found is your favorite kind to do so far?

"I don’t do too many different kinds of scenes at the moment but girl/girl and boy/girl/girl scenes have been the most fun so far. I love the energy of working with another woman on set and it can take away the tension BG scenes sometimes have."

What/who do you want to do on-camera that you haven’t done yet?

"I’d like to do more high quality scenes! I’m very big on presentation and I’m not very fond of a lot of the low-end scenes that have seemed to consume my repertoire. The less tube site content, the better in my opinion. I’m interested in *some* kink content but I tend to be a little more vanilla on that end. I’d really like to experiment though and test my limits. As far as who, I’ve already worked with one of my biggest industry crushes but I definitely have more (men and women) I look forward to seeing on a call sheet eventually."

Who is your favorite performer to work with so far and why?

"I usually don’t name drop too much but I did a cuckold scene with Tyler Nixon and he was great to work with. I’d never seen anybody make a script come to life like he did and really put their own twist on everything. That was a really fun day on set."

You respond to your fans a lot on Twitter. What do you like most about talking to your fans on social media?

"I actually don’t feel like I’m as responsive as other performers are but it’s largely due to the harassment I get from a lot of my followers. I’m not sure why my following base tends to be more like that compared to others’ whose seem to consist more of supporters but I have to handle it in doses. I’m one of few performers who are pretty outspoken so it causes certain conflicts and backlash from people who’re trying to tell me to basically just shut up and get naked. My DM’s are now completely closed to the public because of it and I’ve just left my business email in my bio. I do very much appreciate my real fans, though, that are supportive and actually patronize me as a business. Usually I’m in contact with them regularly."

How did you become a porn performer? What led you down that career path?

"I was doing clip sales on ManyVids for a few months and my agent randomly scouted me via instagram. It was just really good timing for me because I was planning on moving out anyway. It wasn’t too off-brand for me so a lot of my friends weren’t super surprised."

What do you most want to achieve in the industry?

"I want my voice to be heard and to make some kind of change. There’s a lot of archaic and discriminatory practices in this industry that I think most the people in it are at least on the same page about but nobody’s really working to change. The way the industry is headed right now, I think it’s due to become very oversaturated soon with no money circulating. A lot of the problems too are relatively easy fixes for the companies we all work for. There’s not that many so it’s a pretty controlled market and they have the power to make adjustments that could be revolutionary."

What is one thing you would teach a woman who wanted to be a better sexual partner?

"For anyone I think it’s important to focus on the pleasure of your partner as much as yourself. Find the fun and arousal in getting your partner off. If everybody involved is working hard to satisfy each other, the overall experience will be much better."

What do you love most about being in porn?

"I love being a sex symbol. I’ve always looked up to bombshell women and I try to embody them in my career as much as possible. Like I said, I’m big on presentation so I tend to be a perfectionist about how I look in my scenes or photo shoots which is a big reason I wish we had more creative control in our work."

What do you think are “must-have” DVDs for your fans?

"I don’t have many DVDs out right now but I’d have to say my favorite is probably the Swallowed DVD I’m featured in."

What do you like to do for fun?

"I’m honestly a bit of a homebody but I love going out with my friends to their events and supporting them. The music scene in Chicago is pretty big so a lot of my friends are artists. The last few years have been good for a lot of the people around me success wise so we’ve all had endeavors to support each other in like pop-ups, signings, etc. so that’s usually where I’m at and what I’m doing. As long as I’m home, I’m having fun."

What are your favorite fetishes to explore on camera?

"Anything where I can dress up is fun to me. I’m not into very many fetishes so I don’t engage in them too much but I like doing the ones where I feel like the result is really cute."

Who are your role models in porn?

"I wouldn’t say I have too many role models but I definitely have favorites. I love performers with good character who are fun like Romi Rain, Charlotte Sartre, Janice Griffith, etc.. If there’s anyone I look up to it’s other black women talents like Sarah Banks (who’s an amazing performer), Skin Diamond, Ana Foxxx, and my girl Julie Kay. Outside of the film industry, I was really grateful to meet Bella French, Co-Founder and CEO of ManyVids, at the XBIZ awards. Her strive to make sex work more ethical has always been inspiring to me and for her to be a former cam girl is very telling to the capabilities of sex workers."

What is the best mainstream movie you have seen recently?

"I just went to the movies for the first time in probably half a year to see US which of course was really good. Jordan Peele is the Alfred Hitchcock, Stephen King, etc. of our generation."

How about the best porno movie? Is there someone whose movies you like to watch who is working now?

"It probably sounds crazy but I don’t watch porn, not even my own scenes. I will say paid porn is much better than tube site porn, though."

What is coming up for you?

"I’m not 100% sure but I’m very excited to see! I think I’ve done a lot for my being so new. Before I even reached six months in I had my Penthouse and Hustler features. There’s so many companies left to shoot for still."

If you could fuck any celebrity, who would it be?

"I’ve honestly already fucked most my celebrity crushes (not even from being a performer) but I have a few  I’m just waiting to be in the same city as. Most my actor crushes from when I was younger haven’t aged great so I guess they’re off the list ha ha."

What single piece of advice would you give a brand new female performer?

"Stay true to yourself and don’t let companies or directors take advantage of or push you. Be very firm in any of your standards/rates and know your worth."
